Yellow Sub with delicious habanero relish and banana peppers
    April H.

Had a beautiful ride on the bike trail. Peach's was the perfect place to stop and refuel. They have parking in the back for cars and parking on their patio for bikes. We got seated right away under their gorgeous covered patio. They have a really nice menu selection and our party of 5 all loved their food. I got the yellow sub with a side salad. Hubby and friends got different burgers of their choice and one got a wrap. Their onion rings looked so good, my friends said they were delicious. Full rack of condiments on the table and they brought me out olive oil and red wine vinegar for my salad and it was so good. We all raved about the veggies tasting like they were just picked from a garden. Felt like a treat to have a real tasty tomato! Lol We are already planning our return trip as we saw they have corn hole and live music! Lol

Chicken wrap and Mac and Cheese. Wings on the other side of the table.

This is one of many stops at Peach's Grill. My husband had the wings but was disappointed that they weren't crispy as he asked for them to be. He liked the sauce. I had the chicken wrap and it was tasty as usual. Since it was Saturday, the place was packed. We were told it was a 20 to 30 minute wait. We could see an open table. After 20 minutes, we were seated there. I assume this was done deliberately for staff not to be overwhelmed. Our server was great. Not too many options in Yellow Springs especially on a busy Saturday. This is my favorite choice.

My sister's burger (awesome tomato included) and beer fries.

Stopped in after apple picking. We were seated immediately. The ambience inside is typical bar, nothing special. The patio looked nice but it was too cold to sit outside. Anyway, we waited a while for someone to show up and take our drink order. Our server was very apologetic, it was apparent the place was understaffed. Yellow Springs seemed to be bustling with the orchard crowd. I ordered a burger and onion rings, my sister also got a burger with fries. The onion rings were exactly what I wanted. Real onion, crispy and hot. My sister's fries were battered and extra crispy. Our burgers were hot and fresh but oddly enough, the star of our lunch was the super fresh tomato on the burger! It tasted like the ones I get from a farmer's market and it made the burger. While our server stuggled with keeping up, again, not her fault, it was nice to see the bar staff stepping in to help out-the bartender brought our food when it came up ready. All of that aside, our server was really sweet and we had her attention when she popped by. I'd definitely come back. It's a no frills spot but the food is solid and the prices were good.

Yellow Springs is such a gem, and we aim to try a different place every time we visit. We had been in Springfield, and outside of chain restaurants there was really nowhere to go to have a beer with lunch. So, we drove next door to YS. Peaches is a fun, casual place with an eclectic menu. I ordered the Chili "Ripper", which is a loaded hot dog with chili, cheese & onions in a brioche bun. It came with a side of DELICIOUS homemade chips. The hot dog was out of this world! They have several styles of rippers, depending on your taste- they all looked great! Paired with a local Boat Show IPA, it was just what I was looking for. Our waitress, Sid, was very accommodating and friendly. It was the perfect addition to our day trip. Being that it is December, we dined inside, but they do have a huge covered outdoor patio for warmer months. They have live entertainment on the weekends and open mic nights. I love Yellow Springs for its community of art and music. Peaches was a great find!

    Patty melt supposedly.

Other choices seem smart - the oil the fries were cooked in must have been "healthier" as that is the best I've ever felt after eating fries! The waiter seemed to take my allergy/sensitivity seriously, though he didn't know all the things that are GF. Cons: Choices in flavor profile: the burger's flavor composition was sour/vinegar, which did not lend itself to the actual flavor of the organic beef. Yes, us Americans like sweet things all too often, but it didn't jive. Would have been better with a gouda or a Moroccan spice profile. Not true to menu - the fries were not herbed. Just plain ol' fries. The price of the tea seemed quite high, think it was $6? If you're looking for a burger, go to The Wildflower Cafe in Mason. If you're in the area of Yellow Springs, and want a healthier option, go to Winds Cafe.

There were a few options for thanksgiving including some pizzas and salmon. My girlfriend opted for the glazed salmon which came with rice and asparagus but she substituted the asparagus with mashed potatoes. I had their Thanksgiving fare which included turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans. We ordered the Avocado Deviled Eggs for an appetizer. The Avocado Deviled Eggs were delicious, slightly tart, and had a salsa flavor. We really liked them. My girlfriend really liked her salmon. The portion was a really nice size. My thanksgiving meal was delicious. The turkey was really good, mashed potatoes were nice and creamy, and the green beans were cooked just right. Green beans a lot of times have a tendency to be overcooked where they are a little soggy or undercooked where they are too raw. These were cooked just right. The stuffing was good but a little dry. But I'm not really a stuffing guy. For dessert I had the tiramisu which was in small jar topped with some strawberries! It was also and a great way to end the meal. My girlfriend had the Dark Chocolate Terrine. She said it was dense and rich in chocolate flavor. We did check out the outdoor area after we ate. This would be a really nice place to eat outside in the spring or summer. There was an igloo-style structure you could eat in during colder months. I giving this establishment five stars. We had a 3:30 pm reservation, arrived at 3:00 pm and were immediately seated. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly and the food was really good. It's a trendy restaurant with clean restrooms and this would be an ideal place to eat at with friends and family. It has a casual vibe, not overly classy but still special. Drink options were plentiful and we had a lot of fun! Highly recommended!

The Foundry stays open late (food til 10 pm) so it was a great option. I sat at the bar and had the following: -Bbq short rib (3.5/5; pretty tasty. Short rib was tender and bbq sauce had a nice kick. The rice wasn't cooked properly so it was hard. I wanted to like this dish more...I think the traditional pairing of short rib w mashed potatoes would have been better) -Deviled eggs (3/5; these are mixed w avocado which makes them unique. Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking and needed some spice (Dijon, salt, pickles?) I wouldn't get these again -Oaxacan old fashioned (5/5; this old fashioned was made with tequila and mezcal and a flamed orange peel. The smokiness of this drink was super satisfying) Overall, the drink was amazing, service was great and food was alright.
