I went several times at peak dinner service (30+ min wait) and the meat was soft, melt-in-your-mouth, flavorful, and incredible, but I went again around 6pm before peak dinner service (no line, yay!) and noticed the pulled pork was very dry and not as piping hot - definitely had been left out under the heat lamps for a while before I received my order. Pros and cons of the timing, I suppose! Love their BBQ sauce. Drenching the meat is my favorite part. Busy spot in Timeout Market but is always my personal must try if I MUST eat in Dumbo.

Let's get this right! The food is delicious I can't complain about the portion size or the flavors. However, every time I go in there, and trust me I go in there at least once or twice a week, all the workers care more about gossiping and talking amongst themselves than helping customers. I've gone there a couple of times when The restaurant is completely empty and the girls behind the counter keep talking to themselves about random stuff while making eye contact with me knowing that I'm waiting to place my order and they just don't care. Now when you plan to dine in that's is a different story. I have dined in the restaurant maybe two or three times in the last six months. Each time I've gone into dine I've asked for something that's on the menu and the lady immediately says oh no we can't do that because that's a breakfast item and we can't cook eggs anymore or something really ridiculous I remember one time I went in it was 11am. The lady said we can't cook that because breakfast is over and I was completely in shock because it's still early in the morning but they can't have the decency to fry an egg.
