Selling "vintage" coffee 24 years past its prime! This should not even be legal.
Alexander C.

Selling coffee 24 years after its expiration date. Seriously? I have photos as proof. My wife thought $4 for 12 oz Jamaican Blue Mountain.....what a deal. When she told me, I thought that doesn't sound right....the label was so old the date was barely visible, but there it was..."Processed on Jan 14 1999". They shouldn't be selling this stuff, vacumn packed or not. Coffee does not get better with age, it is probably best before 6 months after processing.

Come here for the meat! I love their meat department which runs by independent meat shop: Charlie's. A lot of special cut: cubed pork belly for stewing, chicken bones for making soup, chopped pig tails and more. And if you need anything, just need to ask! Just like other No Frills, prices are always competitive and has good sales! Lines crazily long on weekends, so I usually avoid coming here.

I like its convenient location. The grocery is alright. I have been their customers for a few years. I have not yet purchased any food that I need to return so far. The line up is reasonable and the store is clean. Price is also reasonable. I give 4 stars because I found bite marks on their bread. I have attached photos. It looks like those are rat bites. I have become must more careful when choosing merchandise since then.

This grocery store was very close to where I was staying in Markham, so it was very convenient for us to shop here. It has a big parking lot and all the times that I have been here, it hasn't been too busy, so you can get in and out of this store pretty fast. It reminded me of a Food for Less store with reasonably priced produce and meats. What I like about this store is the wide selection of Chinese products and vegetables such as yu choy, choy sum and fresh noodles and they even have chicken bones and wing tips for sale. The inside is bright and the isle are pretty wide so shopping in here is pleasant.

This is one of the closer No Frills to me. Under same corporation as Loblaws but lower grade in food and service. Apparently they won an award for customer service in Markham which i somehow can't agree on. Yes they price match but it really depends on what THEY view as a major competitor. I know all the fine prints are on the flyer but who reads all that anyways?? This place DOES NOT price match FOODY MART. I repeat they don't price match Foody Mart they claim it's not a major competitor. Foody Mart has more than 1 location and tons of people shop there? when something is on sale and you try to buy in bulk like stuff that don't expire soon. They give you a dirty look. NEW UPDATE: When I price matched an item, apparently I'm only allowed to buy Max. 4 and not more than that...5th item requires you to pay regular price. All in all, service is not acceptable but price is ok. Have experienced better no frills for sure.

Famed Gloucester bakery inside.

This No Frills is a special one in that it is located at the intersection of Highway 7 and Warden. From the outside it looks like any other No Frills. But go inside and you will find a rather good selection of Chinese grocery options. It will not compete with the TT supermarket. If you happen to be shopping for your western groceries, this place adds in a nice selection of Chinese options. They have a built in Chinese bakery section as well as meats for your hot pot and veggies. Good seafood and vegetable section as well. Place is nice and big with plenty of parking. Bakery discounts their goods if you go at end of day. Check this place out.

Convenient enough location but lines are long and it's not very tidy. Staff aren't very helpful either but you can grab what you need and go

Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Yes!…read more I don't shop here often but when I do, their products are top notch - fresh and worth every penny! It's definitely expensive shopping here but you really do get what you pay for. I come here mainly for their bakery items like their famous jelly roll cake - a must get for the holidays! Their cookies here are baked in house and delicious as well. I often come here during the holidays for herbs as well, since herbs seem to sell out quickly at larger grocery stores. They really have everything that you need here. Butcher section also has great quality meat. As for their ice cream pints at the back of the store - you MUST get some! They are so delicious with unique flavours, some even with an Asian twist. Overall, a great grocery store to shop from if you have the means for it ;) OR stop in here once in a while to check out their specialty items like the jelly roll!

I stopped by to pick up one of their infamous jelly rolls. Never had one but heard that it's amazing. The standard one is the mixed berry however they had a lemon & blueberry one so I opted to go with that since hubby loves that flavor combination. We took it to a friend's house that night and it was exquisite! My friends who said that they normally don't like cake now have a new addiction. The cake had the perfect texture to it to hold up all that amazing fresh cream, lemon curd and blueberries and it was also a perfect balance of sweetness. I've been there on multiple occasions while living in Markham usually interacting with the staff in bakery and the cashiers and everyone I have encountered has been lovely. The parking lot isn't massive but it is enough to host all of their shoppers as I've never had an issue with finding parking there.

Please see my previous review for more detail. My daughter…read moreand I returned to Asia Food Mart for a culinary excursion of the Food Mart variety. This place is huge, and sells all kinds of things. Parking is a bit hectic, even at 1:45 on a Thursday afternoon. The parking spots right in front of the Food Mart are very small, and scary for a big SUV like mine. But there is very frequent turnover, and if you just drive around the lot for 30 seconds, someone will be pulling out. The parking spaces in front of the stores facing the Food Mart are larger and a bit easier to navigate. This mall is great fun to go to. They have all manner of foods (fresh noodles! Great fruits! Asian stuffed toys and cosmetics! Fresh meat and seafood! The list goes on and on ...) and an excellent prepared food counter, and a Chatime outlet. We bought some mochi, some enormous strawberries, and a variety of dim sums from the food counter. Our selections included fried dough sticks (they actually reheat well in the air-fryer), fried squid, scallion pancakes, seafood and pork dumplings, some delicious pork and shrimp mini-pancakes. The squid was the way my daughter likes it (chewy), and I enjoyed some as well. Everything else was great, although the dumplings were a bit past their peak, and should have been switched out for new ones. We also enjoyed some delicious bubble tea from Chatime, which always has new, seasonal selections to tempt you. Basically, a trip to the Asia Food Mart is really fun, as they have such a diversity of products. Next time, I'm coming here to shop "for real" (meaning actual groceries, as opposed to lunch or snacks). The butchery and fish counters serve really fresh food at a good price, and there are some great deals on produce. You can't get around the fact that this is a snack haven. You should check it out now!!! It's open 24/7.

My family and I had just eaten at the Pacific Mall, but man, wish we had saved ourselves for this spot. As far as an Asian grocery stores go, this is one of the cleaner, and better organized ones that I have been to, maybe ever. Not only are they clean, but they have a great variety of snacks and drinks, as well as your standard fare for everyday cooking. To me, the star of this place has to be their prepared foods area. Evidently after 8pm, they mark down lots of their prepared food items. From dim sum, to noodles, fried rice and other entrees, you can score plenty of items for $4-6 which were normally 2-3x that. I felt like a kid in a candy store and began snatching and hording all the things. I had to stop and remind myself we were on vacation, and would be living out of hotels for the next few days, so I limited myself to just a handful of items. We got some noodles, fried rice and dumplings, which we would end up eating for breakfast over the next few days. While nothing was mind blowing per se, the food was solid and certainly economical. If I lived in this area, I could see myself coming here on the regular just for the prepared foods. OVERALL - almost wish I hadn't come to this place, so I'd never knew what I was missing. Thank you Canada for showing me what's possible. CELEBRITY RATING - Simu Liu

Asian grocery store located inside the plaza of Langham Square. Parking situation is a disaster…read morehere since there's so many food establishments around. But they also have an underground parking which has more spots available. I noticed that this T&T Supermarket is definitely on the smaller side compared to their other locations, especially the one at Warden & Steeles that is much bigger. Selection here is also less since their space is smaller. I came and got lucky with finding their viral $12 fried whole chicken and knew I had to get myself one. Took it home to have for dinner and it was delicious and definitely a bang for buck type of item. You can find prepared foods here like sushi, breads, dim sum, chinese dinner dishes and more. I like their loaves of bread here as there is a huge selection of this ranging from sweet to savoury. They have a fresh meat counter and seafood counter as well so your items can be as fresh as possible. They have self check out areas too if you're looking to check out without speaking to anyone. Remember to bring your own bags as they charge for grocery bags here (and everywhere in Ontario). Make sure to also get yourself a collectors points card for all the rewards.

I definitely prefer their cakes over other places as it's not overly sweet.
