Real Canadian Superstore - Tons of gift cards

Real Canadian Superstore

I used to drop by Ajax practically every weekend. I stopped doing it for a couple of years, but I…read morerecently revisited what I used to do. Instead, I drop by once a month. When I am in Ajax, I pass by the Real Canadian Superstore often. Shockingly, I had never been in the store until yesterday. My dear friend and I like Joe Fresh. We decided to drop by and check out what this supermarket has to offer. It's a large, typical Real Canadian Superstore. We found the Joe Fresh area and browsed. She was there to look at pants and jeans. I love the selection in this section, especially the loungewear. I like coming to this store to check out nail polish. I haven't given the Joe Fresh brand a try. One of these days, I will give it a shot. There is a huge assortment of gift cards. I have never seen anything like it. I also loved that you can get the lowest price on M&M's chocolate bars. I was happy. The produce is fresh. I also love the bakery. There was plenty of parking here, even with the extra gardening section that blocked up part of it. I will need to visit this store more often. It's tough when you have this store and a decent Sobey's roughly a block away. (177)

This is a big, bright beautiful store, with logically organized aisles (I hate it when they label a…read more"cookies" aisle, but not one for crackers - Real Canadian labels them both!). Their seafood section, deli and meat section always features very fresh products. Anything that isn't is sold for discount. If you want to buy deli meat, I recommend buying it from the actually deli counter. The lower cost will save you money. The lack of packaging will save the environment. Win-win, I call it! I bought $5 of parma prosciutto at the deli counter, and the same product would have cost $10 from the fridge case. They have a wide selection of foods from various cultures and cuisines, in addition to books, magazines, clothing and household items. You could do pretty much anything here except auto repairs! There is even a wine store in there. If you want one-stop shopping, then this is the place to go!

Longos is always amazing to shop at. The store is very clean and neat, and all their fruits and…read morevegetables are nicely arranged together. They've always had things in stock and have a nice deli counter with many options. The bakery is also a nice add on as they make fresh baked goods on site.

My head turned as I passed by this Longo's to drive over to The Wing Stop. I needed to get some…read morebacon and decided to do some grocery shopping after lunch. This Longo's is nice. I was mesmerized by the bakery section. I wanted every single cake, but I looked at the custard tarts and got them instead. The croissants looked so fresh and yummy. If I could live in this section, I would. I would also end up being too large to get out of the store. I bought these frozen brussel sprouts that come with butter sauce. I haven't tried them, but it sounded good to me. As with Longo's, the produce is exceptionally fresh and beautifully arranged. It's like going into an arboretum, but without paying for any admission fee. I got my pack of bacon. This place has sodium-reduced bacon, which made me so happy. It was also on sale for $4.99. The hot foods section smelled so good. I stood there for a minute looking at everything and wanted to eat, even though I just did. I had a cheerful, pretty pregnant cashier check me out. She was so polite and nice. I swiped my rewards card. I am close to getting a discount, but it does take a while to get there. This grocery store has an elevator to the top floor, where there are more places to sit down and eat. There is a Starbucks on the main floor, and an area to sit down and relax, too. You can use your rewards card at Starbucks, too. It's a nice, clean grocery store. There is plenty of parking. I like it. (109)

Both had same thing, returned 2 days later (the morning after I cut them open at night) and she wouldn't return them! I told her I would write a review and post it everywhere and she said she didn't care, it was past 24 hours. Absolutely rude and didn't care. Gave her the opportunity to do the right thing and fix it but for 6.00, she would rather get a bad review! Bad customer service. Business is nothing without customers, you need to look after them or you have no business!

This is for sure the worst place to shop. They advertised fresh chicken wings for .99 cents a…read morepound. The sign said $2.89 and spoke to the manager and gave me a really hard time and said the chicken wings that were advertised had not come in yet. I asked what the difference would be and he gave me no answer. They were just bagged wings. Finally he spoke to someone on the phone and finally said I could take the wings and he would tell the girls on cash to ring them in at the clearly advertised price. When I went to pay the girl would not ring them in. I tried to argue that the manager said to ring them in. She started yelling at me and literally through them off to the side. This is clearly false advertising. There was no sign anywhere that even posted .99 cents nor any space for any other wings. They advertised fresh grade A chicken wings. I called before I left home and they said they had the wings.
