I just do it myself as the disinfectant and towel is at entrance. Most checkout clerks can do the price matching now. Not all knew how to do it well but I haven't had issues lately.

We were hosting a party and came to Sobeys to buy balloons. Along with the balloons we purchased in-store, I politely asked the lady if she could also help inflate a few balloons we brought ourselves. I even offered to pay for the service. Her response? A flat-out "No," delivered with a tone so cold it felt like I was asking for a personal favor instead of being a paying customer. When I asked why, she simply said, "We don't take responsibility." I asked what kind of responsibility she meant -- she had no answer. She just repeated that they couldn't do it. Her attitude was downright unpleasant. She even told me to "go to Canadian Tire, they'll do it." Honestly, the entire interaction felt like I owed her money or had done something wrong, when all I did was make a simple, reasonable request -- as a customer who had just made a purchase, no less. Well, I did go to Canadian Tire. And guess what? Their service was fantastic. They gladly helped inflate all the balloons -- including the ones I brought -- and their prices were better too. The exact same balloons were cheaper there. So here's my advice: If you're preparing for a birthday party and need balloons, go straight to Canadian Tire. You'll be met with friendly service and fair prices. But if you go to this Sobeys and happen to run into that same grim-faced lady, be prepared to have your day -- and possibly your child's special day -- completely ruined.

Thank goodness that I caught each of these charges. I went back to the store, my time, my gas to get a full refund as I should. The way I was handled was that is was a common occurance and oh well. Well it is a BIGGGGGGG CONCERN and that is why I am writing this review PLEASE PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS THERE IS A PATTERN HERE AND YOU DON'T WANT TO BE A SOBEYS VICTIM.

Afterwards, I needed a grocery store. I did a search and found this Sobeys on my way down to highway 401. Perfect! This grocery store is in a plaza with a Dollar Tree, Circle K, and more. It was cool seeing this grocery store open at 8:30 pm. I'd later learn walking into the store that it was open till 11 pm. Nice! I had no problem finding a parking spot. This store had steady business while I was there. I entered the store and the produce section was in front of me. It was exactly what I needed. I needed an avocado. It took me a bit of time to find one. I found bags of avocados, but I didn't need that many. I then found guacamole in small tubs and bags that last two weeks. I was close, but not really. The avocados were across from the fruit. There was a special. I got what I needed. I liked that it had a variety of ripeness levels to choose from. I quickly browsed around this rather large store. It was brightly lit and inviting. I liked seeing plants outside the store. There were more by the pizza and deli meat sections. My favourite thing these days is to look at beverages. I saw everything from water flavour enhancers to carbonated drinks. There was a sale on Cove beverages. I had never had the raspberry, so I got a can. I've had the grape before and got it as well. I headed to the checkout area. There were self-serve kiosks. I went with a human. Sana, the female staffer, was nice. She asked me if I had a Scene card. I did and had her scan the barcode off my phone. I tapped to pay with a credit card. Done! I thanked her, grabbed my items, and headed to my car. I put my items in a reusable bag and drove home. I had the raspberry Cove drink when I got home. I put ice in a glass and poured the drink into the glass. It was yummy. It helped that it was chilled. The avocado was perfect. I used it in a smoothie the next day. It had the perfect ripeness for it. I liked shopping here. I got what I needed and a lot more. The hours are amazing and I got a human cashier. (153)

Everything in the produce section looked fresh and clean. A couple of aisles were partially blocked while shelves were being restocked but all the other shelves were full. I picked up a quarter chicken (white meat) with potato salad and it was good, although nothing special about rotisserie chicken. The potato salad with it was good. I also picked up a cabbage roll which I really enjoyed. I'll have to go back for more. If I lived loser to this location, I would probably shop here regularly.
