I'm asking myself why the carts are at the cashier but still, i walked down the whole cashier row, no carts, no baskets. So I took a deep breath and thought no worries, maybe I don't need one. I started through the isles looking for rice and immediately noticed the disarray of goods on the floor and falling off the shelves. I was too tired to wade through these isles trying to get my bearings. I left the store immediately because it's not worth it to get an anxiety attack in there. The staff asked at the customer service if they would honor the price and they said no. This is misconception on Metro. There were no watermelon slices in the display area. Better to shop at Nations across the street than at Metro.

Always the best regular prices and always something needed that is on sale at decent discounts. Staff have always been helpful. No self checkout but thats not a complaint - there have always been adequate cashiers open to keep lines adequately short. Many of the cashiers have been there a long time which says something is only a good thing, and they're very fast too! Glad to hear the original location is staying open during the redevelopment of the site, with a new FreshCo opening in its place, in the new development.

On top of that, there's a small skincare section with decent prices and even some Jellycats tucked in (so cute!). Downstairs, there's a little boba shop. I tried their cheese grape drink, which was not too sweet and came with fun jelly toppings. The shelves are all fully stocked with products that have been meticulously placed. Rows upon rows of beverages, snacks, instant noodles, etc. You'll find a variety of mostly East Asian (Chinese, Korean, Japanese) and other multicultural foods. Who needs a $388 cuboid watermelon? Staff are eager to assist the best they can. The current grand opening promo is spend $100 and get a $10 voucher.
