Dad, can we get Crab?
Peter M.

Everything We Need Just Down the Street!! We have been going to this T&T Location for many years. We have been to many of the restaurants and shops in Langham Square and always stop in for take-out or for groceries. We love the food and the selection and the prices are always competitive with the other chain stores and other Asian supermarkets. We like going here since it's just down the road from us and every time we go it's like a new adventure.

Fresh crepes

Visited during a trip to Toronto and enjoyed seeing all the unique snacks and large selection of items. One of my favorite finds was the collection of unique flavors of Lay's chips. Notable mentions include the grilled piglet chips and chicken feet chips (which I had to bring back home to try)! Other items that we purchased include a durian and preserved five spice quail eggs among other groceries. We also tried the fried crepe which was made hot, delicious, and loaded with a variety of toppings. I wish there was a T&T near my home in the U.S.

3.5 stars As with many chain/franchised business they're pretty much all the same and I like this T&T. I find the parking situation on the chaotic side so it's not as pleasant coming here. This one is considerably smaller than the other stand alone stores and everything is more compact. There's the regular sections that you see at every T&T and even hot food such as noodles, meals, bubble tea. My mom mentioned that the prices are cheaper so that's a bonus point for this location. I tried the Korean sticky rice buns and it's not like the ones in Seoul. I was disappointed.

This is the chocolate sign that covered the whole cake and fruits behind it!

This review is for the T&T Bakery section. The customer service was mediocre, as the staff were extremely curt and unhelpful which was unexpected for this well-known chain. We pre-ordered the Chestnut cake for a birthday ($20.99 for 6"), expecting it to be fresh. We also requested a birthday message to be written on the cake. When we picked up the cake, the chocolate piece containing the message was in a separate plastic container. We noticed after we left that the message was smudged. We had to physically put the chocolate piece onto the cake ourselves, which was inconvenient. The size of the chocolate piece covered more than half the cake and the fruits, which made it look unappealing from the front. The cake itself tasted alright, but the presentation and service was subpar. This would not be my first choice to order a cake for a special occasion.

Fried Shrimp Sushi Burrito

Always love coming to t&t supermarket for groceries, they really have everything. Was here one day with my mother and noticed that they now sell Sushi Burritoes. I decided to give one a try, because it was cheap and I was hungry so why not. The sushi burrito itself was not bad, I got it earlier in the day so it was made fresh. It has an abundance of ingredients and a good rice to ingredients ratio. Definitely not as good as some restaurants or Japanese establishments, but satisfying for the low price (seeing as how most advertised sushi burritos are now $8.99, and up to $13.99+

It's a T&T supermarket. There's a kids area that use to be the cosmetics section. New are the one way automated gates that now block off the front It's still pretty chilly in here during the winter seasons. Shelves are usually stocked and the end aisles have a ton of miscellaneous trinkets. Wifi: mall (weak) loyalty: yes

Noodle bar with over 10 different varieties of noodles.. I just couldn't resist! Spicy Beef Noodle ($4.99) has tons of beef and tendons with in house made Noodle cooked perfectly Al dente! A nice and spacious eat in area too for people to chill... Usual madness on Opening Day at this newly opened T&T... Come back and check it out when the hype dies down.... Just like any other T & T, maybe just more options in the hot food department. Ample underground parking with direct access without going out in the rain or the cold.... +1 star

Gonna down one star for my recent visits to this T&T. This is still the T&T I regularly go to, due to the underground parking lot and the fact bags here are free (though personally I don't think that should be a determining factor as consuming plastic bags is bad for the environment). However, the food quality here has taken quite a hit in recent months, to the point I'm starting to reconsider going back to the Warden store. The produce section, in particular, is of concern here. Two weekends in a row their green onions had a lot of black spots in them, and last weekend especially some of their green onions had purple spots as well. Their veggies are also unnecessarily wet...I can understand preserving the freshness, but there's no reason for it to be as wet as your hair immediately after you finish a shower. Some of their prices have also increased astronomically in recent months. Live tilapia in the seafood section used to be $4.99/lb, but it's up to $5.99/lb now...just for tilapia. Despite the negativity, I will say the service here is miles better than any other T&Ts in Markham. Everyone seems extremely happy, no matter who you talk to. The cashiers are even nicer to talk to, as many do try and start a casual conversation with you. Love it!

This T&T is one of the quieter ones in the GTA. There's outdoor and underground parking at this location, which can ease parking a little. It's somewhat smaller than others but the selection is pretty similar. The aisles are a lot narrower. This store is also much newer and cleaner than other Asian supermarkets. All the meat, seafood, and vegetables are very fresh here. There's beauty/cosmetics shop inside the supermarket. Other T&Ts only have a small section. The bakery/sushi/pre-made food sections are pretty small though. This store is very efficient at clearing out old stock; I always see the staff checking the best before dates on the products.

Carts only!

The new T&T Supermarket in Unionville is great. the semi-underground parking takes a bit of time to get used to, the flow isn't quite right yet. and it's so new that the smell of new paint still there. (may be the rain does adds a bit of smell too.) I like escalator, and the one that have here has a special feature that takes your cart from the supermarket's floor to the lower parking floor. first thing you see are the items that are currently on sales. and you will see the big produce area. sushi bar, noodle bar, and bubble tea counter are something you don't really expect in a supermarket, but they are here in the new T&T supermarket. the aisle width is perfect, much wider than the usual T&T. and something is different too, I don't know if it's the color choice of the ceiling or the overall color gives me a different feel. I can see this T&T will be really busy at evening rush hour, as it's really close to the Go train station, and Kennedy Rd. always have tons of traffic, but would be great to visit at late nights. 14/15

It's the king of Asian grocery stores in the area. What's unique? It embodies a Fresh Market concept, fresh handmade noodle bar, made to order sushi bar, fresh dumplings, open bakery, the design elements are excellent here. Surely this is considered an example store akin to HQ Loblaw's at Maple Leaf downtown. Quite a sight really although it may not be the biggest grocer with the largest selection, it's the most attractive looking Asian super market I've been to in Toronto, Vancouver, and Los Angeles Plenty of free underground parking available even on a Sunday afternoon. I did try some sushi here, dynamite roll and spicy salmon sushi roll -- it wasn't that great. Too much rice and the rice didn't taste right either. But anyways.. For grocery items looks like they have the basics covered and more.

Clean and spacious establishment.
Johnny W.

Lovely assortment of everything (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) you would find in an Asian supermarket. The only differences...This one is much spacious and extremely clean. Just like Whole Foods, this is every OCD person's (including me) dream to be walking into.

Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Yes!…read more I don't shop here often but when I do, their products are top notch - fresh and worth every penny! It's definitely expensive shopping here but you really do get what you pay for. I come here mainly for their bakery items like their famous jelly roll cake - a must get for the holidays! Their cookies here are baked in house and delicious as well. I often come here during the holidays for herbs as well, since herbs seem to sell out quickly at larger grocery stores. They really have everything that you need here. Butcher section also has great quality meat. As for their ice cream pints at the back of the store - you MUST get some! They are so delicious with unique flavours, some even with an Asian twist. Overall, a great grocery store to shop from if you have the means for it ;) OR stop in here once in a while to check out their specialty items like the jelly roll!

I stopped by to pick up one of their infamous jelly rolls. Never had one but heard that it's amazing. The standard one is the mixed berry however they had a lemon & blueberry one so I opted to go with that since hubby loves that flavor combination. We took it to a friend's house that night and it was exquisite! My friends who said that they normally don't like cake now have a new addiction. The cake had the perfect texture to it to hold up all that amazing fresh cream, lemon curd and blueberries and it was also a perfect balance of sweetness. I've been there on multiple occasions while living in Markham usually interacting with the staff in bakery and the cashiers and everyone I have encountered has been lovely. The parking lot isn't massive but it is enough to host all of their shoppers as I've never had an issue with finding parking there.

Please see my previous review for more detail. My daughter…read moreand I returned to Asia Food Mart for a culinary excursion of the Food Mart variety. This place is huge, and sells all kinds of things. Parking is a bit hectic, even at 1:45 on a Thursday afternoon. The parking spots right in front of the Food Mart are very small, and scary for a big SUV like mine. But there is very frequent turnover, and if you just drive around the lot for 30 seconds, someone will be pulling out. The parking spaces in front of the stores facing the Food Mart are larger and a bit easier to navigate. This mall is great fun to go to. They have all manner of foods (fresh noodles! Great fruits! Asian stuffed toys and cosmetics! Fresh meat and seafood! The list goes on and on ...) and an excellent prepared food counter, and a Chatime outlet. We bought some mochi, some enormous strawberries, and a variety of dim sums from the food counter. Our selections included fried dough sticks (they actually reheat well in the air-fryer), fried squid, scallion pancakes, seafood and pork dumplings, some delicious pork and shrimp mini-pancakes. The squid was the way my daughter likes it (chewy), and I enjoyed some as well. Everything else was great, although the dumplings were a bit past their peak, and should have been switched out for new ones. We also enjoyed some delicious bubble tea from Chatime, which always has new, seasonal selections to tempt you. Basically, a trip to the Asia Food Mart is really fun, as they have such a diversity of products. Next time, I'm coming here to shop "for real" (meaning actual groceries, as opposed to lunch or snacks). The butchery and fish counters serve really fresh food at a good price, and there are some great deals on produce. You can't get around the fact that this is a snack haven. You should check it out now!!! It's open 24/7.

Yo, why can't we have an Asian Grocery Store this clean and nice in MI? Came here after checking…read moreout the Pacific Mall. My family and I had just eaten at the Pacific Mall, but man, wish we had saved ourselves for this spot. As far as an Asian grocery stores go, this is one of the cleaner, and better organized ones that I have been to, maybe ever. Not only are they clean, but they have a great variety of snacks and drinks, as well as your standard fare for everyday cooking. To me, the star of this place has to be their prepared foods area. Evidently after 8pm, they mark down lots of their prepared food items. From dim sum, to noodles, fried rice and other entrees, you can score plenty of items for $4-6 which were normally 2-3x that. I felt like a kid in a candy store and began snatching and hording all the things. I had to stop and remind myself we were on vacation, and would be living out of hotels for the next few days, so I limited myself to just a handful of items. We got some noodles, fried rice and dumplings, which we would end up eating for breakfast over the next few days. While nothing was mind blowing per se, the food was solid and certainly economical. If I lived in this area, I could see myself coming here on the regular just for the prepared foods. OVERALL - almost wish I hadn't come to this place, so I'd never knew what I was missing. Thank you Canada for showing me what's possible. CELEBRITY RATING - Simu Liu
