However, I do not feel as if it's worth reducing the "stars" on the review as the food was absolutely outstanding.

When we arrived, they were not busy and their customer service seemed to be lacking. We were sat down quickly and given menus but the waitress didn't come back to get our order for about 10 minutes. They do have several types of Pho soups, which I really enjoy. My son ordered a Pad Thai. When his arrived it didn't have typical Pad Thai noodles which was a mistake. We brought this to their attention thinking the dish would be remade but it wasn't offered. I had an order of their summer rolls which was good and I also ordered Pho Kay Kho, beef combination which was a spicy Pho. Both meals and the appetizer or plated and presented well. How Pho I had overall was good and I even added extra spice to the soup. Overall, both meals were good, but it didn't really live up to the rave reviews that I had read. The server could have checked on us a couple more times and refreshed our drinks. The interior appeared to be rundown, just a little, but not enough to make me go somewhere else. If I am ever in this area and would like Asian/Thai food, I would probably stop again. I would prefer another couple of my favorite restaurants that serve Pho over Bep-pa's. You'll see the photograph the presentation was nice. The food was good however, there were some customer service issues along with the interior portion of the restaurant could be cleaned up just a little bit more. I would recommend, however there is nothing over the top about Bep-pa's.

I came by on 6/19 and was sat with no wait at a booth in their bar area. The waitress was very nice and held multiple roles (greeter, waitress, bartender, cashier etc). I would go back just for the soup alone. The food was equally as good. I ordered the Cashew nut lunch entree that came with white rice. Again, full of flavor and only mildly spicy as I can't handle much heat. Served steaming hot and with a decent portion size. I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my list of places to return. *Sorry for the poor picture quality. The inside is clean and has a slight industrial look with bright red chairs for warmth. I thought the decorations inside were beautifully chosen. There is a decent amount of seating inside, but not a lot as the restaurant itself occupies a sort of small space in this plaza. The service was good! Food arrived in a timely manner and servers checked in on us often. We shared the Shrimp Tempura and I got Drunken Noodles. The Shrimp Tempura was really good! Each piece was fried to perfection and paired well with this sweet chili sauce. They were a bit thin though. As for the Drunken Noodles, I got it with chicken at a medium spice level. I will say that I was feeling the spice at a medium, which is what I usually get at Thai restaurants so be warned! I feel like there was a good chicken to noodle ratio in the dish. More chicken than I expected. The flavor was right as well, but the dish was too dry and a bit salty. There was like no sauce and I do not even like my noodles to have that much sauce but I was looking for it in this dish. An added plus about this spot is that their entrees come in generous portions. Overall, I would rate this spot a 3.5/5 stars. There are probably dishes on their menu that would have hit harder for me than the Drunken Noodles. This seems to be a solid spot for a small town like Hickory.
