I mean, it's palatable if you're hungry, but if I want to enjoy good fried rice, this isn't it. First, it's not cooked completely, so yay for eating semi-hard, raw rice. Secondly, it definitely seemed they just put the pork on top of an already half-made fried rice. I found myself using ALOT of the duck sauce and soy sauce. The rice was with the butterfly shrimp; the breading is by far one of the worst I'vehad, and to add, how does fried shrimp actually get mushy internally? I ended up throwing away the five shrimp that were left because I couldn't handle the mushy mess. I also wasn't sure the egg roll that came with my husband's order would be good, so that went in the trash as well. My husband had the General Tso's chicken and pork fried rice. We asked for it extra spicy, extra sauce, and um, the spice is a joke. He said the General Tso's was subpar, something you would eat if you were starving. We had fried cheese wontons that tasted as if they were reheated in a microwave. You know how breading, like on pizza or bread in general, gets chewy when heated in a microwave. I feel bad for having to write this review, but I don't only post negative reviews. I post honest reviews that tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly, and I can honestly say this restaurant is now on my list of places I will "NEVER GO" again. When my husband went to get the food, I'd say at least they were very nice. The restaurant itself could definitely benefit from some repairs. But if the food is of such low quality, I would definitely focus on that. So, yes, this is my honest review and opinion.

I ordered the Taste of Thai mixed appetizer and my husband ordered the hibachi chicken. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything was very good. The reason I am giving it one star is because after we looked at our bank statement two days later we realize that they had added on an extra $24.78 to the tip after the fact. Our total bill was $28.25. My husband left a tip of $8.75 (Over 30%) bringing our total that we paid to $37.00 but they charged us $61.78. I have added a photo of the price of our food from their website and also a screenshot of our bank app showing the $61.78 charge and the $24.78 reimbursement. The food is good, but the integrity here is not, so we will not be back.

My family and I have literally been coming for years and tonight I had one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. It started with me calling in my order at 6:00, the lady told me 10-15 mins I arrived at the store around 6:15 and ended up sitting until 6:50 waiting on my food. No big deal because I understand things get busy. After getting home I start to eat my food and realize that my chicken is literally so hard and over cooked that you couldn't even bite into it and some pieces were nothing but breading no chicken in them what so ever. I immediately call because I just waited for almost an hour on food that wasn't even fit to eat. The lady tells me that she's sorry and that there wasn't anything she could do. No compensation next time, no refund, nothing. I'm sorry but that is no way to treat your customers. I ended up spending $30 on food that went directly In to the trash. This whole experience reminded my why I hate eating out. I will never be back. Save yourself the headache and drive 5 mins down the road to Asian garden in Cramerton! read more

And this wasn't due to business, as there was only one couple inside eating, no phones ringing, and no visible cooks working hard on orders. It would appear that they simply do not cook the food until you actually come in and pay, which completely defeats the purpose of calling in ahead of time. While I understand there was a pandemic at one point, we are past that, and honestly, a sit-down restaurant feels more inviting with metal utensils and real dine-in dishes and cups. 2) I wasn't too fond of the shrimp egg roll at all. It was way too salty; I couldn't get past the first bite at all. 3) Not as many tables, and there is room to add at least three more tables. All in all, despite the minor setbacks, we give this place four stars. I'd definitely return for in-restaurant dining, especially if the tableware were updated to something appropriate for its food.
