So we have tried a couple Chinese places in the area that were not too wonderful. My wife found this place and the pics looked great. We placed our large to go order. Arrived to pick up during dinner hour around 6. Place had people standing all around lobby. In cars waiting outside. Phone ringing off the hook. All the tickets and to go bags lined up like 10 deep. This place has been around for a long time, ~20 years. You don't stay in business that long if your food doesn't taste good and your portions are small. This is my go-to takeout spot. I call it in and by the time I get there it's waiting for me. Portions are big enough for two meals and it's tasty. All the basic American Chinese dishes. After giving it a shot, and coming back to leave my review, I notice that the most recent review is from two years ago. Things must have REALLY changed in two years. This place was terrible. I walk in, and and my food wasn't ready yet, so I pay and wait. While waiting, I wish I wouldn't had paid yet. I saw the lady from the counter MICROWAVE my boneless spare ribs. At that moment, I just wanted to walk out. Sure enough, the food was soggy, and tasteless. Even the house fried rice was bland and flavorless. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! We eat here on a regular basis. The staff is always friendly and the food is good. I do recommend calling in your order so you don't have a long wait. It takes them about 10-15 minutes to prepare it. Enjoyed the food here for years. Recently I called in an order and my daughter in law picked it up on her way home. Every dish was horrible. After a few bites we threw it all in the trash. I called the new manager to complain. She told it was not her fault because she had new cooks. I told her we had eaten there for years and had never had such horrible food. After arguing with me she reluctantly said if I brought the food back she would remake it. I told her it was so bad we threw it in the garbage. She said there was nothing she could do. I told there was something I could do. I will never order from the China cafe again and I would tell everyone I know not to go there. One star is way over rating. Terrible place. read more

Terrible. Owners were disinterested in their business as the Cashier was cooking my food. Fried Rice was extremely bland, wet. Egg Roll was mushy and tasted as if I got it from my grocer's frozen section. Feel bad for those that grew up in this area experiencing this as their take out Chinese food.
