Fried Dumplings - I believe they are the pre-made, frozen kind that you can get at US Chef Store Egg Roll - also think was pre-made. Average. The food is okay. Although we thought the crab Rangoon was excellent. Great place to go when you're very hungry. The portions are big. Mine made 2 meals. Prices are reasonable. Nobody eats on so I can't comment on service. Ambiance is no frill. I'm sure it's to keep costs down. read more

I enjoy it a lot. Granted the employees are all Asian, which Is a plus for me. I've heard folks complain about having trouble ordering food because of the language barrier but that doesn't bother me, I just talk a little slower. Food is always great. Took one star away causes prices are a little high and the wait times are usually longer then most places around. I'll definitely keep going here tho. read more

For a shopping center Chinese spot this one hits the mark. Good portions and tasty. Good proportion of beef to broccoli on the lunch special and they fried rice was veggie fried rice not just plain fried rice like other spots. This is my husband's favorite Chinese takeout spot. It's small with a couple tables to dine in. There's basic takeout Chinese dishes like sweet and sour chicken, lo mein and beef with broccoli. They do have combos that come with rice and egg rolls. We actually split a meal deal which came with a full sized entree, rice, two egg rolls and crab rangoons. We got Mongolian chicken as our entree to split. The rangoons and egg roll were greasy, but still tasted good. The Mongolian chicken was okay. I wanted the onions to be cooked down more. They were a little raw for me and I wish the sauce was sweeter. It's a lot of food for your money. Two of us split all that food and two drinks for $20. It actually lasted us for two dinners. First thing first. They are very aware and safe regarding coronavirus, with no indoor seating right now and lots of plexiglass to protect yourself and them. Masks are required and social distancing is as well. Panda Hut has a good take out. Very reasonably priced and the portions are in line. Food is always fresh & hot. Panda Hut is my favorite spot for Chinese food in Lake Wylie. After trying this spot for the first time in November 2020, I was definitely impressed by how good it was. Being from New York, typically I have not been able to find Chinese food at the same level, however this establishment made me completely change my view. This place is VERY similar to what I've had in NY, and it does NOT fit into the stereotype that Chinese food in the south isn't good. The prices are also amazing for the high quality. read more

Have to agree with the customer that said the staff at this little restaurant is quite short on both communication and personality. Maybe it's because I always order ahead for carry-out to dine at home and the phone person I run into on the phone is always put out if asked for the order to be repeated for the sake of accuracy. Would only be another 40 minute round trip drive for me if they messed it up .. which of course would be no sweat off their behind. Usually order egg rolls to go with my entree selection and whoever is at the window taking my money always struggles with my request that a little sweet & sour sauce be included. Great little take out joint. There is a limited amount of indoor seating too. Be prepared to wait a little extra during the weekday lunch rush. I haven't had any major problems. One time I ordered chicken egg foo yung but received shrimp instead. I called the location to let them know and they told me if I wanted a replacement I would have to bring in the food along with the receipt. I didn't feel like driving back during evening rush hour so I returned the next day with the food and receipt and the young lady behind the counter told me she couldn't help me and didn't offer a reason why. The fried rice is boring and mostly white rice with soy sauce. Portions are large and a great value for the money. The fried items have a lot of additional breading. Well, I wanted some Chinese Food tonight so I called in an order. Don't expect a call to get too wordy. This guy was extremely clear that he doesnt want to talk. If fact things like repeating your order, getting your name, telling you the total, hello, good bye, or thank you will not be heard. Tell him what you want and click pretty much sums it up. Oh well, let's get the food home and see how it tastes. I would say it is right on par with every other place that is just like this. No need to drive any further than the closest one to you. They are all the same over fried and oversauced tossed together meals. I'd be willing to bet the employees and owners of these don't eat off their menus. That is the Chinese Food I want. read more
