This restaurant has Amazing food along with great service to boot, overall a 10/10 restaurant! The scenery inside is great as well!

I attached a photo showing just a small fraction of the people waiting for their food.

Ordered food Christmas Day at 4:45. Went to the restaurant at 5:40 to get my food. Waited till 6:15. I tried talking to a person at the restaurant but I couldn't get anyone's attention. Finally called them while at the restaurant. They answered.. told me 30 more minutes. I waited.. 40 min later I went into the restaurant. Couldn't get anyone's attention. Finally asked for a refund at 7:30...almost 3 hours later. They hadn't even begun cooking my food. So upset. And hungry.. and I don't even know if I got my refund! I will not be ordering again. If I could give no stars I would. Please don't accept orders if you can't fulfill them.

    Kung Pao Chicken

I had tried Big Wok more than 10 years ago and didn't think much of it, but have changed my mind recently. It's close to home and my previous go to place switched owners. It's a little place tucked in a shopping center with a Harris Teeter and next to a tanning salon. There's a few tables to eat inside as well. The menu has many Chinese dishes and hibachi. They also have a selection of appetizers that you don't always find at other local spots like steamed buns and shrimp and chive dumplings. I usually order online. Note I think lunch specials need to be placed at the store for the price. I've ordered a few things now and they do have some great food. The sesame chicken is the best I've tried. It's huge chunks of white meat and great flavor. Last night we had the Kung Pao chicken and it was very good. Chicken was tender, veggies were crisp and sauce was spicy and light. The plain lo mein is a hit for our little one. Egg rolls are also very good and come with a tasty spicy mustard sauce. I initially ordered bourbon chicken and thought it was just okay. Same with a lot of the appetizers. The dumplings remind me more of potstickers, not the thick kind I like. Also note there is an extra charge for getting brown rice or fried rice with a dinner entree. We'll order here in the future and will try more dishes. It's a good little go to place when you have a craving for Chinese.

I have become a loyal customer of Big Wok! This is probably my sixth time ordering the Hong Kong steam buns from this restaurant, and they have been perfect every single time. Their customer service is wonderful even when they are busy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Wish hours were posted before driving up here. Closed on Tuesday's?!

Not sure if they changed owners or what but the prices have gone up quality has gone down nowhere near what it used to be so disappointed that used to be my favourite Chinese restaurant

I got takeout DoorDash from here and I'm still dreaming about the shrimp fried rice--so full of flavor. My kids even loved their lo mein.

I ordered the sesame chicken dinner, wonton soup and an egg roll. The egg roll was soooooo small...super lint and little. I co my s from a place where one egg roll can be shared by two people. Thick and super stuffed. Forget that. It doesn't exist here. The mini egg roll was dry and you couldn't even tell what was in it. The wonton soup broth had a great flavor but the wontons were not fresh. They were gummy in a creepy kinda way. Frozen with freezer burn was my best guess. The sesame chicken was super super super OVERFRIED. Dry as a bone inside. This had clearly been pre fried and then fried again and dipped in a sticky sauce with weird texture. Kind of tasted like sesame chicken but the texture of the sauce and the dry chicken were disgusting. I spit it out. This place is a nicer version of Panda Express. We got there early and the place was already packed with folks ordering take out, as well as starting to sit for dinner. The service was not impacted whatsoever. We ordered appetizers of edamame, miso soup, and crab Rangoon which all came out quickly and was delicious. The kids easily split the sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein which is their absolute favorite. My husband ordered the super boost roll and said it was incredible. I ordered the rainbow roll and it was also perfectly done. We were all stuffed, and my kids are already begging us to come back again soon. We will certainly be back again soon to try something else since the menu has so many options.

Read the reviews, as of right now, they have 125 reviews with a solid 4 Star average. My favorite selection here is the Triple Delight with fried rice. All the ingredients; chicken, beef, shrimp and broccoli are fresh and taste great! They have a great selection on their menu, reasonable prices, great portion sizes and the place is clean and the Staff is professional and friendly. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served! I have eaten here many times and I have tried virtually everything on the menu. With that said, here is my take on it. Everything that I have tried has been delicious! For cold appetizers, I am a big fan of the Black Fungus W. Vinegar Sauce, Cold Spicy Sour Cucumber and the Spicy Beef Tendon. For hot appetizers, everyone raves about the Popcorn Chicken and I concur that it's very good! I really like the Frled Pork Gyoza too. For the main course, they have some rice dishes, but the main focus is the hot pot soups. They bring out a 300°F Stone bowl of broth (in an insulated pot holder) and the ingredients to put in it. You put the meat and lettuce in first, then the other ingredients and the noodles last then wait for "10 seconds"thus the name of the restaurant. I have tried all of the broths and they are all good depending on your tastes. The original broth is the bass broth. Then they add things to the other others to differentiate them. My favorites are the Tomato Soup (especially with Beef Flank) and Spicy Soup. If you like things VERY spicy, they can bring you some cut Thai peppers. The wait staff are patient are very helpful in guiding patrons. They understand that this is a new experience for them. They also pay attention to their customers eating habits. One time when I went in, they noticed that I added lots of chili peppers and chili oil to my food. That's when she said she could bring me some very hot fresh chili peppers.
