THE AROMA!!!! Smells so good in here! This is such a beautiful place and it was so nice and quiet until one of the customers came in here hollering at the lady behind the desk I swear she has to have the upmost amount of patience because this lady was literally talking to her as if she couldn't understand what she was saying saw the lady was literally sitting there explaining how she could understand her.... Then the customer proceeded to change your order for different times and got mad because there was a lot of confusion on why her order was $30.... That lady definitely has more patience than I do because I would've told that customer to decide her meal highlight or some thing and then come back...smh some people are so difficult for no reason... after she ordered she proceeded to talk on her phone on speakerphone...smh Anyway! Other than her (lady behind the counter) fantastic patients.... The restaurant was clean and every table had salt pepper and soy sauce there was no shortage of condiments that you may have needed or straws or napkins! I also was in love with the decor my favorite one was the giant blue orchid painting that was on the wall. As far as how the food tasted I ordered the vegetable seafood soup and it was very flavorful and definitely had an abundance jampacked of vegetables and some seafood. My daughter ordered the wonton soup and it was delicious she had absolutely no complaints. My son ordered the sesame chicken and fried rice lunch special and his only complaint was the eggroll was a little soggy with oil but that's normal. Definitely a good place to eat, beware the ignorant customers. Great staff, great customer service!

I wanted to provide an update as it has been 3 years. We still visit Golden China as our go to Chinese restaurant. I still think it is a good go to option, but I still feel like they are not 5 star amazing. On our recent visit, we called in our order early as every time we go, it is busy. We were told a 10-15 minute wait. We left shortly after the call as we are about a 10-12 minute drive from this location. Unfortunately when we got there, it was still a wait, about 10 minutes. Not bad, but still not on with what was quoted. This time we got: 1. Beef and Broccoli - we always get this one as we really enjoy this one 2. Garlic Chicken - this is another one we always now get. The flavor is very good and the veggies (broccoli, mini corn, peppers, zucchini, are great! 3. General Tso's Chicken - a small - like very small, kick to it. But that extra spice adds the extra flavor. Very good! 4. Sesame Chicken - I like this one, but I also wanted to order this with the General Tso's Chicken that we have been ordering previously to see which I liked better. I've always loved Sesame Chicken, but here, the Tso's is so much better, just has that extra kick. The Sesame Chicken is good, but I'm just going to prefer us to get the previous 3 dishes each time going forward. 5. Egg Rolls - standard, but good. Another enjoyable experience. They are still busy during COVID just like they were before. Only difference is that they are only doing take out and not allowing dine in at this time.

Look how fresh and golden these wings are !!!!! Fresh

I stopped by here one Monday evening after service, to get an order of wings combo and to my surprise! The food was fresh they cooked the wings right there , juicy inside nice and crispy outside ! I definitely recommend this place and will order from here again!!!! Update I've gotten wings here past 3 times now and let me tell you they are fresh and golden every time !!! No old brown wings here yalll

Plain lo-mein , egg rolls sweet &sour chicken and fried rice w 2 drinks. We ate for just under 25$ a ton of food and it was great.

My normal go to Chinese spots are currently closed right now so we decided to try a different place because my pregnancy Chinese food cravings are strong. So we found this on Postmates. Overall, not the worst Chinese food I ever had, but not the best either. It's just your average neighborhood spot. We ordered crab rangoons, a hunan chicken combo, boubon chicken combo and side of plain lo mein. And an order of wonton soup I plan on eating for lunch tomorrow. Rangoons were good. Not too greasy and decent taste. My bourbon chicken was okay. I was expecting a non-breaded chicken, but tasted like they were battered a little. And the sauce was a little too sweet for me, but I appreciated the veggies. The rice was okay. Not a lot of flavor and mine tasted a little underdone. I did eat some lo mein and loved that. Nice thick noodles. The egg roll was also okay. I prefer to have a bigger roll with more filling. Hubby had the hunan chicken and thought it was okay. One good thing. The portion sizes are huge! So you do get a lot for your money. I'd eat here again if my other spots are still closed or I was looking for a cheap lunch.

The food had no flavor. We had high hopes with the decent rating it had, but were sorely disappointed.

Golden China was my go to place here and there. Are the previous owners gone? Saw many new faces and the food was different in flavor. Not bad at all just not what I was used to having.

Since I moved from NYC I have been desperately searching for REAL Chinese food. Lee Cafe came…read morehighly recommended by another NayC transplant so I figured I'd give it a go. I ordered the sesame chicken dinner, wonton soup and an egg roll. The egg roll was soooooo small...super lint and little. I co my s from a place where one egg roll can be shared by two people. Thick and super stuffed. Forget that. It doesn't exist here. The mini egg roll was dry and you couldn't even tell what was in it. The wonton soup broth had a great flavor but the wontons were not fresh. They were gummy in a creepy kinda way. Frozen with freezer burn was my best guess. The sesame chicken was super super super OVERFRIED. Dry as a bone inside. This had clearly been pre fried and then fried again and dipped in a sticky sauce with weird texture. Kind of tasted like sesame chicken but the texture of the sauce and the dry chicken were disgusting. I spit it out. This place is a nicer version of Panda Express. If you like Panda Express .....bless your hearts than you might love this place. Those of us who have been exposed to amazing Chinese food at super cheap prices are not loving the Chinese food offerrings here in the Carolina's. Yuck

We got there early and the place was already packed with folks ordering take out, as well as starting to sit for dinner. The service was not impacted whatsoever. We ordered appetizers of edamame, miso soup, and crab Rangoon which all came out quickly and was delicious. The kids easily split the sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein which is their absolute favorite. My husband ordered the super boost roll and said it was incredible. I ordered the rainbow roll and it was also perfectly done. We were all stuffed, and my kids are already begging us to come back again soon. We will certainly be back again soon to try something else since the menu has so many options.

Went to eat with my coworker who recommended this place as serving authentic Chinese cuisine. I…read morecould not pass up that opportunity as Asian cuisine is in my top three. It's very rare for me to do a review and not have pics to accompany it but from entrance to exit I don't think I liked my phone up once. Coworker's company was great but the food really made for a great experience. In addition to that having my coworker speak to the culture of the food made it all the more appreciated. I definitely can't say enough good words about the food and the service and the overall experience. Five stars is all I can give but if there were more this restaurant would well deserve it. Next time I'll have to get pics

Great authentic Chinese Hot Pot place! The food is fantastic and the service fast and efficient…read moreplus the atmosphere is cool! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served! I have eaten here many times and I have tried virtually everything on the menu. With that said, here is my take on it. Everything that I have tried has been delicious! For cold appetizers, I am a big fan of the Black Fungus W. Vinegar Sauce, Cold Spicy Sour Cucumber and the Spicy Beef Tendon. For hot appetizers, everyone raves about the Popcorn Chicken and I concur that it's very good! I really like the Frled Pork Gyoza too. For the main course, they have some rice dishes, but the main focus is the hot pot soups. They bring out a 300°F Stone bowl of broth (in an insulated pot holder) and the ingredients to put in it. You put the meat and lettuce in first, then the other ingredients and the noodles last then wait for "10 seconds"thus the name of the restaurant. I have tried all of the broths and they are all good depending on your tastes. The original broth is the bass broth. Then they add things to the other others to differentiate them. My favorites are the Tomato Soup (especially with Beef Flank) and Spicy Soup. If you like things VERY spicy, they can bring you some cut Thai peppers. The wait staff are patient are very helpful in guiding patrons. They understand that this is a new experience for them. They also pay attention to their customers eating habits. One time when I went in, they noticed that I added lots of chili peppers and chili oil to my food. That's when she said she could bring me some very hot fresh chili peppers. Charlotte is truly blessed to have so many great authentic Chinese body shops popping up all over town! I highly recommend this place! Cheers!
