Shrimp fried rice with added sauces and two egg rolls

Absolutely amazing food!! Cleared my plate entirely and cannot wait to come back for more!! Great service and a chill atmosphere too!

Stepped out of my comfort zone a bit to visit these friendly folks! Wanted to support them since I'm a big fan of Shine Nails next door and they share owners. They were so welcoming and the food was out of this world. The ramen I picked was exactly what I was craving somehow! Can't wait to go back and be a little more adventurous. Would love to see some noodle dishes on the lunch special menu.

I stand by my 5 star review of this amazing place! It remains consistently good for food and service. We went on a Saturday night, while the restaurant wasn't slammed packed--there was a steady stream of patrons for dine-in and take out meals. (Worry not, it's just as good to go!) We started with the spring rolls with two cute bowls of peanut sauce. My entree was the pho with flank. It's basically the most comforting meal that I can think of! The broth is hearty and beef forward, the noodles are perfectly cooked as is the meat. I've had all the options and I think steak is probably my favorite! My husband tried something new--the beef bulgogi with kimchi. He loved it! There were large green onions cooked in, he said the kimchi gave it a nice acid flavor which enhanced the meat. As a little dessert treat, you get a Madeline cookie! What's not to love?!

Service here was lovely, my waitress was kind and attentive. Food was served fresh and promptly. The inside was bright and inviting with calming music playing. I really enjoyed everything that I had from here. The spring rolls with shrimp were fresh and cold and served with a flavorful peanut sauce that had actual peanuts sprinkled on top, my favorite! The egg rolls were served with a chili like duck sauce and were hot right out of the fryer, best way to have them! I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen, which was delicious. I did feel like it lacked a bit of flavor though and was not as pungent as I was expecting. Next time I try out this place I plan to order some Pho. Today I was particularly in the mood for ramen though. One other thing is that the ramen claimed it had wood ear mushrooms in it and it did not come in my broth.. I will return here though to try other items :)

Tried this restaurant while in town for business. The spring roll was excellent, likely the best I've ever had. The peanut dipping sauce was wonderful! I ordered the Pho With Steak, Meatball & Flank for my main course. One of the best Pho broths I have ever had! And the portion size was perfect for me and I was really hungry! The service was very fast and friendly. Will definitely eat here when I visit again.

When I lived in Asheboro years ago I was always wishing for some authentic Asian restaurants. Pho Huong Thanh has authentic and delicious Vietnamese food. We were driving past Asheboro and decided to stop here for lunch since the reviews were so high. The owner and another staff member were so sweet and provided great service. They offer a daily lunch special so we ordered the vermicelli with sausage. We also got the fresh spring rolls and a taro milk tea. The spring rolls are to die for. The sauce is delicious and the pork inside was so tender. The noodles were so good. The portion was huge and I really enjoyed the sausage. I have never had taro milk tea and it was awesome as well. The purple color is pretty. I can't wait to fo back and try more of the delicious food.

The food here is good. Everything is fresh and made to order. The service is good, you may have to wait a little longer than expected because the business is short staffed. The ambiance is nice as well. I ordered shrimp fried rice, and it had a lot of flavor. The only thing I'm not a fan of are the prices. I paid 17.07 for just shrimp fried rice and nothing else. For the amount of money I paid, I could have gotten a combo somewhere else along with a drink. However, I don't want to complain, but overall, my experience here was good. Next time, I will get something worth the money spent.

I think the lady that gave this place 3 stars just likes to complain. This place is absolutely wonderful. The food is always amazing and fresh. The service is so friendly and attentive. It's an enjoyable experience all around.

Steak pho, toppings (Thai basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime)

We are so lucky! I am so grateful to have amazing Thai and now Vietnamese here in Asheboro. It's one of my favorite foods and they nail it. Really really fresh. Their fresh spring rolls are genuinely perfect and their peanut sauce is one of the better ones I've had. I love their tableware/glasses. They don't use styrofoam which I can not stand in their Togo's. Everything is immaculately clean and bright. I don't love televisions being on, but I understand some people enjoy that. The pho broth is a tiny bit light, but so clean. So fresh. Veggies so fresh. Exactly what I needed on a rainy day. Got the steak pho, fried tofu spring rolls, and a hot green tea. So, so happy with this place. Definitely adding them to my Rolodex of go-tos. Service fantastic they were very sweet. Can't wait to try their vermicelli, which I wanted so bad but had to be good and get soup today. A+

Chicken ramen

Food & service during lunch was amazing. I ordered the chicken ramen...oh it was so delicious and I ordered a green boba tea with lychee. Wow!! I was really amazed that Asheboro even had Pho', so I certainly recommend!

Overall, this is definitely one of my comfort spots!

The ambience is clean, cozy and dimly lit. We were one of about 7 to 8 tables present in a restaurant, with only one server working. Even then, we were promptly serviced, and didn't have to wait a long time at all for our food Altogether, we ended up ordering one order of shrimp egg rolls, one order of veggie egg rolls, one order of shrimp summer rolls, two beef and meatball pho, one combination pho, and one chicken pho. Everything was brought out piping hot, and of course, the pho herbs, condiments, and veggies were super fresh and served in abundance The eggrolls all came out hot and fresh. The wrappers were perfectly crispy on the outside, and the filling was fresh on the inside. I did not taste the summer rolls, but everyone said they were excellent. I personally had the combination pho and wish it had a little bit more meat. I would say the amount was less than at other Vietnamese restaurants, but overall it was still really delicious and filling. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the broth was perfectly seasoned. The total for the table was only $75, which I felt was reasonable for four people and the amount of food we received. Overall, a solid Vietnamese restaurant in Winston. I look forward to returning in the future.

I really wish Winston Salem had a great Banh Mi available. There are some good Pho restaurants but…read morethey don't serve Banh Mi usually and when they do it's not quite the authentic version I'm looking for. I had the Banh Mi at What Da Pho in the past and remember it was good so that's what I ordered this time. Additionally we ordered crab wontons and summer rolls. The restaurant is a little hidden but if you park in the parking structure adjacent to the restaurant it's super easy to get inside. First impressions are it's quiet- no music in the dining room, and the decor is sort of an afterthought with scotch tape holding LED lights to the walls and some Asian inspired pictures but not very well thought out. It's Ok, I'm not coming for the decor. The service is a little lacking. They are giving the bare minimum here so don't expect your server to be too friendly. The crab wontons and summer rolls arrived quickly. The crab wontons were super hot and crispy right from the deep fryer. They were filled with a delicious imitation crab and cream cheese mixture and when dipped in the sweet chili sauce they were exactly the thing I was craving. The summer rolls were equally as fresh and delicious. The filling of cold rice noodles, crisp lettuce and shrimp then dipped in the accompanying peanut sauce was just as delicious. We ordered one pork and one beef Banh Mi. The first thing I noticed was how plentiful the meat was in each one. Usually it's a light sandwich but these were very hefty in comparison to others I've had. My meat was very savory and had a very tender texture, almost like pot roast. It was also the juiciest pork I've ever had in a Banh mi. The picked vegetables were also really good but both our sandwiches were missing the jalapeno I've come to expect. My husband really enjoyed his beef one as well but we both noticed how the bread lacked that crusty flaky quality that Vietnamese baguettes normally have. This was more of a sub roll with a chewy texture and softer crust. The flavors were great, I just missed the textures I have come to expect in an authentic Banh mi. Our spot in Greensboro will still be my favorite but when I don't want to trek out that far, I can get my fix at What Da Pho.

We grabbed a few of items from the trays in front to tide us over sat down to eat those and made a plan to run to Super G Mart then come back. We always get the shrimp summer rolls and they were amazing as always. I just love them! We tried some mochi dumplings which had a paste type filling. I liked the flavor but the filling texture wasn't my favorite. We also got a gelatinous rice stuffed with pork and wood ear mushrooms wrapped in a banana leaf. The filling was nice but the texture was again something that wasn't my favorite so my husband got to eat it all by himself. We got a Che(dessert in Vietnamese) from the reach in refrigerator that was delicious. Later, we came back for Banh Mi. We ordered the #4 with Pork and the #5 New Orleans which was chunks of more savory roasted pork. The two Banh Mi were similar but when I tasted the meat it had distinct flavor differences. I loved both of them and would not hesitate to order either in the future. Earlier in the day, the line was quite long and the tables were full of happy customers. Later when we returned, it was less crowded but still a steady stream of people coming and going. Kudos for how hard these guys work because they never get a break.

Ordered the bbq beef sandwich and an order of spring rolls with their peanut sauce. In addition to the fresh ingredients, the bread is still quite tasty. I do enjoy the bbq flavor of the beef, just enough jalapeño slices to give a bit of spice. The veggies are a good balance of crunch with the bite. You can always order the bread to take home if you're a fan as I am. I decided to grab the Thai tea as well. Overall a nice lunch, and happy the service is as I recall.

An unassuming place from the outside, but a great interior space that is clean and inviting. Couldn't believe how fast service was, and how fast the amazing food came out. It was a weekday lunch, but it filled up quickly, and the well oiled machine was running smoothly in here. The food is top notch. Started with a fresh spring roll that was full of flavor. It was huge, no skimping here. And for $2.50 it's a steal. Went with the lunch shrimp pho for $11.50. Everything for lunch is $9.50-$11.50, and the rest of the menu is also well priced. I couldn't believe the size of this lunch portion. Whoever said size doesn't matter in regard to food is kidding themselves. And the size wasn't the biggest surprise...this was one of the best pho dishes I've ever had! The separate plated bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeños, and lime were unbelievably fresh. The beef broth was full of flavor (choice of chicken broth as well), shrimp perfectly cooked, and noodles delicious. I can't say enough about the extra chili crisp sauce on the side. This is gold. Took the flavor to a whole other level. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. The fresh roll, filled with shrimp, noodles, and cucumber, was crisp and paired nicely with a peanut sauce. The banh mi's baguette didn't reach Banh Mi Saigon levels, but in fairness, nothing does. It was still a tasty sandwich, offering plenty of beef and toppings (pickled vegetables, cilantro, and jalapenos) alike.
