The manager is rude and disrespectful They messed up my order. I ordered $37 worth of food. One order of shrimp Fried Rice gluten-free. Because I have a gluten intolerant, then another dish of chicken fried rice and neither dishes came with sauces. It was on a cold snowy day. DoorDash, I called to complain....fried Rice is nothing without the yum yum sauce and neither one came with the sauces. He told me things happen get over it. I was livid. I told him that is bad. Customer service, and he told me I could take my business somewhere. People BEWARE of the disrespectf and lack of value for customer appreciation. They must have changed cooks. The quality of food has gone down over the past few months. We dined in in early September, and had carryout today. The General Tsos chicken was meh both times. After moved to Tega Cay.. Red Bowl become a place for food. They offers Beef Chow Fun. Which is alway 5/5 stars. The textures to the flavors were on point. I also normally ordered the gyoza. Either fried or steamed.. both are good. Customer service are alway great. It seem as tho.. I keep getting the same waitress. She's alway nice. On any given day. It's never tooo too busy. The restaurant have alway been chilled and casual. I haven't tried much. Kinda stick with what I know. I'll try new dishes when I go back next time. read more

l'll just be very honest here of course, if you're a person with discerning taste in authentic Chinese food, like if you know the lure of China Town NYC and that's your thing, this is not the place for you. It's not bad don't get me wrong but it's very Americananized, heavily laden on the overly sweet sauces with way too many American vegetables like greens peppers, etc., a far cry from better choices like Lee's Cafe in Fort Mill or Great Wall off Carmel Road behind Carmel Commons shopping center in Charlotte, or Wan Fu or Bao Ding in Charlotte. My rating based on taste is really 2.5 stars, a bland + notch above your typical to-go strip mall Chinese joint, but I'll go 3 stars because the people are nice and the atmosphere for a sit down dinner if you live close by is convenient, clean and pleasant. Ambiance is ok, never many customers in there at lunchtime. The reason for lack of customers "could" be the Asian girl that waits on tables and serves food! She is, without a doubt, the worst you could ever encounter!! No warm greeting, no smiles ever, ......seats you, plops menus down, what to drink, she says, no smiles ever! You say, thank you, she just turns and walks away. Brings drinks, same drill! Comes back, you order, she turns and walks away, says nothing! Brings food, plops on table, you thank her.....says nothing, turns and walks away! Never comes and checks on you or your drinks till you're ready to leave, then asks, you want more drink? Finally brings ticket, manages to barely crack a "ok tip now" smile! Not only am I not gonna tip her surly ass, I'm not coming back....ever! I've always really enjoyed my outings here since the quality is usually pretty good for a fair price. They also seem to give out frequent deals and specials.
