The absolute WORST Thai Food we've ever had. The House Rice had 4 shrimp and very little chicken. The pad woon sen beef was as tough as leather! The sesame chicken was so bad it went straight into the trash! How this place has 4 stars is beyond me. I was very happy to hear that Thai Fusion is back open for dine in. My wife and I visited and enjoyed a great experience. We had the Tom Yum soup and the crab rangoons for a starter. Went to Thai Fusion restaurant last Saturday. We were waited on immediately by a friendly and efficient waitress. The restaurant is lovely. Very clean, with beautiful small orchids on every table. I love orchids. Also enjoyed the background music. The food arrived quickly and was very hot. We had the appetizer of Veggie Rolls followed by Bangkok Chicken and the Sweet & Sour Fish. Finally back after many years. Just simply forget this place is there. Got takeout for me and the boys with the wife off on a girls weekend. I got the chicken rolls and Pad Thai Chicken with extra chicken and Level 4 spice (out of 5). The pad Thai was some of the best I have ever had. Noodles cooked to perfection, spices just right. I wish it had more heat. It was spicy but not as spicy as I expected. The chicken egg rolls were very good. I had some extra Chinese mustard packets at the house. Made for the perfect combo. So we recently moved to this area and have been try different places around. Thai house is close by, open during covid and now one of our favorite places in Lake Wylie. We've ordered a few times and usually get the same things: Pad thai House special fried rice Yes, we need to try other things on the menu for sure but let's get into what we have had! House Fried Rice $13: Chicken, Shrimp and Veggie fried rice with their special brown sauce (spice level 2). This is our FAVORITE dish and it is absolutely delicious. Guess that's why it's hard to try different things. Chicken Pad Thai $12 (no peanuts/spice lvl 2)): This one splits the house. Also to note, it does not come with the peanut sauce. There is an extra charge for that, $1. Never experienced that before. However, I tried theirs with and without I thought it was pretty good both ways. The peanut sauce adds the sweet nutty flavor and I would probably add it in the future. The regular way is good too. This dish is not one my husband likes and he's tried it both ways. He's had pad thai before and liked it other places. Appetizers: Crab Ragoon - Not too sweet, large portion and good Spring rolls - 2 per order, surprisingly large enough for 2 and comes with a sweet and sour sauce. Very good! All in all we will be back to try more! Service is always great. They're open for takeout during covid and our orders are always ready in a timely manner and fresh. Decent hours too. I moved to Lake Wylie in 2018, and started eating regularly at Thai Fusion. I am glad to see that they are open for lunch once again. I now live in Huntersville, NC, but I still go back to Lake Wylie from time to time. After a dental appointment, I stopped by Thai Fusion for lunch. It was like old times, as the owner still remembers me. We caught up on family, business and life in general. I ordered my favorite; Pad Thai with chicken, peanut sauce and extra sprouts. As fantastic as it always was. The leftovers for lunch the next day were superior. These are the kinds of families and businesses that we need to choose to dine with in a post-pandemic world. Went to this place for Dine in and then realized that they only do tame out. The lady who took our order was nice and helpful with choosing out of menu. We had a 15 minutes drive from the time we took out the order. Once came home, food was still warm. Soup was delicious and was not as spicy. Had yellow curry, by presentation it was not that appealing but tasted good. I wish they added some veggies in yellow curry without charging extra. Pad thai also looked too dry but tasted good. Noodles were bland and hardly flavored. Some strange mushy sauce covered the rest. Not spicy one bit, just a few pepper flakes sprinkled on top. I have never, ever had Pad Thai that looked nor tasted like this and I have ordered it from numerous Thai restaurants in Charlotte and outside of the area. Ick. We will never return to this place. I have posted the 2 meals that we ordered (yes it was takeout), and honestly, neither dish had any flavor. I ordered the yellow curry, and asked for it to be very spicy.. I could not even tell that there was ANY spiciness to it, at all. My husband ordered a noddle dish, and it had absolutely no seasoning (or the chicken we ordered) on it. It was a very slow night, so I don't see how our food got overlooked. We also ordered spring rolls, and they were the ONLY thing that we ate that night. We truly threw everything away. It was so bad tasting and bland, that there was nothing we could do to save it. This place was our go to Thai food place. Last night we were excited to see they have opened back up for dine in. Unfortunately, we were very underwhelmed, service was slow and sub par at best. We had to ask for water 3 times, the green tea honestly tasted like dish water. We ordered crab rangoon it had very little cream cheese and virtually no crab to speak of. I had Shrimp Pad Thai that was a bowl of sticky glop of noodles, egg and 6 shrimp. No sprouts, cilantro, onion, veg of any kind. This was such a disappointment. My wife had the Bangkok chicken another disappointment dry chicken, no flavor in a bowl of way too much sauce.
