Not my favorite. Some of the veggies taste like they were previously frozen causing juices to be super watery

I went back again last night. The portions are way too small for what you pay. The food was good just not enough of it.

Family has gotten sick every time we have eaten here. Service is terrible as well. It's not cheap either, steer clear.

Neat little spot in the Food Lion plaza. It's on the far end near Dollar Tree. Be careful where you park. The folks that frequent Dollar Tree don't seem to care about other people's cars. So, we park way out in the lot. Nagoya itself is fantastic. Our go to's are: Apps - dumplings, spring rolls and tempura chicken. Sushi - Nagoya rolls and California rolls. Main Dishes - anything Teriyaki or Hibachi. It is all so very good. read more

My husband and daughter love Nagoya's. She loves the sushi bento boxes. The food is always ready on time when I get there to pick it up. The service is usually friendly and everything you need is out for you to grab. I wish they would extend the menu slightly for those who aren't into sushi. They have a few things, but would love to see the menu extended a bit so I wouldn't have to grab their food and run over to China kitchen for mine. My only complaint is when they get busy it can take awhile to get through on the phones and sometimes it's easier to order when I get there and wait. All in all it's a great little place and it's nice to have a place that offers sushi within the Clover Town limits. read more

Is it the best Japanese food I've ever had? No...is it the best Japanese food in Clover.... I'm pretty sure it's the only one, so yes, lol. Honestly, it lacks a lot of flavor. I've seen a bunch of good reviews for this spot, so I decided to try it since I was in the area. I really wish Japanese restaurants would stop calling it 'fried rice' when they really just pour some soy sauce on top of white rice. I was hungry so I ate it but I won't be back. read more

Food is good, sushi isn't super cold when it comes out though. The last time we ate in the workers seemed like it was a project to be there and that's not very friendly customer service. I also noticed workers going out to vape and coming back in without washing their hands. read more

Absolutely 100% love this place. The food is so yummy and there are so many choices to choose from. The place isn't big so I always get it to go. The staff is always so nice and friendly and I've never had a interaction there to where when I left I was dissatisfied. If you're in clover definitely get some food here!!! read more

Horrible, if I could submit with no stars I would. I ordered hibachi chicken with rice and carrots as a side. Like other express Japanese places I figured I'd get some veggies. I got 10 pieces of chopped chicken at the most and carrots chopped big enough to choke a rabbit! This place needs to close down. Clean! Great food! Decided to stop in here on my way home was pleasantly surprised at how neat and clean the place was! Upon walking in my nose was pleasantly greeted by the great scents of the hibachi grill I got the hibachi chicken and it's fantastic! Highly recommend this place and so happy to have another great food option here in Clover! read more

Small little place is Clover with excellent food. Employees are always very kind. My kids favorite place to Oder carry out.

Prices are very good and on par with other express Japanese places. Clover isn't exactly the place you expect to get great food so don't come here expecting to have the best hibachi in the area. Both hibachi and teriyaki come with the same veggies. (Broccoli, zucchini and onion) I ordered a hibachi chicken and a teriyaki chicken, but I think they were both teriyaki as the seasoning was a sweet. I didn't like the flavor at all and didn't eat any of the veggies and only a couple bites of chicken. The veggies were rather soft like they had been boiled or perhaps previously frozen. The rice was decent, but the shrimp sauce too sweet. Maybe they are catering to a sweet palate here, but it's not a good fit for me. The staff was very nice and service was excellent. I do wish them luck and success because Clover needs more restaurant variety for sure. read more

Good Chinese for a good price, always prepared properly and staff is friendly. Location is clean and easily accessible. Best Chinese in the area. Sweet tea is a tad over the top sweet every time. I do like that they bring dipping sauce to the table. They do a lot of to go business. read more

Clean. Decent food. Plenty of it. I ordered the shrimp and chicken teriyaki. Came with Japanese fried rice which is fried but with nothing in it. No veggies. No egg. Veggies that came with the protein were sliced carrots. Onions. Broccoli and zucchini. All grilled on the flat top. Gave it a great flavor. Overall food was good. For something quick and not fast food. Also tried the salmon roll. Too much rice, but tasty for $4.30! I'd stop again if I'm in the area. read more

We are big fans of this place. Food is always perfectly seasoned, cooked and hot. We prefer this over Sake in Gastonia/Belmont. Food is never dry or as if it has been sitting long like other Japanese places. I've tried the sushi and it's great. Not sure if it is made onsite. I'm going to ask the next time I'm in. We like the hibachi steak cooked medium and it's always nice a juicy and never over cooked. Rice or noodles are a good choice. Love that veggies come with the Hibachi chicken and steak plates. This place is amazing! We always get the hibachi steak and shrimp - the steak is usually cooked properly, which you really don't expect from a to go meal. The shrimp are big and delicious. The veggies are always fresh and flavorful. I really like the rice too - it's much better with a bunch of their shrimp sauce poured on! My husband has had some of the sushi and said it was pretty good! They can get busy - so sometimes you have a wait to pick up your food, but the staff is always super friendly and accommodating. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the last 3 or 4 times we ordered, the food was definitely not as good as all the other times over the past couple years. Not sure what's up with that but hopefully they get that fixed soon. Still - the food is the best Asian To Go food nearby! read more
