I joined my friend, Linda, here for lunch and met the owner, Carly, who was super friendly. One look at the menu and I immediately knew what I wanted! I confess to doing a bit of a happy dance with every delicious bite. Erik's has ample seating inside and outside. An added plus, Carly and her crew keep this place super clean! It's located conveniently across the street from Target and there are plenty of parking spaces too. Forget any other sandwich place in and around Folsom and EDH...THIS is the sandwich place you are looking for. Go, order, and enjoy!

This place was surprisingly good with big portions. Will definitely come again to try other dishes…read more Food: - Spicy Wontons: spice level was perfect for enjoyment. It was good but the pepper had a hint of burnt so it gave a bitter taste to the dish. - Salt & Pepper Calamari: Not bad but not the best. It was fresh but may have been overcooked or cooked too fast since it was a little tough. - Salt & Pepper Shrimp: Flavorful and was better than the calamari. Flour coating was not too thick so it was enjoyable. - Beef & Broccoli: Broccoli were cooked well. They had a nice crunch. The dish was saucey but was not as flavorful as I expected. Also the sauce was not as thick as well. It was more running. - Fried Rice: It was good but not something to rave about. - Chicken Chow Mein: The kids loved the chow mein. It was better than expected. It had a light flavor that made the dish taste delicious. The noodles were not chewy, tough, or too soft. It was also not lathered in oil. As for the chicken pieces, they were tender and easy to chew. Service: Very friendly and attentive. They also welcoming and observant. That made things easy for us so we didn't have to ask for anything.

The broth was so delicious and the duck fell off the bone. Ingredients tasted so fresh. The chicken chow mein was the best chow mein I've ever eaten - nothing like the usual flavor in most Chinese restaurants, instead totally fresh tasting with a great spice taste. My wife had the Bahn Minh (?) sandwich/roll and, when she finished, said that she just wanted to start all over again. Really a great place. The restaurant itself is very attractive inside and immaculately clean and the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. I would make a trip out here again.

The disappointment has truly set in. I've been eating at Pho ABC off and on for many years, but the…read morequality continues to decline. For years, they've been the only consistent game in town, so they've had the market cornered. Unfortunately, it feels like they've gotten comfortable. The pho noodles routinely come out stiff, and when I request my steak on the side, it often arrives brown and partially frozen--sometimes still thawing from the freezer. The broth is weak and tastes mass-produced, they skimp on the limes, and the basil has virtually no flavor. The staff is friendly, but the service often feels rushed, like they're more interested in getting you in and out than creating a memorable experience. Even after seeing the same customers for years, there's little sense of recognition or personal connection. With Tran Kitchen Vietnamese now serving traditional, flavorful Vietnamese food in town, Pho ABC really needs to wake up and step up its game. Competition is a good thing, and hopefully it pushes them to bring the quality back to where it used to be.

Flexible. Bathrooms are clean. The pho: everyone in the family loved it and ate it up. But the one thing that was very awesome was that peking spare ribs. It's like the Buffalo Wing equivalent of this restaurant. The meat is on the bone but it is a very satisfying texture to rip off the bone. You will need dental floss after this meal but you will leave so happy and satisfied. I am still jonesing for these many days later. And also the green vegetables that they served underneath the spare ribs were amazingly fresh and crunchy. My wife was totally skeptical when I handed her the mini bok choy or whatever it was. But in the end, she was won over but how good the vegetable tasted. I think maybe the vegetables taste so good because the restaurant is in the same mall as ranch 99. Strategic advantage! Other things we appreciate it was the water was ice cold. And if you have little kids, the staff let you get a pizza next door or a little outside food for the toddler if that helps your kids settle in for a meal the rest of the grown ups deserve.

Remodeled to a modern ambience which I thought was simple and nice compared to other pho establishments. We started with Goi Nem Nuong (grilled pork spring rolls) - this was actually really good and served warm. We also grabbed the salt and pepper calamari. Batter was crispy, calamari was chewy but was a tad oily. Flavor was there. Pho N Roll noodles came up short. We order (2) special Pho (Dac Biet) and BBH in large size. Ordered a small Pho Tai Gan for our little one. While there was ample noodles and broth in portions, the flavor was lacking. Pho and BBH were both on the bland side. BBH was not spicy or savory. Most noodle options have 4 sizes (XS, S, L and XL) however the specials only have 3 leaving out XS which makes sense. Conveniently located with ample parking as it shares a center with ranch 99, Starbucks, etc. They have a really large menu! While we may not have loved the pho, there are so many other rice dishes to try! Until next time.

What I didn't realize was that "combo" mean that some were big full size drumsticks and some where wings and drumettes. I would have preferred the smaller wings. We just went with Original as our first try of the place. They make items fresh to order so it does take a bit of time to properly fry the chicken.
