Stopped by after in the early afternoon. It's located in the main level of Pike Place market. You order at the counter with the staff member. Staff were super friendly. There is an indoor seating area specifically for this restaurant. The area is also very clean. I ordered the lasagna. They informed me it takes 15 to 20 minutes for a lasagna order, it seems that they bake it individually. it was totally worth the wait. I was super pleased by the beautiful plating and the portion size. The lasagna was super tasty. Need to come back and try more things from the menu.

Food is excellent. Sandwiches waited months to try and delicious. Tried the Foccacia Tacchino and the foccacia rustico.

The Spezzanse (Calabrian sausage with rapini and cheese) was delicious. The sausage was perfectly cooked with a nice snap and the rapini helped cut through the fattiness pork and cheese. What a great find.

The sandwiches were solid and so were the sausages. Had the mortadella sandwich and their focaccia bread was delicious once toasted. Also had some chorizo to take home for breakfast the next day and was also well seasoned without being overly salty. There is some seating with wireless chargers for phones to use which is nice. Service was also friendly and fast.

I'm visiting from Cali and I would recommend trying this restaurant. The sausages are fresh and freshly cooked. The service was amazing. If you're in the area or not come try this place!

Great service and tasty sandwich. We had the Matteuccio Calabrese. Hit the spot! Nice and clean. Everything in their front display case looks really good. Will definitely go back.

I have been making quick work of the menu since this place opened in Pike Place Market. I've had the porchetta sandwich, mortadella on focaccia, and the meatball sandwich. All were amazing. But the sleeper on the menu is the lasagna, possibly a the best I've EVER had. They also have some deli items you can order by the pound. I should mention this is a new sausage place in the same spot where Uli's used to be. The fresh sausage is made right there and they have a great selection of hot, mild, Italian, Calabrian, etc. I bought some of the Chorizo and the New York style sausage, which I can't wait to try, but have been too busy eating down the menu to cook.

Amazing east coast style sandwiches. Very meaty and delicious, loved the inclusion of rapping. Will be back

What a great find! Good amount of food for a fair price, split a sandwich with my husband and still full. Real quality ingredients, very fresh. Quick service and staff were so kind. Had to take it to go, but will definitely come back to dine in, seems like a perfect spot to eat and people watch in the main area of the market.

You have to try the Calabrese!

This new Italian sandwich shop in Pike Place Market feels like a true local gem and a genuine slice of Italy in Seattle. Having traveled to Italy many times, I can honestly say the flavors are authentic. Simple, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Add in the friendly staff and fast, efficient service, and it's a spot locals will keep coming back to.

The best sausages I've ever had. Really. No kidding. The sausages here are the bomb. Great in anything but especially as a dog.

You walk in and order at a self-service kiosk, and there are plenty of options to customize your pasta. You can choose from different pasta types and sauces, which makes it easy to build exactly what you want. We ordered the short rib pasta and the carbonara, along with a cannoli for dessert. After ordering, you seat yourself and they call your name when the food is ready. We had no problem finding a table for two. There seemed to be a lot of takeout orders coming through. Both pastas tasted fresh and were cooked al dente, just as advertised. The carbonara was creamy and flavorful. The short rib itself was good, but the pasta and sauce were a bit separated, so the pasta didn't absorb as much flavor as I expected. The cannoli was very filling and had a hint or orange in it. Overall, it's a good spot if you're looking for quick, customizable pasta. Just keep in mind that it's more of a fast-casual place rather than a full sit-down service restaurant.

Three generations of the DeLaurenti family oversaw it until 2001 when three local Seattleites took over the reins for the past 25 years to date, Pat McCarthy, Matt Snyder, and Nate Plutko. I'm a Washingtonian since 1973 and have enjoyed seeing this at the corner of 1st and Pike. Numerous visits, but my most recent detour was on 2/16/26. I love gawking at the various sundries and specialty items available especially the chocolates, spices, sauces, olive oils, pasta, ad naseum. Just wander along each aisle, you'll understand and be inspired. Also, what an expansive meat and cheese case with knowledgeable staff for your charcuterie needs! Upstairs you can find a decent selection of wine and spirits and an apertivo spot to have a glass and a bite. I was full from my pasta bowl at nearby Pasta Casalinga, but was eyeing the charcuterie cone. Imagine tasty nibbles to snack on while wandering the rest of the market. Back on the main floor towards 1st Avenue, there's a busy espresso bar and where one can get an Italian panini or pizza slices to go. Highly recommended while at Pike Place Market. Buon Appetito!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I read about…read morethis place prior to our trip into Seattle. I tried for two weeks make reservations, with no luck. Finally a Monday night at 930 became available, I immediately grabbed it. They had a cancellation and actually called me see if I wanted an earlier reservation, which of course I jumped on that too. Appreciated they made the call and whoever cancelled. The ambiance gave old school and new school Italian vibes. The service from walking in to leaving was 5 star. Everyone was friendly. Our server was very attentive, and he was very thorough with explaining dishes and making recommendations. They started us off with complimentary rabbit pate on a crosstin with balsamic drizzle and fresh bread. The rabbit pate was very good. We started off with some cocktails, The paper plane, negroni, espresso martini and bello bandito. No complaints there. For food we tried the Insalata di cicoria - Chicory salad. It was topped with gorgonzola crumbles and pomegranate seeds. The salad was paired perfectly as the Chicory is on the bitter side. Next up was the Tajarin con burro E salvia, which was a fine hand cut egg yolk pasta with cultured butter and sage. I love you can order half or full plates. This pasta was velvety, and full of flavor. I normally do not like a thin pasta, but I loved this one! Risotto di mais was up next. This was a risotto with fresh corn and tomato butter, this was by far the best risotto I have ever had. We only ordered a half, but my next visit would be a full! The flavors all shined through. You could taste everything with each bite, the Parmesan, tomatoes butter, sweetness from the corn. All the food was amazing, but this was by far my favorite bite! Protein we went with the trota con fagioli, pan seared trout with salsa fagioli and carmalized onions. The salsa fagioli was a creamy white bean like sauce. The fish was pan seared perfectly with great flavor. Loved it, skin and all. Ended the meal with a decadent torta al cioccolato, chocolate cake with gianduja moose, chocolate buttercream, hazelnut brutti ma buoni and luxury cherries. I am not a dessert eater, although this looked amazing, I didn't try it, BUT my dinner companions loved it. I would never come back to Seattle without getting reservations here!

Unfortunately, the food did not hit right. Here's what we ordered: Appetizer: Crispelle - Crespelle filled with taleggio & fig mostarda with roasted figs and walnuts: Tasted like a crepe filled with brie - just OK. Primi: Tajarin con burro e salvia - Fine hand-cut egg yolk pasta with cultured butter and sage. I see the potential but someone was heavy handed with the salt so it ruined whatever flavors were supposed to come through. Secondi: Salmone reale - Pan-roasted king salmon with sauteed chanterelles, crimini brodo and thyme oil. Again, could have been really great but the mushrooms & sauce were overly salty. I think I read another review that captures my sentiments . . . perhaps whoever was the chef that night fell short. I specifically asked if the head chef Stuart was there and they said no.
