I felt so lucky when my husband got us a reservation at Rezdora for my birthday this year. And it fully lived up to all my expectations. The ambiance, food and service was all fantastic. We didn't do the pasta tasting because I wanted to be sure I would have room for dessert. But we still got 2 appetizers and 3 pastas. Our favorite was probably the grandma pasta. Thought the tirimisu to end the meal was also a stand out.

Low-key vibes with dim-lighting and low-ceilings make Rezdôra a great spot for a cozy night out. Service was attentive and flavors of the dishes were enjoyable, but portions felt so small for the price. Cacio e Pepe in Emila salad was tasty but not particularly memorable. For pastas, we tried the Doppio Cappelletti in Primavera which had a rabbit filling and was topped with fresh spring peas, as well as the Pisarei al Ragù di Anatra which was in a warm, rich and comforting duck ragu. The dessert was truly the star of the show, I could eat that all the time, I am salivating about the Torta D' Oliva right now, mmmm!

Kind of hit or miss dishes at way too steep of a price. Hugo Mocktail - light and refreshing, not too sweet. Canollo - creamy and savory filling, with a crispy exterior. Spoja Lorda - nice al dente texture with a bit of cheese inside. The broth was savory, but also intensely salty, so I left most of it behind after I was through eating the pasta. Garganelli - really simple tomato and basil sauce with cheese on top. I found this pasta to be a bit on the soft side. Gnudi - a bit savory and definitely on the rich side, but overall fell kind of flat. Maybe more exciting if you love truffles. Taglioni - nicely done. Savory, with a well textured sauce, al dente noodles, and a touch of sourness. Collare de re - also nice and simple, great texture and a bit of sweetness from the thick balsamic poured over the top. The meal also ended with a little chocolate truffle that came with the bill. The pasta is a bit hit or miss, but really does taste homemade with a strong eggy note. I wish the menu came in at a lower cost - the bill was around $140 after tax and tip.

Well it was a real Italian restaurant but it was totally different. It had things that a normal Italian restaurant has but totally different

This place is a MUST try if you are craving Italian cuisine in Manhattan. As a Michelin star restaurant, it was truly incredible. Ambiance is romantic. Not too much seating, but offers a cozy vibe. There is a nice size bar as well Everything about the food was amazing. The chefs were kind enough to send out complementary Parmesan cannolo w porcini, Mushroom puree w/ roasted maitake, and a sorbetti. Everyone was attentive to a dairy allergy we had at the table, and accommodations were made! APPS: - The bread is to die for. You definitely need to try it! - I loved the gnocco fritto. The dough is so light and airy, and the meats are so tender and fresh. It's a perfect appetizer. PASTA Now onto the pastas - outstanding! - The cappelletti al brasato di manzo e tartufo nero had so much flavor and the braised beef was juicy and tender. The truffles were definitely the cherry on top :) - The strozzapreti wasn't my dish, but I did get a try, and it was delicious. The pasta was nice and thick and the sauce had amazing lobster flavor. MEATS - The cow grazing sirloin steak was delicious! So tender, filled with flavor. Ours was cooked to medium and it was perfect. - the Stinco di manzo was so unique but incredibly delicious. There was so much flavor. It was soft and the balsamico sauce kept it so juicy. DESSERTS - the cioccolato was exactly what you would think when you hear the word chocolate! So rich in flavor but it was amazing. - sorbetti was so refreshing after a lot of eating. The blood orange and basil combo is unique but a must try.

very overpriced and generally not worth it. olive oil cake was delicious as was the uovo raviolio but everything else felt so lackluster for a michelin starred restaurant. upon finding out this place had a star my reaction was "oh so they are just giving stars out to anyone these days". service was alright, the bartenders were nice. ambiance was average new york dark vibes. i can say that ive been here but i dont see myself realistically coming back

Loved the food here. Ambiance was great at the bar. The service was also very friendly and great. The food is definitely expensive but everything was good. The free mushroom puff pastry in the beginning was yummy. And then we got the focaccia and the vegetarian gnocco. The focaccia was not what I expected but it was very yummy. I saved some to go with my ravioli later and worked great for soaking up the egg yolk. The gnocco wasn't what I expected. I thought there was going to be more cheese inside. However I still liked it and it was fluffy. The ravioli was amazing and my absolute favorite. The egg yolk inside was perfectly cooked and the mushroom sauce was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately thought the pasta was a bit too thick. The squash dessert was beautiful and yummy. Not what I expected. The texture of the mousse was perfect. However the mousse with the cake together was just too sweet. We waited about an hour and a half to eat at the bar on Friday evening.

The last time I've been to Rezdora was a few years ago when restaurants had those make shift outdoor dining spaces. I had never went inside as we had only dined outdoors. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the restaurant is as there's a backroom, like a split level house. The front space is cozy with the low celing and moody lighting, but the back feels airy with the skylight. We got a cozy corner booth in the back, so we didn't feel cramped. The tables are pretty close together, especially in the front dining area. We went for brunch on a Saturday and I didn't realize the Grandma Walking in the Forest dish is only available for dinner. My fault for not checking the brunch menu. We ordered two apps and two pasta dishes. We enjoyed the salad and the mushroom and truffle on focaccia. The focaccia app is a pretty hefty, bready app, quite filling. The salad was refreshing with tons of shaved cheese. Unfortunately, service was a miss that day. After we finished the apps, the server asked if we were ready for dessert. We chuckled and said that we would like to try the pasta dishes. A busser came to clear our app plates and utensils, but the table wasn't wiped even though there were visible crumbs on the table. After a bit of wait, a runner came up to bring our pasta dishes and noticed that we did not have silverware. So he went back down the steps to get the silverware, holding the dishes. After a couple of minutes, another runner brought silverware then the dishes were put down. With a few minutes of delay and the runner going up and down the stairs with the dishes, the pasta dishes had lost quite a bit of heat. After we finished eating our lukewarm pasta dishes which was cold by the end, I saw a lady across from me eating a pasta dish that had steam coming out. With a dish that's supposed to have yolk oozing out, lukewarm temp was a turnoff. Also, who enjoys eating lukewarm seafood? Positives were the raviolo's pasta sheet was tender and thin and my spaghetti was perfectly aldante. However, $42 for ONE raviolo, you'd expect perfect execution and a bit more sauce. Please note that it's not that large of a dish, so I don't recommend it for people who like to feel full after a meal. Also, the server who took our order never appeared to check on our meal. She came twice - to take our order and to give our dessert menu after the meal. Since they are charging fine dining prices, I expected the service to be on par. Perhaps we will go back for the grandma ravioli, but not likely anytime soon.

Really surprised they have a mischelin star. Service was average at best they took forever to give us our entree and our server didn't explain the non veg options thorough enough and recommended a dish with egg in it for our entree. I can eat eggs but other people at my table couldnt and is now feeling sick otherwise food wise portions are small but unique. favorite was definitely the solo ravoli with truffle on top. Burrata was pretty good too but the bread pairing was quite oily but indeed delicious we ordered as well the squash ravoli and the pistachio ravoli. both had a dessert like sweetness but were perfectly al dente. they gave amuse bush in the beginning that was a little too bready and the complimentary dessert at the end was also fun little chocolate pieces i unfortunately wont return or recommend to people with dietary restrictions but i recommend to friends who are non veg!

    Pastas (gluten free)

New favorite restaurant!! The apps were phenomenal (fennel & nectarine, mozzarella & prosciutto, caccio e Pepe salad), we were licking the pasta plates clean (the gluten free pasta was very good), and the dessert was amazing - the Parmesan & balsamic gelato was heavenly. Service was excellent - friendly, professional, and my water glass was never empty. Cozy atmosphere and great soundtrack. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Another one of those places I went to because of hype. I didn't have high expectations because of other reviews and the experience is generally what I anticipated it to be. Good pastas, but small portions and overpriced. Nice for a date night where you want to splurge. Cute cozy ambience and exposed brick walls, I approve. The pasta names are too long and I'm too lazy to type them all. If you read the Infatuation article, I have to disagree with it on some of its advice. The gnocco fritto was so boring, skip it. It looked exciting but once I bit into the bread, it deflated into a sad piece of like, pita. The grandma walking etc was my favorite pasta. Intense leek and mushroom, and I don't see leek being the main flavor often. The uovo raviolo could have used way more truffle, as $42 for it is crazy. The anolini was a snooze-fest. One note parmesan. The doppio was actually quite novel - I would recommend for beet lovers. All the pastas were on the very al dente side and I would have liked slightly less. The cacio e pepe salad just tasted like a caesar and on top of that, we had to chop it ourselves, so a no-go. Also, for 4 people we were very NOT full after all of this, but we decided to cap our $ losses and go elsewhere. Service was good and we stayed for maybe 2 hours without getting the boot. I do feel dubious about the value for price. But hey, if you want a pleasant, romantic dinner this could be for you.

The first time we came here, it was a last minute late night reservation. We weren't sure how it would go. First impression it seems a little crowded with tight seating. We were blown away... our server was actually from Italy, he was GREAT! The pasta.. all made fresh in house. Out of this world. Whatever you do, if you go here, GET THE OLIVE OIL CAKE!!

It was the day of my graduation, and my mother and I decided to celebrate the day with a barely-clinched reservation for lunch at Rezdôra, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very traditional, warm, and inviting, and the service was just the same. We started our meal with the gnocco frito, 3 incredibly tasty pieces of fried dough with slices of prosciutto, mortadella, and guanciale on top, then came the pasta dishes. We decided to share an order of the tagliolini and the ravioli, and they were incredible. My experience here cemented Rezdôra as my pick for the best Italian food in NYC by far, and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Can I do the pasta tasting menu if my reservation is at 10pm? Says it takes 2 hours and rezdora closes at 10:30.

Yes, we were able to do the tasting menu with a 10:15pm reservation.

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the 'dining room' and 'indoor dining' options when booking on RESY?

Not sure but guessing it's the same, they have a way to communicate on their site I would shoot them a note.

Are their kids options on the menu or are alternatives offered?

Didn't see any in writing. Maybe if you ask. Crowded and noisy, unusual food.

Can you get in for lunch without a reservation?

They have a bar and you can try to get a seat at the bar. But it's a good idea to have a reservation or go on an off hour.

    Is restaurant Toddler friendly?

I wouldn't recommend. It's dark, intimate, and small - tables are very close together.

Is it warm enough in the heated outdoor dining to eat without a coat on?

I haven't eaten outside there but based on other diners not wearing coats I would say, yes!

Do they offer any vegetarian pasta on the lunch menu?

    Yes they do . Multiple.

Do they have heating lamps for outdoor dining?

They didn't as of 1 month ago, but that might have changed by now!

WOW WOW WOW The sugo was uncomplicatedly made come lo fa tua nonna. None of the heavy Italian American traditions. All so delicious adding their own twist.
