    Gramigna Giallo e Verde

Apparently it is very hard to get a table during dinner hours, so I snuck out of work and solo dined here during lunch hours. Although the lunch menu is a bit different and didn't have Grandma Walking Through Forest In Emilia, I made the most of what was available. I settled with getting the Gramigna Giallo e Verde ($28) which comes with slow braised sausage ragu "in bianco". Overall a fantastic and delicious dish. Surprisingly filling as well. Service is fantastic, from what you'd expect from a Michelin Star restaurant. I was offered complementary champagne, which I turned down due to work, which I now highly regret. Another appetizer I was eyeing and I now regret not taking the splurge to try out was the Gnocchi Fritto. The table next to me got it and they had positive feedback pertaining to it. Oh well. If there's a next time I'll be dining here, I'll be sure to order it.

Super accommodating staff, I loved how they recommend ordering the 3 "G's" across the menu

One of my brothers and I didn't have any Sunday plans, and since it was such a gorgeous day out we thought it would be fun to grab some lunch. I did some quick brainstorming and remembered that I had Rezdôra bookmarked for a while. Lo and behold, they had an opening for their brunch service so I booked it and off we went. Rezdôra gained traction in recent years as being one of the more notable Italian restaurants in the city. It has a Michelin Star, and is most known for their pastas. The restaurant is kind of unassuming on the outside, sitting in the basement of a brownstone. The interior, like many Manhattan restaurants, is long and narrow with a bar towards the front with some banquette-style seating and a slightly wider space in the back. The decor is simple, almost casual with wood throughout the space and skylights which really add to the aesthetic. The menu specializes in cuisine from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Pastas are the star, but there are a few other mains as well as some starters and sides. We decided to start with two apps - both of which were recommended: the focaccia in primavera and the gnocco fritto. The latter were puffed dough which almost had a biscuit-like flavor to them (but were super airy) and topped with three different types of prosciutto. The former was a thick focaccia baked in a circle and topped with pecorino sardo and dressed greens. Both of these were great - super fresh and not heavy despite being carb-centric. For my main I couldn't leave without pasta - and I went with the verde on verde on verde. This was tagliatelle in a pesto sauce paired with green beans and small chopped potatoes. The pasta was good - super fresh with a good flavor without being overpowering. They also added pine nuts to the dish which gave it an added layer of texture. We also opted for a side of seasoned vegetables which were a good complement. We opted for dessert and decided to split two - the torta d'oliva and gelato al parmigiano. The former was an olive oil cake that was paired with ice cream and topped with a zabaglione- like sauce. It was delicious - the olive oil flavor came through and it was super opposite of dry. The latter was also really good - the parmigiano flavor was subtle but definitely present, and we had it topped with 12-year aged balsamic which elevated it to a whole other level. Service was good - everyone was super friendly, our waters were consistently refreshed, and food came out at a good pace. Overall, I had a great first experience at Rezdôra - they put out a solid offering of Italian food from a region that is not always showcased. My interest is piqued and I would definitely return for another meal.

The inside of Rezedora is so cute. We started with bottle of wine the sommelier helped pick out. Then we got the Parmesan cheese board and the cacio e pepe salad. Both were great. I loved how the salad had a bit of spice to it. The walking grandma pasta tasted so good. Tasted almost like French onion soup. It really stood out to us. And was one of our favorites. The ravioli was great too. It was filled with a sweet sauce and topped with truffles. The olive oil cake was delicious you could taste the olive oil and tasted like a high end olive oil. Definitely would recommend to people and would come back.

I came here 4 hours after eating at Torrisi, and the pasta quality at Rezdora was clearly another level. The grandma walking through the forest in Emelia had so many flavors and was the perfect pasta dish. I also loved their uovo raviolo di nino bergese, which was one of the best versions of that dish that I've had. Can definitely see why they have had a michelin star for several years as well as 3 stars in NYT. I will say that the music was a little loud during dinner, not sure if it is always like this? Service was great though.

I felt so lucky when my husband got us a reservation at Rezdora for my birthday this year. And it fully lived up to all my expectations. The ambiance, food and service was all fantastic. We didn't do the pasta tasting because I wanted to be sure I would have room for dessert. But we still got 2 appetizers and 3 pastas. Our favorite was probably the grandma pasta. Thought the tirimisu to end the meal was also a stand out.

Low-key vibes with dim-lighting and low-ceilings make Rezdôra a great spot for a cozy night out. Service was attentive and flavors of the dishes were enjoyable, but portions felt so small for the price. Cacio e Pepe in Emila salad was tasty but not particularly memorable. For pastas, we tried the Doppio Cappelletti in Primavera which had a rabbit filling and was topped with fresh spring peas, as well as the Pisarei al Ragù di Anatra which was in a warm, rich and comforting duck ragu. The dessert was truly the star of the show, I could eat that all the time, I am salivating about the Torta D' Oliva right now, mmmm!

Kind of hit or miss dishes at way too steep of a price. Hugo Mocktail - light and refreshing, not too sweet. Canollo - creamy and savory filling, with a crispy exterior. Spoja Lorda - nice al dente texture with a bit of cheese inside. The broth was savory, but also intensely salty, so I left most of it behind after I was through eating the pasta. Garganelli - really simple tomato and basil sauce with cheese on top. I found this pasta to be a bit on the soft side. Gnudi - a bit savory and definitely on the rich side, but overall fell kind of flat. Maybe more exciting if you love truffles. Taglioni - nicely done. Savory, with a well textured sauce, al dente noodles, and a touch of sourness. Collare de re - also nice and simple, great texture and a bit of sweetness from the thick balsamic poured over the top. The meal also ended with a little chocolate truffle that came with the bill. The pasta is a bit hit or miss, but really does taste homemade with a strong eggy note. I wish the menu came in at a lower cost - the bill was around $140 after tax and tip.

    Wonderful pasta dish with sausage!!!

Food and service were amazing, the ravioli with ricotta and egg is one of my favorite dishes in the city, I always try for reservations, any time a trip is planned to NYC... my last visit I did the pasta tasting for dinner and was wonderful!!!

This place is a MUST try if you are craving Italian cuisine in Manhattan. As a Michelin star restaurant, it was truly incredible. Ambiance is romantic. Not too much seating, but offers a cozy vibe. There is a nice size bar as well Everything about the food was amazing. The chefs were kind enough to send out complementary Parmesan cannolo w porcini, Mushroom puree w/ roasted maitake, and a sorbetti. Everyone was attentive to a dairy allergy we had at the table, and accommodations were made! APPS: - The bread is to die for. You definitely need to try it! - I loved the gnocco fritto. The dough is so light and airy, and the meats are so tender and fresh. It's a perfect appetizer. PASTA Now onto the pastas - outstanding! - The cappelletti al brasato di manzo e tartufo nero had so much flavor and the braised beef was juicy and tender. The truffles were definitely the cherry on top :) - The strozzapreti wasn't my dish, but I did get a try, and it was delicious. The pasta was nice and thick and the sauce had amazing lobster flavor. MEATS - The cow grazing sirloin steak was delicious! So tender, filled with flavor. Ours was cooked to medium and it was perfect. - the Stinco di manzo was so unique but incredibly delicious. There was so much flavor. It was soft and the balsamico sauce kept it so juicy. DESSERTS - the cioccolato was exactly what you would think when you hear the word chocolate! So rich in flavor but it was amazing. - sorbetti was so refreshing after a lot of eating. The blood orange and basil combo is unique but a must try.

Loved the food here. Ambiance was great at the bar. The service was also very friendly and great. The food is definitely expensive but everything was good. The free mushroom puff pastry in the beginning was yummy. And then we got the focaccia and the vegetarian gnocco. The focaccia was not what I expected but it was very yummy. I saved some to go with my ravioli later and worked great for soaking up the egg yolk. The gnocco wasn't what I expected. I thought there was going to be more cheese inside. However I still liked it and it was fluffy. The ravioli was amazing and my absolute favorite. The egg yolk inside was perfectly cooked and the mushroom sauce was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately thought the pasta was a bit too thick. The squash dessert was beautiful and yummy. Not what I expected. The texture of the mousse was perfect. However the mousse with the cake together was just too sweet. We waited about an hour and a half to eat at the bar on Friday evening.

Really surprised they have a mischelin star. Service was average at best they took forever to give us our entree and our server didn't explain the non veg options thorough enough and recommended a dish with egg in it for our entree. I can eat eggs but other people at my table couldnt and is now feeling sick otherwise food wise portions are small but unique. favorite was definitely the solo ravoli with truffle on top. Burrata was pretty good too but the bread pairing was quite oily but indeed delicious we ordered as well the squash ravoli and the pistachio ravoli. both had a dessert like sweetness but were perfectly al dente. they gave amuse bush in the beginning that was a little too bready and the complimentary dessert at the end was also fun little chocolate pieces i unfortunately wont return or recommend to people with dietary restrictions but i recommend to friends who are non veg!

Can I do the pasta tasting menu if my reservation is at 10pm? Says it takes 2 hours and rezdora closes at 10:30.

Yes, we were able to do the tasting menu with a 10:15pm reservation.

Hello I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the 'dining room' and 'indoor dining' options when booking on RESY?

Not sure but guessing it's the same, they have a way to communicate on their site I would shoot them a note.

Are their kids options on the menu or are alternatives offered?

Didn't see any in writing. Maybe if you ask. Crowded and noisy, unusual food.

Can you get in for lunch without a reservation?

They have a bar and you can try to get a seat at the bar. But it's a good idea to have a reservation or go on an off hour.

    Is restaurant Toddler friendly?

I wouldn't recommend. It's dark, intimate, and small - tables are very close together.

Is it warm enough in the heated outdoor dining to eat without a coat on?

I haven't eaten outside there but based on other diners not wearing coats I would say, yes!

Do they offer any vegetarian pasta on the lunch menu?

    Yes they do . Multiple.

Do they have heating lamps for outdoor dining?

They didn't as of 1 month ago, but that might have changed by now!

    Are there any vegan pastas?

There are vegetarian options but whether they are vegan not too sure. They use a lot of butter and cheese even in meatless dishes.…

    What is the dress code?

    Smart casual?

Is there a private dining room?

Not one that I am aware of

    Do they take walk-ins?

Restaurant recommends reservations but they keep bar seating open for walk-ins. It's a hot reservation these days but depending on the day of the week and the time of the day you might get lucky to get a table, otherwise you can enjoy your meal at…

Are they still doing the pasta tasting menu?

Hi Seth, Currently, we aren't we will be adding it back to the menu in the next month or so.

    Is it wheelchair accessible?

Hi Anna, Yes, we have two stairs down into the restaurant, but we have a ramp available. If you…

It was hard to find gps wise if you've never been there, I went past it by a city block. It's located in a gigantic plaza that you get to by the stairs outside. There was free wine in the elevator that you really couldn't see in (very dark) I didn't indulge in it the first time. It was pretty busy inside, since I was a party of 1, I asked if it's mandatory to sit by the bar and it wasn't. I was seated on the left side across from the bar at a smaller table by the window. At first I was bothered by the foot traffic behind me but pushed the table further in & felt better. Now for the food: I ordered the caramelized onion torta and listen it was wayy too rich for just one person, this is definitely a sharing appetizer for dare I say minimum 3 people. The richness was definitely overkill, I brought my own sparkling water but ordered an Arnold Palmer to calm down that flavor. While it had a good crust on the cheese and nice pastry on the bottom, I wish I had ordered something else. Quite expensive to not enjoy it (5/10). I passed on the vegetable part of the menu. Entree: Cavatelli Allo Scoglio, so delicious. I've never had that type of pasta in a dish before but it compliments it well, cooked to perfection. It comes with plenty of crab and the lemon zest balanced the dish just right against the acids of the tomatoes. (9/10) Dessert: I was torn if I should order dessert or not but what's a meal without sweets. They had plenty of gelato flavors but I decided to go with hazelnut and man I was not disappointed. BEST gelato I've ever had. It was so creamy and delectable that I still think about it to this day. The cup it comes in seems small but they pack it with more than you think. I almost passed on the candied hazelnuts on top but please don't do it lol, chefs kiss just perfect. (10/10) On the way out I was going to try the wine and grabbed a glass but again in the dark elevator I turned on my flashlight to see the cups there were all used. I think they should come around often to leave clean glasses or put up a sign to identify which are clean and which aren't. Overall I'd return for the entree and dessert and maybe try a vegetable option over the other appetizers. Also, props to my waiter for being attentive and kind.

There are numerous locations now in the city but this was my first time going and I was definitely eyeing it for awhile. They do weekday lunch specials of $14 pastas, boozey weekend brunches for around $24/25(not including food), and $12 Sunday dinner specials on entrees as well as happy hours on weekdays from 4-7pm that include: $7 snacks, $8 wine, $5 beer, $9 spritzes, and $9 wells. I happened to come in for Labor Day Brunch on Saturday. We both said we were going to do unlimited but honestly could only finish about a pitcher of mimosa and they only charged us for the one pitcher was the nice part. I went with Carbonara Pasta and my boyfriend had the egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich with fries. I'm not gonna lie, I've never gone to aycd brunch and have not finished my food but I could not finish my entree it was so massive and filling. I haven't had a pasta this rich in ages and it was so so good and I am all for not having those skimpy little portions. He couldn't finish his sandwich either. I tried one of the fries and it was nicely battered thick cut wedge fries. Maybe I haven't been eating out alot lately but I was legit impressed. The staff was wonderful and thoughtful. The cafe in itself is very cute and Italian with black and white marble in the bathrooms, white marble bar top, hanging plants, interesting light fixtures. I'm definitely going to make a point to come back soon.

I acknowledged that the server doesn't write the menu, but absolutely zero customer service skills. The service overall was lacking. Aside from taking our order, no one checked on us or came back to see if we needed anything. Our server was just hanging out chatting up the hostess. We had to request the bill from the manager & paid at the hostess stand. Before paying, I spoke with the manager and explained what had occured. He was more professional than the server, but he was still dismissive of my concerns and of the service we received. Management seemed happy enough to promote the "option". The interior was completely packed, and the noise level was high enough for my smart watch to complain. To sample a bit of everything, we shared two orders of focaccia, four pastas, and one dessert. HOUSE-MADE FOCACCIA - 10 Super bouncy with a bit of chew, this was probably the best focaccia I've ever eaten. It came generously drizzled with olive oil and alongside chopped peppers drenched in even more olive oil, which added a nice little kick. We highly recommend starting with this. TAGLIATELLE - 27 Out of the four pastas, this was my absolute favorite. I love the thin yet chewy texture of the tagliatelle, and the bolognese sauce was rich and hearty. Finished with just the right amount of Parmigiano, both the pasta texture and sauce were sheer perfection. PICI 'CACIO E PEPE' - 23 This was such a simple pasta, yet so delicious. It was incredibly creamy and cheesy, with hints of fresh black pepper flavor that blew standard at-home black pepper grinders out of the water. Despite it being the simplest pasta of the night, I enjoyed it immensely. RIGATONI - 32 This pasta was simple yet slightly innovative, featuring sausage paired with a broccoli-based pesto. There was a slight bitterness that was polarizing among our group. While this wasn't my favorite pasta, I appreciated the creativity. PERCIATELLI NERO - 35 This dish packed in more components than just pasta and sauce: plenty of crab, tomatoes, and crispy breadcrumbs on top. However, the combination wasn't very memorable. None of the flavors really stood out, and it was my least favorite pasta of the night. OLIVE OIL CAKE - 14 Served with a pile of golden raisins and fancy whipped cream, this ended up being a bit of a miss. The raisins were a bit too sweet, and the cake's texture was uneven -- some bites were soft and moist, while others felt dry. A couple of others in my group also felt the same way. Overall, I'd give L'Artusi a 4.5/5; it was mostly hits with a couple of misses. The pasta portions are quite small. Since each dish is primarily carbs and sauce, I'd imagine you'll likely need an appetizer or a pasta and a half to leave full. Still, I'd definitely come back for the focaccia, tagliatelle, and the cacio e pepe.

There are several places around the city that I feel can deliver a similar meal and experience without quite as much hype. That's not to say I didn't enjoy L'Artusi, because I absolutely did. It just didn't separate itself from some of the other really good Italian restaurants I've visited. Service was great, the atmosphere was nice, and overall we had a very enjoyable dinner.
