I scheduled a pickup and they never showed up. Emailed back and forth with them and they said they were checking into why. It's now been 4 days and they no longer respond to my emails. They have charged my credit card and now I have to file a dispute to get my money back. I would highly recommend not using ReSupply. Just a terrible experience all around, and a total waste of time and energy. FOLLOWUP: Chris reached out to me, and made everything right. Not only did he get the desk picked up today, he refunded my money and took care of the rest of the charges. Worst donation experience I have ever had. Not only did they charge hundreds of dollars to take away two pieces of valuable furniture, the person who came to my home was extremely rude. Truck didn't show up the first time with no notice or communication. Rescheduled only to recieve a text morning of that my pick up was cancelled which I absolutely did not cancel. Called and was on hold for 30 minutes the first time waiting for anyone to answer. Phone disconnected so I called again and waited on the line again for over 20 minutes. Had already sent texts as well to find out if the truck was coming because I did not cancel it. Finally got a response that they would look into it. After waiting almost 1 1/2 later and 2 hours past the start of the pick up window with zero news i finally pulled the plug and gave up and cancelled it. Not only did I never get a truck but the inability to communicate is serious. I can figure something out if I know what to expect but I cannot wait around and hope for service. If there is a time window and something changes do not communicate AFTER the time window. Communicate as soon as possible that there are delays. And do not cancel a service that was not actually cancelled. read more

Really unsatisfactory experience. Was attempting to donate a leather sleeper sofa to Habit for Humanity via ReSupply. On the scheduled pickup date, they showed up without the insurance certificate required by my apartment building, despite my numerous contacts with ReSupply customer service to make sure the paperwork was ready. On the pickup day, the hauler told me that charities don't take sleeper sofas (for sanitary reasons?) so all they could do was take it to a disposal site. The local ReSupply agent I spoke with originally to arrange the donation told me nothing about this. So I ended up having to pay ReSupply $250 to have the sofa removed and taken to a dump. I paid to confirm a pickup window between 12PM - 4PM several days before my pickup and on the day of my pickup I heard absolutely nothing from the haulers and the ReSupply team did nothing but "escalate my issue to the logistics team" after I canceled work and waited around all day to hear from someone about my pickup. I never heard anything back from the logistics team or the haulers they contracted, and now I will be charged hundreds of dollars by my property management company for junk removal. P.S. I don't want to hear any sort of apology from the owner of this business unless it includes an offer to reimburse me for the hundreds of dollars this failure of service cost me. read more

I wish I had checked Yelp before I booked these guys. They were awful. It's a scam. They let you think that they are going to take your items for donation and you even allegedly get to select that place you want to donate to. In the end, they take it to the dump. And they treat your items that way from the beginning. But since you pay up front, you have no recourse once you watch them trash the items you thought were going to be donated. I had an antique piano, which I declared in my initial estimate. They did not tell me ahead of time that they were planning to take the piano to the junkyard. I only figured that out as they mistreated it when they removed it. I warned them that you couldn't roll it relying on the little legs to carry the weight, that it would break a leg off. Of course they broke a leg off. Then they turned it on its side and dragged it across the cement to their truck, ultimately putting it in the truck upside down. They treated all my items similarly. I had many things that could still be used by someone but not after they mishandled them, ruining them. And they charged me nearly $500 for the privilege of watching my things be destroyed before they even left my sight. Find some other way to donate your furniture. These guys are fraudulent, in my opinion. read more

When I set up a time to donate a dining room set with 6 chairs, I had to pay $120 for pick up. I was never told I had to pay per piece. Needless to say I still have the table and chairs, too bad as it was going to Veterans. I do NOT recommend this company, very shady! read more

BEWARE! ReSupply was referred to me by Goodwill as I had some large items that I wanted to donate. ReSupply was supposed to pick up on a Tuesday but they texted me and said their truck broke down so it needed to be Thursday. We were moving on Wednesday so this caused some inconvenience but we worked it out. ReSupply came 4 hours later than promised and took the items. About an hour later, Stephen Hansen from ReSupply called me and said that there was pet hair on the dining chairs and that it would cost extra to clean them in order to donate them to Goodwill. The pick up cost that they quoted was $380 but Stephen said if I pay $500, they would do the cleaning. Which I agreed. The next morning, I received a text from Goodwill that the pick up had been cancelled by ReSupply. So not only did they not donate the items to Goodwill but they pocketed the additional money that I paid. Very dishonest! I asked them for the $120 back and I would call it square. But of course they ghosted me. read more

This was a terrible experience. No changes in what we said we were donating when scheduling the pick up. Exactly the same. They were told we live in a condo and there was a freight elevator. The crew arrived at 12:45 after the 8am-12am window. He came up with two young kids who did not respond to me when I spoke to them. He said he would have to charge us for trips up and down the elevator. That a bed ( as indicated in the app) was four pieces and the price would be 60% higher then quoted. He told me it would be $800, 60% higher than quoted on phone so that they can deliver for a charitable donation. What an awful experience!! I had to take a work day to be at our unit and the Resupply team who showed up late and wanted to bait and switch the price because I told them we needed it out quickly. Disgraceful to even associate yourselves with Veterans. Vets I know have integrity and don't take advantage of people and stick to their word. This is a racket. And this company is awful. Please do not use the service of this company!!!! I should have checked yelp before I made an appointment with ReSupply. I asked for them to pick up my queen size mattress. Before booking, I asked ReSupply customer service about whether a queen size mattress is categorized as a large item, and they said that a queen size mattress is a large item, but it might be considered an extra large if it cannot be lifted by 2 people. My mattress was easy to lift by two people. At that time, the estimated pickup cost was $138. Actually I booked another similar pickup service company. But after I checked ReSupply's estimated cost, I canceled the another one and booked ReSupply. This decision was totally wrong - I should not have changed! When ReSupply staff came to my home, he said the mattress is an extra large item because of its size and weight. Even though I told him that it can be easily carried by two people (I actually carried the mattress with my friend), he didn't accept it. Also, he said I have to pay extra $100 recycling fee! If the company needs that expensive extra cost, they need to tell that information before on their website clearly. We had to pay $272.64 for just disposing the mattress, including a booking fee ($18). It's much more expensive than the another company I booked before them. The another one even did not request a booking fee. I didn't have any choices but to accept their final estimate because I need to move out. This is a way this company does. ReSupply arranges for movers to pick up gently used items from households and to transport the items to donation centers such as Habitat for Humanity ReStore. ReSupply's employees and partners are often veterans of the military. About two weeks ago, I scheduled a pickup for a dresser. The dresser was large and heavy and on the top floor of my house. On ReSupply's website, I selected my preferred day for the pickup. The cost estimate for the dresser, which required two movers going down two flights of stairs, was about $164. Prices vary based on number of movers, number of staircases, any special equipment needed, and any disassembly with tools. (Please note that if your items are outside or near outside, such as in a garage, you can schedule pickup for free directly through Habitat for Humanity ReStore.) ReSupply communicated through emails, text messages, and phone calls about the appointment. On the day of the pickup, a mover called to inform me that he was about 20 minutes away from my house. Three licensed and insured movers arrived in two trucks, a junk truck and a U-Haul. Two movers were needed to carry my dresser down my stairs and outside to the U-Haul truck. The movers did a good job with carrying the heavy dresser and not bumping and damaging my walls. The third mover seemed to be a supervisor, and he processed my payment. Two of the three movers wore face masks, which I think are important during the pandemic. One suggestion that I have is for the U-Haul truck to be larger, because the two movers spent about 25 minutes removing and repositioning other customers' furniture so they could fit my dresser into the truck. Another suggestion is to update my pickup date in the emails and text messages, because my pickup date was moved up by one day, but I still received notifications about the original date. read more

I booked with Resupply for a large donation to Goodwill of Southern NJ and Philly as I was moving out of a 2BR condo and was donating most of my furniture and clothes -- a decision I assumed would mean my items would go to individuals or families in need. But that never happened, because the driver and company basically ghosted me THE DAY OF MY MOVE!! I scheduled my pickup a month and a half in advance. I received a confirmation email the day before. But on *the day of the move*, the company informed me that my driver wouldn't be able to provide a Certificate of Insurance (despite me asking for it and giving them instructions for it an entire week prior, and it being a very basic and common document required for any moving company); then the driver and the company COMPLETELY GHOSTED ME!!! I never heard from my driver at any point before, during, or after the supposed pickup window, and despite multiple texts, emails, and calls (during which no one would answer, or whoever answered would transfer me to lines that stayed on hold 15+ minutes, after which I just hung up), I was given no explanation as to where my driver was or what was going on. I even told them to not worry about the COI and send the driver anyway, but they never did. It completely threw off my entire moving day and forced me to make costly alternative moving plans -- for which I won't even be present for since my flight was the following day. This was the most awful and unprofessional moving experience I have ever had, and they STILL have not told me what happened or why. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! read more

They increased my price by double when they arrived. Because I added a small box or two and a bag of linens? All the furniture items, small couch, end table, microwave cart, wall hangings, all listed in original quote. It wasn't double the itms, double the weight, or double the time. I can't wrap my head around the justification for a nearly $400- price tag for what took 20 minutes to load. I feel like I got scammed hard. Richard from Dean's did an excellent job of explaining what the costs would be, going through everything in detail before starting the job. From ReSupply, I received good information about the cost and process and updates on when they would arrive. They were well within the time window and the guys were friendly, helpful, efficient and good at their jobs. They were prompt in letting me know when the items arrived at Habitat, and quick to provide a tax receipt and a payment receipt. I will definitely call them again! read more

I made a reservation THREE WEEKS in advance. I kept anxiously checking the app's progress with no driver assigned. They basically no called no showed during my 12-4 window frame and after calling 7 different numbers, leaving voicemails, chatting with bots, and email, someone finally called me at 3:52 to say it wasn't going to happen today (saturday) but they could on Tuesday in the afternoon. A new couch was being delivered specifically for an upcoming surgery Monday morning. Totally unacceptable and unreliable. They had three weeks to get a hauler. If I was renting and needed to be out on "x" date, that would have impacted my credit! Total lack of communication and accountability. They wasted my entire day hoping they "might" find someone. Only to be told initially they could do Tuesday or Wednesday the following week! Resupply, be better and proactive. It really screwed me over. I begged for Sunday, offered to do their job by contacting their vendors. I wound up finding a local person who was willing to help out someone who was in a serious pinch. I am still frustrated and recovering from the anxiety of this weekend which is why I waited until today to write this. Be better and do not give these people your business. You're better off renting a U-Haul and paying young kids to move and donate for you. Heck of a lot cheaper too. Oh, and the service rep after telling me they can't fulfill my order said it would be more expensive than the initial quote since my description was misleading? Laughable really. Have a better form so people are better informed as to what this truly costs. Transparency especially for a company that helps non profits is key. read more

My story is the same as many others who have tried to use them. They were very communicative at the beginning, then I got a message the morning of the pickup that the "assigned driver has encountered an unexpected issue with their route today. They are still trying to arrive to your location within your pickup window as planned, but we wanted to notify you of the possible delay so that the proper considerations can be made. If you prefer to reschedule, I am happy to coordinate this directly with the driver on your behalf..." I responded right away that we would be around so if they would be delayed, that was OK but to let me know when he had an idea of what time the driver would be there when he knew. I got no response to that message, we tried calling, texting, emailing and nothing. They wasted an entire day of our time. Again this morning we tried reaching out, no response to two texts and when you call, it goes to a voicemail. Also like many others, we chose to use them because it says they are veteran owned, and my husband is a disabled veteran, which is why we needed the assistance of ReSupply. They also charge a deposit and who knows if we will get that back but if they are charging a $8 deposit for everyone and they don't fulfill their end of the deal, that's a lot of free money that they are taking from people. It's too bad, a service like this is obviously needed but with much better and reliable service. read more

They intentionally hide the fact they charge you for pickup and advertise their service in insinuating there is no fee. I needed a large entertainment cabinet and 3 interior doors moved to Habitat. They quoted me $188. Turned out that the cabinet was in 2 pieces, unknown to me, no disassembly required, so that doubled the charge for that! I also added a ceramic pitcher and dinner plate sized dish. so they charged me $268 and expected a tip! Never again! read more

Updating. I was contacted by the driver (more than six hours after my scheduled time) to ask if they could still come for a pickup. At that point my furniture had already been picked up by a different company. Had the driver contacted me before or during my scheduled pickup window I would have proceeded with the later pickup. I can work with anyone as long as the lines of communication stay open. That said, I am very impressed with the responsiveness of the company's owner. I do understand that the subcontracted driver, and not ReSupply, was the cause of my complaints. I only hope that my issues can be a catalyst for a better experience. Based on my conversation with Chris, I am willing to give them another try when the need arises. read more

I called Goodwill about pick up donations. They connected me with ReSupply for the labor. I told them I had a leather sectional and was quoted $167. When the guys showed up they increased the price. In the end they said it would be double what I was quoted. They said they were just contractors working with Goodwill. Beware-it felt "off". This price increase likely happens often. FYI - they made me pay before they started the job, and didn't take everything I paid them to take. It's like a bait and switch - I had confirmed yesterday multiple times the hot tub would be taken, their reps told me they take everything and whatever the donation center doesn't take they will dump for me. I uploaded all of the pictures days before they were scheduled to come and when they got here, they told me they could not take a plethora of items and would charge me additional $$ - luckily I was able to price compare simultaneously and determined they were charging more than double what I could have someone else do to dispose of the items. First date they called an hour or so saying the driver couldn't pick up due to "unforeseen circumstances" then booked another day for me. Today 8/18/24 they was suppose to pick up and nothing. I waited and waited, nothing. No calls, text, email, nothing. I cant call the office since they are closed today (Sunday) so now im left here waiting. This is Margaret Riccardi. On 8/20/ 2023, I wrote a one star review. I received a message and subsequently a call from Chris M.. After hearing the entire story in a phone call, he was quite apologetic and understanding as to why I was first, concerned about the mover and his young nephew being trained properly and second, about the money being owed raised by $50.00 without my receiving a reason. Was informed later by the sub contracting company used by ReSupply that is was due to 2 flights of stairs and the double recliner couch being "unsellable"? or a word meaning that. Our condo has an elevator and the product fits in this elevator. Chris will check into all of the above especially the movers perhaps getting switched because he assured me that all the movers are properly trained. Resupply needs to do a better job communicating with and confirming that their 3rd parties are actually going to show up. I do appreciate that they continued to look for and found a solution. I wish I could give them zero. Choosing to pay a veteran owned business that Goodwill uses... so you're donating AND paying, but supporting which would be fine if the company had any interest in being reputable. First canceled on me for a pick up of a couch, loveseat, king mattress, and box spring originally scheduled for 8/12. Assured me they'd be here today, after I told them I was closing on my house this afternoon. After missing the window and two calls where I sat on hold, I was assured a call back and that they'd get someone here. Two hours later, I'm right up against my closing, on hold with these clowns and keep being asked to leave a message by an automated attendant. Only reason I scheduled was because of Goodwill working with them. I'll find every single social media sight and warn everyone not to use them. And BBB too. Completely unacceptable. read more

I am writing this to express my extreme disappointment with this service. We wanted to donate my mother's furniture to Goodwill in Monmouth Cty, NJ and we were forced to use this company. The only thing they did right was to show up for the pickup, however, they attempted to charge me 3X what they quoted me based on their own estimation calculator. I was quoted about $350 and they ended up billing me almost $1000. I contested this based on the fact that we actually donated less than we planned, and that their classification of charges per piece was vastly misleading. I eventually got a refund of about $300 after threatening to go to the Better Business Bureau and NJ State Governor's office (and spending a bunch of time debating the charges with a variety of people in their organization). The manager was excited to give me a partial refund - maybe they should've been reputable and honest upfront with their 'service' so I could've avoided it. Do yourself a favor, leave your nice furniture outfront of your house for free - someone will actually benefit from it (and it won't cost you a fortune). read more
