Had the pleasure of having Brian Merrill out to give us a few estimates. He was super helpful and wasn't pushy at all definitely will be giving him a call once we decide on which project to knock out first

The repair of my line from hot water tank to house. Yes all adaptors are new and blue pipe. That was the repair.

i had a pipe fixed and at first they did not have proper pipe so they had to leave to get it. But when done the price was way to much for the little amount of work they did. So i called and filed a complaint and the manager Nathan Shoemaker, Shoe, called me back and actually lisened to my concerns and how i felt. He gave me a refund and continued to talk to me about the company. He was such a great and professional person to me. He actually cared and wanted to be sure i was happy. He is the only reason i gave 3 stars or it would be 1. He himself is 5 star.

Upper pipe. 5" splice done by rotating tool in hand at each end of tiny holes and inserting splice. Less than 10 minutes of work.

Rooter Works overcharged about 400%, realizing I was having balance problems and am 92 years old. I had earlier been knocked unconscious and purse stolen. Rooter WorksLLC arrived instead of Roto Rooter,( which I thought I was calling, at $97.00 cost.) I got bill for $400 for ceiling pipe splice . Another $400 for clearing drain , which had been just cleaned by shower installer, but wasn't fully cleared. Rooter Works had that cleaned in less than a half hour with a hand held tool. I signed bill in confusion, but realized next morning what I had done and tried to correct it, but didn't reach them.

Unfilled divots. Washer sank into wet concrete.

The Rooter Work's quote actually came in on the low end for the replacement at least in my area.

Water heater problems Just moved into my house in Plain…read moreCity. Called Henry over at Plain City Plumbing. He remembered installing the water heater when it was brand new. (Also he had a sticker on it) He found several things wrong. Everything from the gas pressure was out of wack coming into my house. To the computer board. He spent some time diagnosing the problem. He then looked up the manufacture date, and found out it was still in warranty. He contacted the manufacturer and explained everything to them. He was able to get us a newer and better system for no cost. (Still had to pay for only a service call). Which is better than what a lot of the others were offering. I was glad to hand him the check. This is the quality work you do not see any more. Please look them up, he is honest and dependable. This is the type of company people would be honored to work for. Thank you.

We called a lot of places to gather info, but Plain City was the only company that offered to come out and assess the situation....to see if there was any way they could save us money by doing a repair rather than a replacement. The owner came out himself. It ended up still needing a replacement, and Plain City had the best communication with us. We ended up going with them even though they didn't have the lowest price, because they were trustworthy. Again, the owner came out and did all the work himself. He arrived when he said he would and took the time he said he would take. The work was completed on time, and he left the area clean. A really nice company that I would not hesitate to use again.

Of course I ran to the Liquide Plumber Max strength-Hey, strike two you are not supposed to do that either. Also the fumes will make your life miserable. I was SO afraid to call a plumber, I had NO idea what it might cost. I read great reviews about Foust and decided to give them a try. Meredith, who answered the phone was so incredibly nice. She worked with me to try to get someone out ASAP. Christopher arrived around 7:45pm. He was so nice, professional and took great care in making sure that my hardwood floor was protected from his tool and water. Well, the clog was a BIG ONE. But after about 1 1/2 hours of working on the sink SUCCESS!!! After he took his tools to the truck he came in to make sure that the sink and surrounding area was perfectly clean and even put my throw rug in place. I appreciated his friendliness, professionalism and attention to detail. And the best part! The price! I was so nervous to ask what I owed and was so relieved when I saw the bill. Hopefully, I've learned my lesson and won't need a plumber again anytime soon-but if I do..I'm calling Foust for sure!

I've not had a repairman as nice and efficient as this guy was! Amazing! AND.....he didn't have a plumber's butt and he had all his teeth! Lol. Then during appraisal it was found the outside line coming in needed updated due to deterioration. My electrician quoted 4k, but the listing agent contracted Apex Pros instead. The work was done April 28 & May 4, my closing was May 6th. (I requested constantly the results of the city inspection for my records but didn't receive that until much later, but that's a separate issue). The permit for the work was supposedly in Apex's system on May 21, 2026 but the city didn't receive the submission until June 1. The inspection was on June 3, 2026. The panel work and outside line all failed on 7 points. They didn't label the panels, they didn't ground the electrical work, they didn't include an external emergency disconnection, they attached too small a wire to too large a breaker (10 amp to 40/50 breakers). I waited 1 week for someone to reach out to me to schedule remediation. After 1 week of no contact, I called several times to reach a supervisor about the issue. I reached out to customer service, customer advocate, requested a supervisor. Finally on 6/12 I was told by the customer advocate that management had determined they only "failed" the emergency disconnect. And scheduled someone to come out on 6/15. I made sure they had my contact information from all the reachouts I had made. 6/15 no call but the same technician who did the initial work came at 10:24am (8-1 timeframe) and only replaced the outside connection to include an emergency disconnect. Still no labeling of panels or correction of other fail points. Finished around 3:30pm and left. 6/16 - finally got a response to my request for a supervisor and scheduled for one on 6/17 6/17 - The Quality Control Manager came out and documented the work. Assured me the work would be fixed as my request is that the house be safe! Currently if I were to use the stove and washing machine at the same time I could trip a breaker. Originally the same technician was to come out on 6/22 with a supervisor but due to weather we had to reschedule to 6/23. 6/23 - no call to me they showed up at 12:45pm (8-1 window) They again changed the external line. During their time here, the technician was verbally down playing what needed done, "Oh just change this and some minor things. I don't know why we need to do this" Questioning the reasoning behind the quality control manager's requests. I gave him the QM's phone number so he could call and get clarification. They finished/left around 4:45pm, but had not completed the grounding work. He did finally label most of the panels (but not all the connections) and he never did locate which breaker my kitchen ceiling fan was on. I did not receive a list of things they were to do to my property. I was hoping to receive one and even reached out requesting one, so I could ensure the technician did everything. They were scheduled to return on 6/26 to complete the grounding of my electrical system. I received an email this morning(6/26) at 7:51 am stating that they had reached out to the seller for payment for the additional work they needed to do to remediate the failed work they had done, but that they couldn't reach her. So they were pulling the permit and ceasing the work. In essence refusing to move forward with the remaining action items which included grounding the electrical. So they want to charge extra to complete the work they initially did that failed the city inspection and left me with an unsafe house. I will NEVER recommend this company for work. And in total, they're charging the seller twice what my electrican quoted for the same work, and he would have done it correctly the first time.
