The "post-immediate" timing for follow-up that was communicated to us did not match actual experience. It got done but not in line with what we were told. 2. While acceptable, the extent of services and resulting billing felt a bit excessive. *Our insurance company communicated with Roto Rooter to question some of the charges. * We later learned that Roto Rooter agreed to our insurance company's assessment, yet we were billed the original estimate (110% of what was agreed with our insurance company). * When we questioned the billing we had paid, it took over a month to get acknowledgement that we'd been overcharged. * We ultimately rec'd a credit for the overcharge, 10 days after it was promised and 3 months after the service was provided. While we were quite happy with the service we received, we were disappointed with the business practices.

I have been with this company for 12 years. They installed our heat and a/c. I have replaced the…read moreTrane heat exchanger twice and on a recent routine maintenance visit, they told me to replace it again. Something is wrong. Heat exchangers should last at least 10 years. I have been religious about my routine maintenance, never missing a single tune up in 12 years. However, I have been trying to get someone to call me back about this issue FOR THREE WEEKS. They say they tried to call me back but I have no voicemails and no missed calls. When you call their call center, they "escalate" the issue but given my recent experience, I would say that approach obviously doesn't work. I've been calling and emailing them and supposedly now I am supposed to talk to a guy named Tom who is the service manager in the Columbus office. This is after being told I need to speak to Dan, some other guy, who said I need to speak with Tom. I used to refer my friends to Logan, but not anymore. It's clear there is an underlying system issue causing repeated heat exchanger failures. Given that I've been diligent in service this unit, the problems stem from either how it was installed, the existing duct work (which they looked at when doing the install), the unit is sized improperly, or perhaps the gas is set wrong. I got all this from Google which is a hell of a lot more responsive than Logan Services.

When he came by my place, Jacob was kind and professional. He identified the problem quickly and made a plan to replace the disposal. I also had him look at the seal on another sink which was not what I called him out for. He did so willingly and was able to complete the repair. He charged an extremely reasonable price for both jobs and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. It has been a few weeks and the sink and disposal are better than ever. His work for us included replacing a toilet, ring, etc. as the toilet was leaking due to a blockage in the pipe. He had to use an auger and then as the blockage was deeper in the pipe, he had another machine he used. He did extra work, but only charged the price he quoted.
