Buckeye P&D installed a backup drain system with new promary pumo, backup pump and Moen level monitor and controller. This gives great confidence and allows me to monitor and followup on any warnings usimg the Moen app. I very highly recommend Buckeye P&D and the Moen backup monitor. I rate Buckeye Plumbing and Drains very high. I called them after discussing with a couple of others, to replace my 11 year old sump pump, with a new sump, backup sump and Moen smart sump pump monitor setup. The old sump pump (10 years old) was working fine but based on the expected lifecycle I wanted to be proactive. I already have a Generac 15 KW backup power generator (natural gas powered) so we did not need to put in a battery powered backup. The install took 2-3 hours. Absolutely super 100% job. Buckeye Plumbing & Drain came out next day (which was when we requested), did the work for a very reasonable price, and were both friendly and informative. Work was performed in about an hour, and Jim, our plumber, cleaned up when he left. Very good experience. Will definitely use in the future. Buckeye Plumbing was amazing to work with when I was in a bind. Our kitchen sink was old and was leaking, and I called so many companies. Not only were they willing to work with my schedule, but when I missed their phone call to give me enough time to leave work to meet them, they turned around. Jim was a pro and fixed my sink, in addition to removing the rusted hose that was stuck on our outdoor spigot. They were reasonably priced and just decent people all around. This company is unreliable- do not use. They no show/no called to a scheduled appointment for an estimate. We reluctantly rescheduled after WE called them about the no show. They showed to the second appointment, but were two hours late and didn't inform us they'd be late. Furthermore, the Buckeye employee showed up without any of the necessary instruments to investigate our issue and, thus, couldn't give us a quote. He said, "I'll be back sometime tomorrow." I asked "do you have an estimate when?" He said, "oh, it'll be in the morning." Spoiler alert- he never came back, nor did we receive a call about it. I strongly recommend avoiding this company for any services; if they can't follow through on a simple estimate appointment, they surely can't be trusted with actually taking care of your home's needs. read more

First time using Buckeye and these guys do solid work, offer fair pricing and are honest through the whole process. I will absolutley be using them again and telling folks to use them as well. I flew into town to help with some repairs at my mom's house, so my time was limited. I called to have Buckeye come out and give me an estimate on a couple minor things and a somewhat major waste line problem in my basement. They estimated the work at a fair price from the get-go BUT once Jeff came out and started the work he showed me right away that it was a simpler fix than the estimate. The price got knocked down by a third. Jeff could have stayed silent and billed me at the original, higher estimate but he instead showed me the problem, explained the fix and lowered the bill accordingly. Seems like Buckeye hires honest professionals and I will definitely be calling them first in the future. read more

Was having leaking water issues,had them come out to assess the issue.What started out to be something small turned in to something major(leaking stack).Had other things that needed repairing as well hot water faucet in the bathroom was not working they told me I needed a whole new faucet(went and purchased a new one Moen spent $170 on that purchase)turns out that all was needed was for the line to be changed.This company started off very good,then the line of communication just went away.Still waiting for the owner to return my call.Will not refer or use them again. read more

Very unprofessional! I told them over the phone exactly what I wanted done. The guy shows up not prepared and tell me he needs to pick up tools and parts and can come back tomorrow. I said OK let's get started. Next days comes and goes , no call no show. And next day, no call no show. I call the office again. Ask what's going on?? There technician forgot all about it. Bait and switch. Buckeye came out, looked at my shower - didnt touch a thing - just looked and said they could fix it for $350, which was the best price Id found. Although there were two small caulking tasks in my home that my brother in law could easily fix, I asked if they wouldnt mind doing that since theyd be out here for my shower. One of the two plumbers returned on a following day and did the two small caulking tasks, took him 5 minutes (and he left dirt in my shower from his boots) Then he gets back to the shower, puts a wrench on something, and then tells me the job cant be done for 350, its now $6-700. I said I was not prepared to pay that and he wasnt able to do the job that day anyways (even though he went and sat in his truck for 20 minutes to make sure he got in his full hour for being at my home) and he said he'd knock 90 dollars off of the price for his visit that day. I should not have paid, but Im a first time homeowner and this was a younger guy and I didnt wanna cause a scene, so I paid. I followed up with the manager Noel after that, stating $260 was a lot to get caulk around a shower handle and Id be happy with a partial refund or whatever - I would have NEVER called them out to spend 260 dollars so they could tighten a pipe and put caulk around a shower handle. But Noel said because on the second day, the plumber put his wrench on the shower head and then realized he couldnt do anything, they were fair to charge me. So why didnt he simply put the wrench on the shower head when he came out the first time? This is bait and switch and a crooked way of doing business. If they offer you a really good price on something and then see an opportunity to take advantage of you, they will. read more

I placed a "request for service " around 4am. Kevin responded on the website around 7am. I called his phone number and had to leave a voice mail. Kevin called me back in a reasonable time. We made arrangements to meet at my rental property at 10:30am. This may seem like a difficult process to set up a service call, but this was a Sunday morning! None of the other plumbers that Yelp notified responded at all. So, cutting to the chase, Kevin showed up, on time and with everything needed to complete the job (clogged drain line). Setting to work, he did all he could to preclude making an already messy situation worse. This was an old house with plumbing that is not necessarily to code so snaking the line was not easy. (As previous contractors proved.) Kevin worked until he got through the blockage and then kept going! He found that in addition to the total blockage, there was an additional constriction further out, in the yard. Most plumbers I have dealt with would have stopped as soon as the drains started to empty. In summary, Buckeye Plumbing is a plumbing contractor I can not only recommend, but THE plumbing contractor I will definitely use again. read more

They called back at 3pm and said that their techs got caught up with jobs that took longer than expected. They rescheduled for the following Monday. Buckeye Plumbing is terribly disorganized. The plumber I had from them brought his grandson and plumber was gone most of the time. He used poor judgement in where & how he arranged things; he took the easiest, NOT the best, way. He had to come back several times to repair his sloppy, incompetent work. He & his grandson kept putting their heavy tools on my GLASS TOPPED KITCHEN TABLE, leaving scratch's on the smoked glass. They also kept throwing their drills & tools down on my ceramic tile kitchen floor & cracked it all over. Cracks kept spreading-ceramic tile is completely destroyed now!! They also kept opening front & back doors every 5 minutes...during summer with A/C on. They had no schedule to work and no set time when they did. I had MD appointments that had to be rescheduled from waiting for them to show up. They left a mess every place they worked, left holes in walls to outside where cold air pours in. They tracked mud everywhere -refused to wear shoe covers. Plumber had terrible body odor, breath and was unkempt & unprofessional. I would urge all to avoid using Butler Plumbing!!! read more
