We searched on the internet and visited a couple of locations. Rock seemed to be pricey at the places we visited. Then my husband came across Darby Landscape Supply online. They seemed to offer rocks at a much lower price. They even had hours on Sunday, which was super helpful for us, seeing that our digging took us longer than planned. We hopped in our truck yesterday and drove down to Orient. When we pulled up we were greeted the only employee working as we were getting out of our truck. She showed me one type of rock that she thought would be perfect for our project. If I am honest, I did want some larger stone, but she said that they didn't have any larger stone available currently due to all the rain. It seems that they aren't able to get down and dig the stone when everything is so wet. Because of their incredible prices and us wanting to keep our project costs to a minimum, I went ahead and agreed to the rocks she suggested. She hopped in the huge backhoe, scooped up a literal ton of rocks and then carefully dumped that in the back of our truck. She was very careful with our truck with I appreciated. After she was done we went inside and paid her. For one ton of rock we owed her $35, I would saw we won. We were pleased with Darby Landscape Supply and would not hesitate to stop by in the future for either our rock or mulch needs.

We had a contractor do work on our house to repair the outside, bottom walls of our basement and they only completed 1/2 of the job. Although they finished the actual basement and outside wall work, they left our yard a total mess and never replaced the cement porch they removed to do the lower wall work. They were also going to do grading in the front yard to address puddling and never did, and they didn't do any of the landscaping they were supposed to complete. Our yard was a disaster. TCT Property not only did a wonderful job with the grading of our front yard, they also did all of the landscaping and seeding in the front and back yard, pipe work to address the puddling, and replaced the cement porch within about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 weeks. Their price was very reasonable, and they are professional and reliable with everything they do. I would highly recommend TCT Property Enterprises to anyone looking for a contractor.
