I purchased a house this spring, as part of the condition of sale the 2 outdated electrical panels…read moreneeded replaced and gfci outlets put near water sources. Then during appraisal it was found the outside line coming in needed updated due to deterioration. My electrician quoted 4k, but the listing agent contracted Apex Pros instead. The work was done April 28 & May 4, my closing was May 6th. (I requested constantly the results of the city inspection for my records but didn't receive that until much later, but that's a separate issue). The permit for the work was supposedly in Apex's system on May 21, 2026 but the city didn't receive the submission until June 1. The inspection was on June 3, 2026. The panel work and outside line all failed on 7 points. They didn't label the panels, they didn't ground the electrical work, they didn't include an external emergency disconnection, they attached too small a wire to too large a breaker (10 amp to 40/50 breakers). I waited 1 week for someone to reach out to me to schedule remediation. After 1 week of no contact, I called several times to reach a supervisor about the issue. I reached out to customer service, customer advocate, requested a supervisor. Finally on 6/12 I was told by the customer advocate that management had determined they only "failed" the emergency disconnect. And scheduled someone to come out on 6/15. I made sure they had my contact information from all the reachouts I had made. 6/15 no call but the same technician who did the initial work came at 10:24am (8-1 timeframe) and only replaced the outside connection to include an emergency disconnect. Still no labeling of panels or correction of other fail points. Finished around 3:30pm and left. 6/16 - finally got a response to my request for a supervisor and scheduled for one on 6/17 6/17 - The Quality Control Manager came out and documented the work. Assured me the work would be fixed as my request is that the house be safe! Currently if I were to use the stove and washing machine at the same time I could trip a breaker. Originally the same technician was to come out on 6/22 with a supervisor but due to weather we had to reschedule to 6/23. 6/23 - no call to me they showed up at 12:45pm (8-1 window) They again changed the external line. During their time here, the technician was verbally down playing what needed done, "Oh just change this and some minor things. I don't know why we need to do this" Questioning the reasoning behind the quality control manager's requests. I gave him the QM's phone number so he could call and get clarification. They finished/left around 4:45pm, but had not completed the grounding work. He did finally label most of the panels (but not all the connections) and he never did locate which breaker my kitchen ceiling fan was on. I did not receive a list of things they were to do to my property. I was hoping to receive one and even reached out requesting one, so I could ensure the technician did everything. They were scheduled to return on 6/26 to complete the grounding of my electrical system. I received an email this morning(6/26) at 7:51 am stating that they had reached out to the seller for payment for the additional work they needed to do to remediate the failed work they had done, but that they couldn't reach her. So they were pulling the permit and ceasing the work. In essence refusing to move forward with the remaining action items which included grounding the electrical. So they want to charge extra to complete the work they initially did that failed the city inspection and left me with an unsafe house. I will NEVER recommend this company for work. And in total, they're charging the seller twice what my electrican quoted for the same work, and he would have done it correctly the first time.

My neighbor down the street gave this company a recommendation. I trust her opinion so I decided to…read moregive them a try. Over the past few years I've had them: Unclog a bathroom sink. Had them provide opinion on repair of a double walled pedestal sink. (Repair vs Replace) Flush the hot water heater (and show me how to do it). Look at a leaking toilet tank. They are always professional and always helpful. Their prices have been reasonable too!

Horrible Experience! My problem is still not resolved. Randy still doesn't know what the issue is…read more He seemed to guess at what the problem was. He told me nothing more then what my handy-man told me less than three days before. He did not even quote me a price for the work, he just said it was going to be very expensive and he was with the company only two months. I wondered if I should have called another company, when I asked if he liked the company? He replied, "Oh my boss is such a cool dude. I guess that is a perk to the job coming in every day." Thanks for charging me $99 for Randy to walk up and down my steps twice, take a picture. Tell me I need to close my shower curtain better, buy a new flap on my shower. And tell me about his boss being a cool dude. I tried to give them another chance: I even asked for the manager. I had a J. Williams cell phone call me back. He NOT ONLY REFUSED my coupon he issued to me, because of my one star review on Google which was posted before, he gave me my coupon. According, to the 1st time stamp which I did immediately after I received the survey. He stated, he would personally come out to my house. Then when I asked him to shut off the water valve in my Grandson's closet to my water softener tank in the panel, and wait an hour, to see if the valve moved....because I cannot physically do this, and this would at least tell us if we have H20 in the house if it moves. If it does not move no leaks. Because, I cannot physically do with medical conditions I have. He REFUSED, stated, "You know what I can tell this 2nd trip will go badly. And just HUNG UP ON ME!" I tried to give this company a chance to make it right. After they texted me, saying they would make it right. So what they say in your home, on text message, and verbally on the phone / in your face ARE ALL DIFFERENT STORIES!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! THIS IS AN HONOST REVIEW! I have medical conditions and cannot physically do what they need to do, just to simply let me know if I have a leak coming from my home. They will charge you at least a $100 to $250 just to take pictures. Just Crazy! They could not even tell if my leak was coming from the upstairs or downstairs. So Ben Franklin NOT ONLY DID NOT HONOR THEIR WORD WITH MY COUPON THEY GAVE, THEY REFUSED TO JUST DO GOOD BUSINESS BY DOING THEIR JOB! THAT THEY APOLOGIZED FOR THE FIRST TIME! THEY STILL WILL NOT TELL ME IF I HAVE A LEAK IN MY HOME OR NOT....EVEN THOUGH, THIS IS THE WAY YOU FIND OUT.... JUST BAD BUSINESS! NEVER AGAIN! SO I AM LEAVING A BAD REVIEW! THE LADY IN THE OFFICE SAID THE MANAGER WAS TO BIG TO FIT IN ANY PARTS OF A SPOT IN A HOUSE AND LAUGHED ABOUT IT. She even stated, he may have to bring the one of two skinny associates working with the company back with him. To crawl in house. Just wow! SO UNREAL! GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE! At least she may have been the only honest one. Anyone interested in seeing my actual text messages feel free to ask. I intend on reporting this entire case to the BBB.
