Chris showed up a little bit early, talked me through the details of my kit installation (needed some adjusting due to the awkward location of my tub), and got right to work. He had a true eye for detail and was incredibly thorough - even cleaned up afterward. Before, my bathroom and tub looked horrible - and now, it's gorgeous! I chose him over a big company like Roto Rooter because I thought his prices might be better and I'd get better service. He came on a Friday to tighten up 2 rocking toilets and fix a small leak in our sink. He said he tightened the toilets, only one was actually fixed because after he left we noticed that the other still rocks when sitting on it. Chris informed us that he needed to order a part for the sink that would be in by Monday and he could return and fix it then, estimating the entire job to cost $250 which seems like a lot for tightening toilets (took him 15 minutes) and a leaky sink. But we were still willing to pay it. Monday came around and no calls, no show. I called and left a message with no response. Today is Tuesday and again I left a message with no returned call and he did not show up today. I assume that he has just given up on our job and won't be returning. I'm hoping that he doesn't expect to be paid for tightening up the one toilet and never returning because that's not happening. Do yourself a favor and call someone who shows up.

After being there awhile, he reported that it was a problem with the water heater and the repair would cost $2100. I was in shock, but stupidly, I trusted. He went and bought a part, installed it, and brought me a picture of pipes above the water heater that had a lot of rust and corrosion, and told me they needed replacement. Another $200. So I paid him. Later I checked the bathroom (he never went in there) and the faucet was stI'll running. The problem wasn't fixed. I called the company and was told there was no one who could come out. They would send someone the next day. In the meantime, my son got a friend to come and look, he diagnosed a problem with the faucet, got the parts and fixed it in less than a half hour. My son called the company to complain and asked for a call back. Instead they called me and said the repairman fixed something that needed to be fixed offered no apology or remuneration and hung up. BTW, my water heater was new. I think they saw an older woman, and saw an opportunity to make some money.

He even switched our 40 gallon out for a 50 gallon for the same price. I am very happy with the service.
