Called around 9:30am, and they came at 12:30pm. Ian was the guy who worked on our sink. He was super friendly, informative, and professional. After asking just a few questions, he identified the likely problem (clog in main pipe), got his tools, and got to work. He explained everything he was doing while he did it. Within 10 minutes, the clog was fixed and my sink was draining like new! They charged $130 for the service, which is on the lower end of estimates I've read online (saw $120 to $185 on Google). Came to resolve a sewer drain blockage issue as a home warranty service contractor. Cleared the clogged line but in the process discovered a disconnected fitting in the 4" pvc line with root blockage. Declined to fix the line when a quote was requested claiming he didn't have a hitch post on his truck to tow an excavator to reconnect it. (Sewer coupling was about 12" below grade) and his truck with the hitch was acting up. Didn't have a recommendation for another service to solve the problem when asked for referral. Literally, Ian hasn't left our driveway yet and I'm already on here to sing their praises. We have the absolute WORST luck with every single contractor we've tried using for any reason so we just expect they're going to be late (if they show up at all like another contractor earlier in the week) and it'll cost the high end of the estimate. He was polite, wore protective booties to not drag in dirt or scratch the floors and fixed the problem for smack in the middle of the quote. Great guys and great work!! Bathtub back up and they were the only company able to schedule me in on a Sunday. They were among other companies listed as available for emergency plumbing repair, but they were the only people that had a technician on call and couldn't tell they would have to wait till Monday to schedule me. Seeming like emergency plumbing repair also depending on A 9-to-5 work schedule. When they showed up they analyzed the situation, Offered me a few options. Allowed me to select the more affordable option, and continued to then proceed with the inspection and verified that they did the more ideal and cheaper, and less intrusive correction of this problem. And then recognizing that the initial install had violated typical protocol, they ran out to her a hardware store to make a modified intrusion into my system, in order to avoid breaking anything due to it being incorrectly installed by the prior owner or whoever did the work. At the same time my family was heading to the ER as they thought that we had some medical issues due to the plumbing backing up, and they were in and out within an hour and a half and then I was able to focus on my family. But they allowed me to resolve the issue and ensure that we weren't going to have a reoccurrence of the medical issue that we were currently dealing with. Our daughter has had persistent plumbing blockages for the past several years. The toilet would back up, with sewage rising into the adjacent tub and shower. She has tried several plumbing companies, who all rooted out the blockage. Only for it to re-occur in a few months. Her townhome is built on a slab, so all the lines were buried.
