Encountered a clog in my sink drain line from family discarding pasta. Rented a powered snake from HD, which ended up being defective. Between lost time and urgency, I needed to phone a professional. Drainmaster's reviews and location convinced me they were the best for this job. Additionally, 'drain' is in their name. I couldn't go wrong. Calling them around 2 pm, I fully expected them to come the next day or even two days out, preparing to spend fully $$$ on rental, cleaning, and fast food for the family. To my surprise, the scheduler was very kind and personable. She mentioned they were full for that day, but due to my near-shop location, they may be able to work me in. Sure enough, I received a call around 1600 with the drain professional (female!) about 19 minutes out. She arrived with her assistant (strong lad), and they began the work. I offered them shoe covers, but they had their own (I would have preferred they use my clean covers). After snaking for about half an hour, checking the drain length to the main stack, and confirming the flow with a leak test, they pronounced it clean, with a friendly smile. It was also good to see the workers getting along and working efficiently. It's not always the case with coworkers. I tested it myself once they left. Sure enough, it's clean! Final cost $280. Satisfied and happy customer here. If I have another issue like this, I will be sure to call. read more

We had a problem with leakage from kitchen to downstairs basement. I asked a realtor for a plumber and he recommended this company. The leak was a problem, and we needed new outer french drains. So plumber couldnt get the machine needed to dig for drain pipes, snd we found that up as he ripped up that part of lawn trying to get it through, so he dug by hand. In ripping up the grass/soil he damage our sprinkling systems we've had for over 15 years, we replaced that. I was uncomfortable about contacting these plumbers about this. Anyway this evolved, we had to get a restoration company to take care of potential mode along with damaged wallboard and wood. Realtor called this company because the basement drain was clogged and tp and other things were coming up. I get home to find my basement floor covered in feces and trailed throughout the house. I started cleaning up this mess with bleach and other things and using my own equipment to try and clean up foot steps and damaged personal items. And the clog is still there. My son asked them who was to clean the mess and they said it was between us and the landlords which may be true but jeez the mess they made themselves should have been cleaned by them. I called Drainmaster because they were referred to me by my warranty company, as one of their contractors. This call was for a drain unclog. I was happy that they were able to send someone out the same day. I got the quote for the job over the phone, and when the technician finished the job he stated the quoted amount. I then told him I was going to use an online coupon for 10% off . He said that he couldn't deal with the price difference, so he called the company and told the woman who answered about the coupon. She responded to him so loudly that I heard what she screamed! I won't repeat what she said, but it rhymed with clucking. "I wish they would say they're using a coupon when they ________ call ! I then yelled out that I could hear her, and didn't appreciate her belligerents. I won't be using Drainmaster ever again, because of her attitude. Although, I did get the coupon discount. Gonna let the warranty company know about the incident as well, because they contract this company. The technician didn't appreciate her screaming and cussing at him either. read more

Amazing! We had two plumbers walk away from our drain problem. Our 1950's home has equally old plumbing and we were having back-ups in our kitchen and toilets. Drainmaster/Dillon came out the day we called and when he needed help Charlie, the owner, came out to assist. They scheduled a 2 hour window and within the first 15 minutes of that time frame an employee called and said someone would be out within a half hour. Tina showed up on time. I was not happy with drain master all the way around. They came out, didn't fix my issue at all and took my email to send a receipt. I never received my receipt that I really needed to give my landlord. I called several times leaving several messages over the next couple months and no one ever picked up or returned my call. I called this company because I needed a faucet replaced, they were quick in getting the quote, they also were late both the times they showed up to my house and they didn't bother to inform you that they were running late. Then when the faucet was replaced in the bathtub, I noticed that the caulking was already cracking so I called them, and they have been ignoring my calls and not showing up twice as they promised. They charged my a $195 for this and I am getting frustrated because I can't even get a hold of anyone. read more

Came home from work Fiday night went down to my basement to wash some clthes and found a vey icky backed up sewer line all ovef my basement floor. Called Drain Master on a whim because they were close. A guy named Russell and his crew were at my house within 1/2 an hour and about 40 minutes later they had fixed everything and cleaned up the mess. This company deserves 10 stars. Receptionist is horrible to work with (unprofessional, unreliable, etc). I had countless issues with her trying to schedule drain work at my home for 3-4 days straight. Workers forgot appropriate equipment, never showed, showed late, etc all because she couldn't communicate with them correctly. The actual plumbers who came to fix my drain were absolutely wonderful though. I had a tough situation that was difficult to troubleshoot but they were dedicated and stayed until the problem was fixed. read more
