Called first thing in the morning and I had Mike Y show up before noon. Mike fixed our inside unit in less than ideal conditions. Had a good attitude, answered my questions, provided estimates for potential service work in the future, even voiced concerns for future issues that our unit from '09 is likely to face. He also managed to crack a few jokes while he was at it. No complaints. Will definitely keep them at the top of the list for when future issues arise. read more

Timothy, the owner, came out today to do an estimate for a new water heater after we had a flood in our basement from the heavy rains this past week. Another company told us to replace it because we couldn't light the pilot light, but he got down on the floor and lit it for us within 2 minutes of being at our house! We were shocked and of course thrilled to not have to replace the whole thing. We will be sticking with this company whenever we have issues from now on and will highly recommend them to others. For those unaware, HVAC stands for heating, *ventilation*, and air conditioning. I contacted the business about installing an attic fan and an exhaust fan. Both have electric already done, so the company would only need to do stuff within their wheelhouse. However, despite Comfort Crew advertising that they do ventilation, they refused to do the job. It's fine if that's not something they want to do, but I'm disappointed they advertised themselves as an HVAC company when they only do heating and cooling. read more

I have an older compressor/coil air conditioner that has a slow refrigerant leak. Today it needed the refrigerant topped off. The team made time to quickly reach me on the same day I requested the service call, diagnosed the problem, and had me back up and running in a very reasonable amount of time. Worst customer experience by far.. One of the workers put a cord in my cats food but the company backed him and said they wouldn't service me anymore after giving me a 10 year labor warranty? I'm happy not to ever see them again but I have to take legal steps to receive pay for multiple things that were stolen (an old filter, money and cannabis I grow at home).. I have spent so much energy trying to receive back whats fair.. not to mention them paying 6+ visits to fix a system they should have known wasn't functioning from day 1.. another company diagnosed the problem to be refrigerant and said they should have checked/noticed right after install!! I think they just wanted to go home because they were there for 12 hours (said it would be less than 8) and had problem after problem trying to install.. they pretended as nothing was wrong with my system multiple times when they'd come to check after it shut down due to overworking.. claiming they didn't know what was wrong if anything.. so I had to hire another team to confirm it wasn't installed properly.. also was not installed with a removable filter tray which another company said would have been simple to do.. then they tried charging me $300 to install a return filter grill?!? They claimed not to be able to install the digital thermostat that came with the new system and switched it for an old model.. I'm in a process of trying to get reimbursement for everything mentioned including an excessively high electric bills with over a months worth of an overworked system and have to take legal steps at this point... be cautious and do not be fooled as I was.. I was supposed to hire a family company with "comfort" in the name and accidentally set up with these guys.. worst mistake I've made in awhile.. unresponsive (completely forgot multiple times he was coming out to check/fix something and had me waiting all day).. unprofessional.. disrespectful.. and completely unjust.. the owner Tim was bragging to me about his "multimillion dollar company" after I mentioned I felt like I wasn't receiving what I deserved and paid for (tried to manipulate me into thinking he wouldn't change morals for money).. Our thermostat was not keeping the room temp to the set temp for several months. It finally quit. NO HEAT = Not good on a cold March day! Called for service and they said, We will have someone there before 4PM." Tech Mike was here in 2 hours! He was top notch! Checked the entire furnace and found the little fuse inside was blown. Very fast response and prompt service! Comfort Crew was the first business to respond to my service request. After chatting with Tim on Yelp, within 20-30 minutes later a technician was on their way to my house! My gas furnace was not producing any heat. Seth came in and explained what could be causing the problem and after doing a few things he got it up and working in no time. Extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable. I also had a new thermostat that I wanted installed and he was kind enough to do that too. I had a very positive experience. Great value too, what I was charged was reasonable for the work that was done. I was not left feeling like I was ripped off. I will 100% hire this company in the future for all of my HVAC needs.
