When he came by my place, Jacob was kind and professional. He identified the problem quickly and made a plan to replace the disposal. I also had him look at the seal on another sink which was not what I called him out for. He did so willingly and was able to complete the repair. He charged an extremely reasonable price for both jobs and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. It has been a few weeks and the sink and disposal are better than ever. Definitely recommend and would call him out again in the future.

The "post-immediate" timing for follow-up that was communicated to us did not match actual experience. It got done but not in line with what we were told. 2. While acceptable, the extent of services and resulting billing felt a bit excessive. *Our insurance company communicated with Roto Rooter to question some of the charges. * We later learned that Roto Rooter agreed to our insurance company's assessment, yet we were billed the original estimate (110% of what was agreed with our insurance company). * When we questioned the billing we had paid, it took over a month to get acknowledgement that we'd been overcharged. * We ultimately rec'd a credit for the overcharge, 10 days after it was promised and 3 months after the service was provided. While we were quite happy with the service we received, we were disappointed with the business practices.

So I contacted business on Saturday, spoke with Tim. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient and had excellent customer service skills. On Sunday, texted Tim to find out more information about Rheem models. He provided all the information requested, was scheduled for that Wednesday. The installation went smoothly. The technician repaired our system without advising us of the cost beforehand. When the technician handed my husband the bill, he told him there was a glitch in their system and it wasn't showing our membership, but that the office would correct the discount. Within 20 minutes, I called the office because when we signed up, the representative told us the membership benefits were effective immediately. I left a message and finally received a call back today (holiday weekend, understood). The manager, William, told me that the parts are cheap, but the prices are marked up to cover their business overhead and to allow them to "make a small profit." He also said that even though the technician noted the system glitch on the invoice, the price we were charged was the correct discount -- and that the "trip fee/service fee" was billed because it was part of the job that the system glitch for the total job cost. William also advised that the job cost is higher because it includes their warranty on the part and labor. When I pointed out that I'm essentially paying for everything they claim they're "providing," he told me, "It is what it is." I asked to speak to someone above him, and he said there was no one, even though he is clearly not the CEO. @Michael Swepston would love to share this experience with you and hear if this aligns with your corporate mission and values. I told him to remove me from the program because I'm not doing business with a company that pretends to offer discounts and benefits but charges me for everything anyway. He hung up on me. This entire experience has been dismissive, misleading, and unprofessional. Unless this is the kind of service you look to be provided, you now have my experience to help make an informed decision.
