Spoke with someone on Thursday evening, someone came out on Friday (late but it was communicated). Scheduled service for install on Saturday (TODAY) between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Well that time came and went with no communication what so ever. No text, no phone call, NOTHING! So I call ARS not once, not twice, but 3 TIMES. Got a different rep each time. The first and last person were nice. The 2nd person which was a male was VERY RUDE! Unnecessary rude at that, sir if I'm having an issue and it's not your probem fine but don't be a complete mean person about it. YOU are in customer service if you don't like your job FIND A NEW ONE! So each rep stated they were reaching out to a manager. So this manager has 3 messages to call or communicate in some way NOTHING. Well since you all are completely DISRESPECTFUL of my time and do not have COMMON DECENCY to at least reach out I've CANCELLED my order and WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! THANK GOD FOR ROTO ROOTER!! They came out within 30 minutes of my online inquiry TODAY and replaced my hot water heater TODAY!! You all should work on your approach to handling business because you are HORRIBLE!!! REVIEW UPDATE: Monday July 11, 2022 Jason reaches out to investigate what happened with my service. Come to find out a few things weren't done to ensure my order was completed appropriately. People didn't show up to work, etc. I appreciate Jason for his interest in making this right. Jason also compensated me for the frustration. Jason gets a 5-Star as he was a great person to speak with regarding my experience with this company. I will at least consider utilizing this company in the future. Thank you Jason for your professionalism, kindness, and care. You are a gem.

I quit calling knowing someone was coming. 4:15 received call i had to reschedule for another day. By then it was too late. No reasons, just cancelled. Sounded like a trustworthy call center team, but I would not trust ARS again - ever. Had to start over and lost a day. Low value and very very poor service.

I was referred to Zoom Drain by Transit and Flow for jetting and a camera inspection after a…read morebasement backup issue. The technician told me he could not get past 45 feet of line and suggested there was a collapsed pipe in my yard. I was verbally quoted a repair in the $6,000-$18,000 range. Before committing to a repair of that size, I obtained a second opinion. The second plumbing company cleared a blockage and provided video confirmation that there was no collapse or structural damage. Based on the major misdiagnosis, I requested a refund under their advertised 100% satisfaction guarantee. Communication was slow, and I was made to feel like the video proof I provided from the second company was insufficient (even though it was time stamped, dated, and I shared the invoice summary). I initially received only a partial refund. After multiple follow-ups and escalation to ownership, I was ultimately refunded in full. I'm sharing this so others (especially first time homeowners) understand the importance of getting a second opinion before approving major excavation or high-cost repairs. While the final outcome was a full refund, it required time and persistence to resolve.

Plumbing Service on 8/2/2025…read more I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the plumbing service I received from Zoom Drain on August 2, 2025. I contacted your company for three issues: 1. A clogged drain in my walk-in tub 2. A replacement for the tub's drain stopper 3. A small leak under the kitchen sink I was told there would be a $200+ service charge--regardless of whether any work was completed. That should have been my first red flag. When the technician, Eric, arrived, it quickly became clear that he did not know what he was doing. Not only did he fail to resolve any of the issues, but he also managed to make the situation worse. As for the simple task of replacing a drain stopper, I was told it would require an entirely separate visit. Seriously? This is unacceptable. I paid for a service and received nothing of value in return. There was no resolution, no professionalism, and certainly no reason to justify the cost. I trusted your company to provide reliable service, but this experience has felt like nothing short of a scam. I will be sharing my experience publicly so others can avoid the same mistake. Use this company at your own risk.

Here's the situation - I moved. New home, great, old home - we discovered some issues in selling,…read morelike _the main shut off valve was leaking_. And then we discover that the main water shut off OUTSIDE is messed up. I worked with Brandon who helped me figure out the steps I needed to do - 1. I needed to call the city and shut off the water. As no one was living in the house, I was cool with having the city come out and do it whenever (which lead to them redoing the water shut off as well - props to the City of Columbus Utilities!) 2. Once I had the water shut off (or scheduled) work with them to get on the schedule - I sent him photos of the issues at hand for an estimate to replace the main shut off AND ALSO the hot/water valves to the washing machine (that also decided to start leaking). Once the water was shut off, Brandon came in, did all the work (in a VERY cramped space - it's one of those old concrete water heaters). City came back, turned it on outside, came inside to review his work - and there was a leak in the cold water shut off - something that, you know, is kind of hard to test when the water is off. A quick call to the business and they had another guy out there to address the leak - and DONE! It took some time - I didn't push (aside from the day of - they have a four hour arrival window) aside from when it got close to the end of the four fours, and it seems EVERY plumber/plumber adjacent person I've talked to has been slammed recently (yay for them?). I'm glad they took my job. I like having a dedicated plumbing service that does a good job, deals with my irate ass, and has awesome plumbers. I hope to never need them again XD - but if I need a plumber, I know who I'm calling.

A clerical mix-up on the correct arrival time caused a minor delay but no tragedy. The plumber arrived in very good spirits & with very good customer relations began to diagnose the plumbing issue. After promptly solving one issue he began work on a secondary issue to replace a bathroom sink elbow pipe. Problem was, he had no correct parts on his truck. Issue #2 will be skipped. We were disappointed the proper part weren't loaded on a plumbers truck but again, no tragedy. Rates are competitive for the industry. The plumber to customer attentiveness, and verbal skills were well above average. No creepy weird guy shows up with plumbers butt, just a professional well spoken business man. Kudos guys!
