large selection of animals but they have a cat wandering the store which is a predator for a lot of reptiles. makes no sense. plus a lot of people get into keeping reptiles because they're allergic to dogs or cats, seems like a weird choice to make. all the enclosures were either too small, over stocked with animals that should be kept alone, or filthy. the enclosures were covered in poop, and some even had mold. there were multiple bearded dragons that looked sick, baby crested geckos missing tails, anoles struggling to shed, giant snakes in tiny enclosures, no enrichment for the animals, chameleons free roaming over an open fish tank, and a macaw with no enrichment in a hot dirty corner with clipped wings. if you care about animals and their well being don't go to reptile junction. read more

What a FUN and kid-friendly place! Took our grandkids here and they absolutely loved it. The staff are so nice and answer all your questions about all the reptiles. Even the dog, the cat and Patagonian Mara are very friendly and a big hit with the kids. They have snakes, lizards, iguanas, turtles a big colorful parrot and more. Be sure to tip the great staff before you leave, they work hard to make your visit fun. read more

Worst experience. Came in with my 6 and 4 year old as my kids have been asking for a pet lizard. We came in looking for additional information and the opportunity to hold some of the lizards. No one greeted us when we entered the store, when we asked questions to the staff, we were given one word answers, zero customer service. To top it off, my 6 year old daughter asked to pet a cat in the store and told yes. While petting the cat, the cat bit my daughter and broke the skin. My daughter started crying and shouted out that the cat bit her. One employee nonchalantly said "sorry bout that" . No one checked on her or showed any concern. Highly do NOT recommend. read more

Brought the grandkids today, to help pick out a new male chameleon. We loved the new setup, so you could see them up close, whereas most stores won't do that. The owner and staff were busy with multiple kids educating them on proper care and handling, fun facts, and even some feeding information. There are so many cool animals to see, with some roaming around. Got some great ideas on how to better build my setup, and left with a chameleon with a kink in his tail. They focus on kids more than any thing, my boyfriend and me came in to check the place out it was full of kids we didnt get greeted no one even asked if we were looking for anything I waiting for 10-15 mins for any employe to be available to ask questions about some animals the response I got was nice but I would have one more question and he would just walk away from be so I had to basically follow him just for 3 questions I had then he left when I still wanted to hold a snake so I waited some more while I'm watching another family hold a snake mind you I got ignored the whole time and when i finally get a chance to ask to hold a snake dude walked away how fucking nice I'm glad y'all car read more

I really do love coming here, this location gives so many opportunities to learn about different species. They care for their animals and it shows. I think this place attracts the right crowd, they have animals you can interact with and I'm sorry but if you're not prepared for normal animal behavior and interactions then that's a personal problem. They have it posted outside all the information you need to be prepared mentally. Something I also really love here is they have preset tanks and some that come with animals, for a GREAT price. The owner is a kind man, he clearly has a passion as do the folk who work there. I've always seen them take care of whoever comes in and are precise and well spoken. read more

Very nice owners and very informative. I took a pic of some poop that I found on my bar-b-que because I was afraid it might be a snake. The owner knew right off what it was. Great poop identifier! not many people have that particular skill :) AND they have a pet emu walking around the shop! I want one! Anyway, very clean, lots of good stuff. Other than all the snakes (I am not a snake person, it's me not them) it's a great place. Do have to admit some of the snakes were quite beautiful. More reptiles than I've ever seen in one place. Button quails, baby emu, (I want one) baby quail. Lots of chicks. Definitely recommend this place for you reptile and snake folks. I will definitely be back. I have got to get an emu! read more

Prices are competitive and staff was nice and never rushed. I can't express how much I appreciate it when people working in a reptile store are both kind and knowledgeable. It's a rare find nowadays. I have been coming in with the kids for 4 years now. We have fun every time, even if we came to buy some crickets we end up staying to pet the emu, feed the tortoises, play with the free-flying dove, and check out what new and interesting lifeforms they have added since last time. They are very friendly, fair and affordable prices, and very knowledgeable. They love animals from every genus and it shows. It's not the closest shop for us to get items and food for our creatures, but it's always worth the drive for the experience. read more

I am decreasing my rating to 3 from 5. Each subsequent visit the staff seemed increasingly annoyed. They gave me the wrong light for my small tank even though I clearly stated the size. They have random animals around the floor. While cute the emu kept trying to get in my purse and took a crap in the aisle and they wiped it up with paper towels and not cleaner. Makes me question their cleaning techniques. A bird flew at my head and he was just being "friendly". If I want to visit a zoo I'll go to the zoo. read more

The owner could not have been any nicer and it was a great feeling knowing he was in the store helping everyone. He showed me quite a few animals that he enjoyed and we talked about my animals and he had lots of useful information. They also had an amazing selection of animals and very great prices. I had called a few different reptile stores looking for an adult female crested gecko and they were the first store to gladly find me one and make sure it was the perfect fit.
