I could not stress more, STAY AWAY!! This company uses unprofessional workers and methods, which resulted in unprofessional work performed that damaged my property. They did the initial work, then 3 follow up attempts to "repair" the areas they worked in because of how bad it was done, but failed at each time in addition to damaging more of my property. They cost me THOUSANDS in damage. $9150 to be exact. Our sales person was professional and really informative; I almost felt like I could do it myself after he went through his presentation. Martin and his team doing the piping were very professional, courteous and right on time. Francisco and his crew filling the holes were on-time and quick and everything looked good and clean when they left. Christina in the office was really responsive and helpful the couple of times we spoke. The work is really invasive: 8 guys tearing apart, re-piping and patching your house over 2 days but we were well prepared and it went off with minimal issues. There were a few small chips in our garage floor from sliding the washing machine around but outside of that it went off without a hitch! read more

I hired Repipe Specialists to repipe my house in Jan 2018. In Aug 2020, I did a remodel, several sinks and toilets had to be detached from the water lines. 11 of 11 Uponor shut off valves installed on those sinks and toilets failed. The repipe came with a lifetime warranty, I contacted Repipe Spec., the Uponor valves are the only item not covered for "lifetime" and are only covered for a year. The Warranty language is cryptic so read it carefully and ask questions. They contract out the work to Repipe for Less, they referred me to them. They push me off on the Uponor sales rep, who then passed me off to Uponor directly. I got the run around for several weeks and no one would take responsibility, claiming the valves never fail. I called plumbers and was quoted an average of $175 per valve (not including drywall work). $1925 . I went back to Repipe Spec. and they again recused themselves and sent me back to Repipe for Less. It took several more days of back and for and they finally agreed to "no charge" but then wouldn't return my phone calls or text messages when I tried to schedule a date/time for the replacements. My text messages and voice mails went unanswered since Sept 2020. Update: Repipe for Less finally made good on their word and replaced the valves. It turns out, a number of customers came forward, after me and complained about the Uponor valves. Repipe For Less have since changed the valves they're using to a more robust valve that comes with a 5 year warranty. It's unfortunate that it took 6 months of me pressuring them and other people coming forward for them to replace the valves but I'm happy they finally made things right. The valve issue overshadowed the fact that they did a great job on the repipe job itself initially. The crew was very friendly, curious and efficient. You would never look at my house and know something like 70 holes had been strategically made in order to replace the pipes. The drywall repair was excellent. Now that they've using a more robust valve with a 5 year warranty, I would recommend them. read more

The guy was nice enough, but it was clear there was no actual plumbing expertise. I was taken in by their website, which promises that they have years of experience with repiping and special techniques to make it happen quickly and economically. Repipe Specialists it turns out is not a plumbing company. They're a "lead generation" company. They take some photos, take a cut, and essentially drum up business for small plumbing companies that don't have the scale to advertise and drum up their own work. The first time repipe came out they said the job was too complicated, apparently because the house was 2 stories. The second time they came the 1st floor had already been done. The final bid was double the other guys. And who would do the actual work? Who knows. At least they disclosed all this, though clearly not up front. read more

Cesar from Repipe Specialists came to my home and persuaded me that our home needed a complete repipe. That was the first of many lies. There was nothing wrong with the copper interior piping. The only pipes that needed to be replaced were the ones under the slab. The lies continued from there including: -- They were experienced plumbers. They were not. They sub-contracted the entire job to plumbers from other companies. No employees from Repipe Specialists were present on the jobsite. -- They would be neat cleaning up after themselves. Not true: They left piles of wet drywall dust. My wife and I spent hours cleaning. --25 holes would be put in walls, but a drywall contractor would repair and make the walls "paint ready". Not true. The promised contractor put two coats of drywall coating on the walls. Ridges, grooves, and noticeable marks remain on the drywall. No texturing was provided. The contractor said that he does not make the walls and ceiling paint ready. We have to hire that out elsewhere. Estimates to make the walls paint ready will be several hundred dollars at least. --Cesar promised to be hands on and always available for problem solving. He never answered our calls. No one answered at the main office. Once the contract was signed, we never saw or heard from Cesar again. He left one phone message that did not answer our concerns. --Repipe Sp. told me a city inspector would be coming providing the day and time. When the inspector failed to show, I called the city and they said that Repipe Sp. had never made an appointment. I ended up making the appointment for the next day. --I filled out a survey at the end of the job. It was highly critical of the company. No one from the company has made contact. They took my 11,000.00+ check and ran. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this company. read more

We had a complete repipe including new hot water heater and main line. The arrived and completed the repipe in one day. A couple days later their drywall team came and patched the holes they had made in our walls. They were all very professional and did a great job. We have and will continue to recommend them to our friends and family. About costs... we had 3 estimates and they were the most professional, included all new shutoff valves/supply lines and drywall repair. They also saved me lots of money. At least get a free estimate. Today, we had 5 of the BEST re-pipers around that came from Repipe Specialists. We had a great first impression when Sean came to our home to discuss what REPIPE SPECIALISTS can do for us. They were highly recommended by, ONE STOP PLUMBING (another great company) Boss man Martin and his guys: Alex, Ulysses, Johnny and Tony got to our house this morning around 8ish and did a complete re-pipe and finished it the SAME DAY!!!!! The way these guys worked was amazing. Each one had their own skill and special job to do and they worked so in sync with one another and with professionalism and respect to our items in the house, making sure they told my husband, Ted and I what to expect and how things were going to be done. I had some pinhole leaks the past couple years and a lot of my neighbors are getting whole house re-piping jobs done between a range of $6000 to $8000 repiping specialist came in at over $10,000. They did a great job from start to finish. And they followed all the COVID protocols. YES, it is an extremely messy job and we had lots of holes, but they were very efficient getting my house back together. The whole house repipe took 1 day, the drywall another day following the inspection. Then we did the painting ourselves and were completely finished on the 4th day. I can highly recommend them! We did get a similar bid from a competitor many of our neighbors have used. And this company sent someone to meet us right away, but the sales guy seemed bothered and tired. We gave them two house's to do and we're told that we would get a discount for my Nephews house ,but never received anything. This company is a parody of a company! They are repiping our condo so let's cut to the point. We had an 8 month old baby now 10 months and they tried to tell us there was going to be giant holes in our daughters play room all weekend. So since this was 2 months in advance we asked for a different 4 business days that wouldn't leave us with a hole in the wall. So after the receptionist cursed at my wife and I got on the phone (obviously left out details) we got it straightened out to where they'd start on Tuesday and everything was to be done by Friday..... So Tuesday they show up at 7:30 Wednesday no show Thursday show up at like 9 (start was 8) Friday no show and our house is still in disarray and cannot be used Saturday we're fuming Sunday we asked the lord for help Monday no show and my wife gets Covid Tuesday they show up with no word, no appointment and scare the hell out of all of us and wake my baby up. AND THE WEATHER IS RAINING CRAZY with chances of tornadoes in California and they decide to show up out of the blue So now my house is in disarray. My baby cannot even be put down. And now my wife has covid so they won't be back for at least a year at the rate they lie and move (sarcasm) I took the time to write this review because of the extreme incompetence of this company. Being Proactive we notice some of our houses around us were having major leaks and cleaning so we decided to change our copper pipes to PEX type A to repipe our whole house we don't want our house to be damage by water and have to deal with mold issues and disaster. I had my house re-piped by Repipe Specialists mostly because they provide a quote "lifetime warranty". I have called three times with issues and every time they have said the issue is not covered under the warranty. Be VERY CAREFUL!!! Their lifetime warranty lasts until they leave the job and no longer. They have excuse after excuse! Even the sales guy pawns you off on others and they do nothing. There are many Repipe companies that offer warranties. Don't be fooled by this one AT ALL!!! Obviously they don't do things as well as they say or I wouldn't have had three issues so far. We live in Sacramento. The pipes in our 1956 house were not in the best of shapes, so we decided to repipe. After getting several quotes, we decided to go with Repipe Specialists, due to their reasonable price, 30 year track record, and lifetime warranty. We couldn't be more pleased with the process. We decided to go with L copper pipe. On the day of the installation, a crew of nine arrived around 10 AM, and finished the job by 3:30 PM. They laid drop cloths on the floor to cover all areas where the inside work would take place. Of course a few holes have to be opened to install the risers to the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room, and covered counters, tables with plastic film. The firm they subcontracted is Gallegos Plumbing. Very professional, neat, and friendly. The city inspector came the following Monday and praised their work. I call their office and they scheduled the wall patching for the next day. The patching work was excellent. So from our point of view everyone involved did a terrific job! Also the customer service is very responsive. We needed a form filled out for our home insurance company to certify the pipes have been replaced, and got it back from them the next day. So to summarize, we recommend Repipe Specialists for your repiping needs. It's a hassle-free one--stop-shop for the whole repiping process. read more

I was happy overall. Great prices and guys were neat. They missed a small section of drywall but totally understandable because the guys who do the drywall don't know where all the openings are. But they came back out to fix it. Drywall was good but texture could be a little neater (me being a perfectionist but a normal person would notice). They were flexible with me and polite. One of the pipes in our upstairs shower leaked. Our home was built sometime prior to 1928, and has all kinds of nooks and crannies making what would be a simple job of pipe replacement a nightmare. Art, Thelma, John, Simon and several others, were a part of the worlds, worlds, yes I mean worlds,greatest repipe professionals. In one week they had opened up the walls, replaced the hot and cold water lines, closed up and brought to a ready to paint finish all areas opened, inside and outside the house. Additionally, while working on the second day we discovered the sewer pipes had some serious cracks and had the whole sewer system replaced/updated. We were so impressed by the care taken to minimize the inconveniences to us, one day when they finally broke for lunch, late in the day, we served them a little treat to go with their lunch. We also felt compelled to give an additional financial tip to some specific workers. Simon the man who closed up all the openings which included, drywall, stucco, lath and plaster, and popcorn ceilings did his work with the art of a craftsman and diligence as if it was his own home. Dont use them.  The crew they used did the work, they got to permit stage and they dissapeared.  I had to work with the City and pay extra for work they did not finish, and pay for a new permit.  They also broke antique tile in my bathroom.   they did not help me to resolve I will be sharing this on every place I can.  Next Door, etc.  I have owned several homes and worked with many contractors, and have never had this experience.   Do not use them. read more

Aaron Davis came to check out the project and gave us an estimate. We had another estimate, and Repipe Specialists did come even at a better price. I really thought about it and it is best to go with a company that specilalies in one product and is the best. It did take longer than expected, but we are so happy with the work and the workers. Stay away!!! We had our house repiped in July 2018 with PEX pipes. They subcontract people to do the work, so they can get the highest profit while you pay a lot of money ($7800 for a 1400 square foot house). There is poor communication between them and the city inspection. They promise you a date to start the work, but after they get the contract signed and the down payment, they call to change the appointment. The second crew that fixed the dry wall brought along two of their kids (7 and 10 years old) and they did not even asked permission. Nothing strikes fear into your bank balance like the realization that you have to repipe your house. Gallons of beer (and a couple shots of tequilla) were guzzled after meeting with the "smell good plumbers" who quoted $14,500. (Which did not include the $350 they wanted for a leak detection service. We know we have a leak, MF! It's right there!!) Repipe Specialists did the job for a 1/3 of what others quoted us. AND, they did it all in one day, not including patching the walls which they will do the next day. But HEY, we have running water. The process of re piping isn't the most fun way to spend your time. However, the representative (Michael Norris) came out to our home, listened to our concerns, took measurements and surveyed our current plumbing and made recommendations. He sat with us and explained the details of this process. We set the date to re pipe and the plumbers who are sub contracted came out and completed the job in 2 days. We did have to wait for the patchwork to be completed. All in all, we were very happy with the work that was done. The areas of improvement are primarily with the plumber that was sub contracted. We stayed in touch with our rep and he made sure that our concerns were addressed. read more
