Had a leak and needed help. Decided to go with Repipe Specialists. The initial agent Mike was very professional and that is still an important quality for a service professional to have for me. The initial visit was thorough and honest and informative. I felt confident in going with them. And I've had a few bad experiences with some companies recently regarding professionalism and honesty. This was refreshing. And to boot they quoted the best price. They didn't quote a price and then claim that their advertised discounts for some reason would not be applicable. There's a name for such practice. Anyway they were top notch from start to finish. I definitely got my money's worth. I would definitely hire these guys again for ANY plumbing needs. Poor quality, poor service broke things and refused to fix . Would not even come out to look at problem that local plumber found on routine inspection. The highly respected Plumber could fix it but clearly found that the problem was due to Repipe and told me to call them. He expected they would want to fix their job. I'm very confused by your response. You have simply copy and pasted your warrantee fine print. Something that is never mentioned when your sell the work with a lifetime warranty. That being said, you are trying to accomplish what exactly? You have opened a case? This smells of Yelp theater, and in the end you will do nothing, you will pay for nothing, and everything will be exactly the same. What you really have failed to do is when you had the opportunity to help me, instead you chose, you stuck to your guns, and it now costing you. When I originally called, you were more concerned about collecting the $150 that was never going to be refunded because workmanship warranty is at your complete discretion. Do you really expect me to believe you will warranty your work, when you can just say that's not a workmanship issue, with no neutral party making that decision. You also failed to mention at the time I called that ball valves are not covered. That was said several days later, presumably because I was pushing back so hard on the demands of prepayment to potentially be able to have a warranty repair. So again, what are you really trying to accomplish now? I'm not going to hire your company, and this entire situation was created by you and only you. Don't call me. These guys repiped my house. They did check where the leak was coming from. Turns out my leak was from the air conditioning unit so I didn't need repiping at all. I had all kinds of water damage and when they pulled the tile off in the shower I discovered a kink in the line. They wouldn't come fix it and in fact told me they wouldn't warranty their work. I have no idea if there's other kinks in the line but I had to get another company to come fix it. Don't let these guys come out and make new problems for you. read more

Would never hire them for anything again. First off they never clean up after themselves. Everyday they would come back and make a complete disaster and then leave! There were screws everywhere and I got one in the foot walking to the bathroom at night. Then they did not do all the pipes they left a small 3 foot section that now has the same issue with the pin hole leaks. I didn't notice as they left all the old coper in the house, so I thought that was not in use anymore. Well it now has the pin hole leaks. When I called them and told them about that after already spending close to 30k they tell me that part was not in the contract. Two problems. First, they go on contract saying they don't do tile repair but fail to inform the consumer who wouldn't normally know that places don't want to take jobs that are so small so now I am in a position of possibly having to do a complete retile of the shower which will cost nearly as much as the repipe work. Had they disclosed the difficulty in getting such a small job done I would have asked the piping from the valve to the showerhead not be replaced but as of now I am nine months with a hole in the shower where they removed the tile. Second there were no issues with the pipes outside. They connected to the outdoor irrigation and after some amount of time it has begun to leak and they say they take no responsibility. Any logical person would conclude they had over torqued their screw on copper fitting to the pvc when they attached to the outbound irrigation line but they refuse responsibility read more

I'm a little late to review, but everytime I hear the noise, I remember the poor installation and customer service. So today I thought I would write a review. We have a knocking sound every time we use water downstairs (sink, shower, toilet). We've tried texting our regional sales manager several times, but have gotten no response. The install was done in August 2022, costly over $20k. Customer service after install was so POOR. We sent several messages after install was complete and never heard back. When we did hear back, months later, the customer service person pointed to a warranty. We believe that it is an issue with installation and not post installation. Beware. read more

They had an experience in the business as well as a fair price and the salesman did a great job explaining every step occur. However, we did not realize, but they subcontract out to accompany called KBR plumbing and we had a horrible experience! Feel free to visit my review of them! All of the information said to reach out to a specific number and ask for Lisa for any assistance. Turns out Lisa was out of town for two weeks. We failed our Pasco county inspection not once but twice. They made small errors, like not filling all of the old pipes, only some of them. Others were missing brackets that were required. We needed to re-pipe our 1950's home with the original plumbing. I called 4 companies and received 4 quotes. Only Repipe Specialist, specifically Michael Norris, sat down and educated me on the available products and the process. I felt very confident in trusting them with the job. Their price was very competitive. The work was completed in two days. At the end of each day we had the use of all of our bathrooms and kitchen. They were clean, professional and very easy to work with. We had to add on to the project and they were able to fold the extra work into the two day timeline. Be careful with these people, they will nickel and dime you with small things not included in the contract. One of their reps named Karen Quintero got on the phone with us and thought of anything to avoid them coming out here with an ongoing plumbing leak. This is after they did a complete re-pipe of the house. Thinking the re-pipe of the entire house will solve your problems? no, The leak was found but Re-Pipe Specialists refused to fix the problem. They referred me to one of their "friendly plumbers" that wanted to charge $650 in labor just to replace and install the fixtures to a roman tub. Outrageous ! I hired another plumber to install the same roman tub fixtures and was done for $150. The drywall team could not finish the job since the leak was filtering down to the kitchen ceiling below. They left leaving a gaping hole in the kitchen ceiling. I sent text to Karen Quintero asking if the drywall man can return to finish the job after the plumbing leak is fixed but get no response from her. total silence. Their service seems to be lacking here. Now we have to patch up this last hole left above the kitchen ceiling ourselves. This so called rep "Karen" never responded back to my text messages about having the drywall repair guy return to get this last hole patched up. read more

Repipe Specialists were fired from the multi-million dollar project amidst working on my building for a number of reasons including negligence, poor workmanship and theft. They did a sloppy job leaving paint on the flooring, holes in the ceiling, a paintbrush lodged deep in my toilet, list goes on.... Your team damaged my HVAC system beyond repair, and caused significant water damage. I have been without heat for months, have had ongoing remediation and now construction for weeks and the remaining team (Project Manager has been fired) members are unresponsive or denying liability. I have a 30+ year old home and based on lousy water pressure, I knew it was time for the water piping to be upgraded. PEX was the choice. I contacted R/S about an estimate. On July 13th, Doug Riley came out to my home and provided a comprehensive download on the services and accompanying costs. I was satisfied with what I was hearing and hired R/S to do the work. On Friday, July 26th, the R/S team showed up one hour before they were supposed to arrive. But they started and completed the work that day. Positive: The return of water pressure was instantaneous. Hallelujah! Negative #1: I never received a confirmation call or email from R/S about this service. It has always been customary that when contractors come to your home and do the work, especially expensive work like this, I would expect a confirmation the day prior. This did not happen. When I texted Doug and Kimberly Quintero, the office manager, I was met with surprise that I would be expecting this. Negative #2: I spent 2 more hours after they left re-cleaning their clean-up job. So, the guarantee that they would return the house to its original state of cleanliness was not met. On August 5th, a re-patch team came in after the San Diego County inspector signed off on 7/30. Positive: All the many holes were closed with new stucco re-surfacing. Negative #1: The work was sloppy. No other way to put it. Stucco slopped on brand new brass valve fixtures. Creases in wall stucco. Unacceptable. Negative #2: I contacted Kimberly to tell her about my dissatisfaction. I was advised by her that she will send the crew back out to fix the defects I told her about. A few days later, the financier informed me that R/S had asked for and received full payment for a completed job. No re-touch as promised. No follow-up call. Nothing. Would YOU hire a business that does its customers this way? read more

They are your best friend before the job but what they don't explain is that NO ONE will call you back once you pay, NO one will follow through to the end. You need to be your own general contractor and follow through, pick up the ball every time Repipe Specialist drops it and they drop it a lot. When we noticed and my husband called them they got rude. Now there holes in the walls, plastic pipes and a huge trench in the front yard. The Civil Liability if someone falls in isn't ok. They want to charge us another $6000.00 to fix. It started February 3 and it's still not competed February 23. They had no intention of having the inspection the next day and fill in the trench. They are unresponsive after installation They give the impression that they do the work themselves but they subcontract to different contractors. Those contractors are not responsible and follow up after inspection is terrible. I've had my dry wall open since 3/25/24. They went beyond the agreed upon prescheduled days of the job, didn't schedule follow up appointments with care or any matter of urgency, causing us to make multiple follow up calls ourselves to constantly see that/when they would come back to complete the job, all the while living in a hotel with family for the duration. Still the work was well done by the crews, only that the first crew of workers left a dent in our flooring, and after reporting the dent, the company had us go through all sorts of measures (referring us to other people who have tried to delay anything from happening, and constantly accusing us of lying) to have it fixed (it still is not fixed) all the while doubting us, asking for more and more proof that they were responsible. We then sent proof and they went MIA. They make you fight hard for this sort of thing which is not a good indication of care for the customer's home or belongings, and they're still not handling it correctly. I have a 50 yr old house and I am an 81 yr old lady. I had a slab leak that was inside a wall in my living room and kitchen. I called my plumber and he sent out an employee that fixed the leak but cut off the water to my Master Bedroom Shower and bathtub. He wanted to do a repiping, but would be unable to put water into my Master. I did some research and called the Repipe Specialists. Jody Weiss came out that day and talked me into signing for a full house piping. He insisted on doing the piping the next day or I might have to wait until they were available. I had no water in my bathroom and needed to be able to shower. The crew came out the next day and cut the holes in the drywall and repiped my house in one day. However, they had to go through a fiberglass wall in an adjoining bathroom to get to the pipes. They cut holes in the fiberglass wall and were going to leave the walls open. I told them they had to cover the holes because it allows all sorts of insects to come through the openings. They inspector came twice. The first one said he wouldn't sign off on the Permit because they neglected to finish the wall under the sink of the adjacent bathroom and left a hole in the wall in the Master Bathroom. He made a note on the way the fiberglass wall was repaired. They sent the plumbers back out the following Monday to repair the wall under the sink in order to pass the next and final inspection. Another inspector came out after the weekend and looked at the fiberglass wall and said he could not sign off on the project because they did not finish the wall correctly. They used wall board to cover the holes and that is a big fire hazard. He contacted the company and was told that I (the homeowner) needed to fix the problem and that they would not come out and finish the repair. read more

Repipe Specialists are one of the worst contractors I have worked with. I'm a contractor that hired them to just do the repipe on a home we were working on. The amount of paper work we had to sign and the way the company works is like working with caltrans or the government. Also be prepared to pay for the complete job before is signed off by the city or county. I would never recommend them to any homeowner or contractor. Also not all the work that was paid for was performed. After talking with all the different departments I found that the company is run not as 1 company but runs sub companies underneath it. They farm there work to another company and the sales people work by 1099's commission only Ect. Do yourself a favor and check around and get 3 bids and feel them out. Also Check there lic with the board and see what reveiws come up when searched. read more

They repiped our entire house in one day, 2400 sq feet. My tremendous anxiety about the process was unfounded. My neighborhood was experiencing a large number of pinhole leaks and copper pipe failures from cheap Chinese copper tubing that was used in the late 80s and early 90s. I decided to be proactive and get this done before a problem occurred. We received a quote from John O. and one other company. I liked John's professionalism and frankness about the process. The first crew, the plumbers, showed up on time, walked me through the house, explained the process, and then got to work. Like ants at a picnic. They just swarmed the house and got to it. No screwing around. Taping, putting up plastic protection, protecting stairs and floors etc. It was a process but within an hour the cleverness began. Opening holes exactly where they needed them and replumbing the house quickly and efficiently. It was a bit overwhelming but rather interesting to watch. Shockingly, by 430pm the water was on and they were cleaning up. Wiping down the house and cleaning pretty thoroughly. The second crew showed up a few days later after the first City inspection. Now this is where the anxiety was. I NEVER thought they would match the texture and truly believed I'd see patch holes and outlines of the holes (82 in total). This is an art form. I just finished painting, and no one can tell that these guys were even there. I am gob-smacked at how well they did. They don't sand so there is limited dust, and the texture is perfect. With super light sanding before painting, you cannot tell where the old texture ends and the new begins. If you are contemplating this project, these are the guys. Great team. Great communication. Great job. Highly recommend. AND....the water, since it is not going through the foundation any longer, is hot at the showers 20 seconds faster. Yep...I timed it before and after. Less waste! I asked for a quote to have my inflow water pipes replaced. They sent an elder gentleman with a cane to do the quote. He went outside looked at my outside faucets turned on the water and said my pipes were oxided and the flow was low. I didn't see a low flow. Then he came inside turned on the faucets said yes low flow. He complimented my water heater. He then proceeds to write the quote saying it was around 7,000.00 to replace the pipes. I said no that's too expensive. He then suddenly remembered they were having a sale so he then quoted around 5,000.00. Then at that point he asked me if I had asbestos under my house. I said no because we had our outflow pipes changed about 2.5 years before and they removed the asbestos from under the house. He said do you have proof because otherwise you'll have to pay for an inspection and removal. Wiich I felt was a hidden cost because he didn't disclose that until he thought about it. But he didn't know the cost of that. Anyway I said no still too much. He then tried qualifying me for a loan at around 360.00 or so a month. Still too much for me, I'm on a fixed income. But doesn't matter I didn't qualify. He then asked me if I had credit cards to pay for it I said no. He was disappointed. When I called them I expected someone to crawl under my house and actually look at the pipes for corrosion or leaks and maybe some pictures not just arbitrarily turn on my faucets and say yes low flow. Even after I told him no he proceeds to tell me the virtues of their pipes. I again told him I wasn't interested and he finally left. Would I recommend them short answer no just based on the salesman. read more

I hired Repipe Specialists in December of 2023 to do a pex repipe of my home. They finished the job in 3 days and that was fine. Now a little more than 3 months later I discovered a leak at my main line going into the house, I contacted them at their customer service number and asked them to come and check it out and repair it. They said they would call back with a time frame of when someone would be here, no one called back. Called again the next day and they acted like this was my first time calling. Long story short, after 4 days with no water and no one from Repipe Specialists getting in touch we me, I had to fix it myself. DO NOT hire these people, if you have a problem they WILL NOT HELP YOU !!!! The man who sold me the job, John Oscarson, never returned my call or texts, but he sure was singing the praises of their service dept.. which is really nonexistent. They gave a date to start the work, we got ready and the day before they they stated the cost went up and I was no longer on the schedule. I asked why they waited until the day before to tell me about the additional cost. They said they forgot. I asked why I am not on the scheudle as the email they sent stated, thats corporate, they dont know what is going on." I asked for the deposit back and to cancel the project. They said no. I called "corporate " and they didnt do anything. They said I sjould be happy they are going to do the work with their 5 star crew. I had to use other means to attempt to get my deposit. If I could post NO STARS I would. This company is by far the WORST I have ever dealt with. They come to your home, present themselves and their service as A1 top of the line and make promises they do not keep. We were scheduled for Friday(even confirmed on Thursday with them)my husband and I took the day off, but they never showed up. The sales rep Richard responded once that he was working on it then never again. We were told the crews car broke down and they would be here on Saturday by 9am. The manager Nick called and said if it's 9am and they have not arrived call me...I did this as they once again did not show up, but yet again no response via calls or texts. Do not use this company to re-pipe your home. After paying $12,000 to have our pipes redone They left four holes in our garage ceiling unpatched. When I spoke with the office lady she argued with me saying they didn't cut the holes but I did. There was one hole that I did cut, and it was obvious that it was not cut by the same person who cut the other three holes. It was a very amateur cut, and the line was not straight. But other three cuts were perfectly straight professional cuts. She eventually called the drywall crew back to my house and then I began having to argue with him because they said that the holes were cut by me as well. After a while I gave up and just had them leave my property. It was literally a $25 fix at the most on a job that cost me $12,000 and they refused to fix it. I am extremely unhappy with their customer service. I would never recommend them to do a job for anyone because once they get your money they don't care about you at all and they won't fix any mistakes they made or anything they forgot to fix. My upstairs toilet is now leaking as well. Anyone with eyes can tell immediately by looking at the pictures that one cut is an amateur cut and the other are professional. when I confronted them about this they didn't have much to say other than they weren't going to patch the holes and that was their final answer. read more

I contacted Repipe after we had a slab leak. We had three proposals- Repipe was the best value. The project manager called, we setup a time for appointment, he was right on time very professional very courteous. He explained the process for repiping with PEX. We agreed to the price, his crew arrived the next day on time. They had the entire house re- piped by 5 pm. We had water. The next day the team arrived to patch all the holes, then the third day the drywall team came to mud the patches. I had my house repiped in May. I received a few quotes and they came in a couple of thousand less than the number one recommended in the area. They came in and finished within the week. Cynthia, the coordinator with the repipe specialists and the dry wall re-patch specialists is fantastic!!! She is friendly, available to help you answer any questions and available when you need to reach her. Louis, one of the repipe specialists came out to my house to answer questions, he was just as friendly as Cynthia. My only complaint is the the work on the patch work under the sinks. Just make sure they leave clean lines and no cracks. I missed that. read more
