Flautas
Jennifer B.

Flautas are one of my favorite things. They have potato flautas with cabbage. 3 of them without any sides for $36. They are unseasoned and the red pepper sauce is lacking in flavor. The entire restaurant seems void of cilantro which I know is a love or hate ingredient, but is a staple in Hispanic dishes. Everything from guacamole to the flautas needed it. Guacamole was delicious, but expensive for what you get ($19). As a vegan, you are VERY limited in what you can order. Guacamole and two salads without cheese and the potato flautas without cheese. Very meh. We only ate here because we were staying at the hotel and assuming beans and vegetables would be plentiful in the dishes. Wrong. We left hungry. Service was very good though. Matthew was our server. We had come here for a birthday and were seated at a small two top in a very busy area. It wasn't relaxing, intimate, or enjoyable. So many other good places to dine in Phoenix. One and done for me.

Located inside the beautiful Arizona Biltmore hotel, Renatas Hearth delivers an unforgettable dining experience. The food and ambiance are absolutely incredible and this was easily a highlight of my trip to Phoenix. Everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the octopus and scallop, both dishes were stunning to look at and even better to eat. Each bite was packed with flavor, and it is clear that every dish is thoughtfully curated and carefully executed. The service was professional yet comforting. The staff clearly knows the menu well and works seamlessly together, which adds to the overall experience. The lighting is dim, but it perfectly sets the mood, feeling elegant while still maintaining a warm, almost rustic charm. They offer live music on select evenings, so I recommend visiting on a Friday or Saturday if that is something you enjoy. There is also beautiful indoor and outdoor seating available, making this a wonderful spot for both a relaxed evening or a special occasion.

Peruvian rice

What a beautiful place to spend an evening. Gorgeous decor. Service was 5 star. The hand crafted drinks were spectacular and the food, delicious. Best guacamole we've ever had in the world! Peruvian 1/2chicken pollo al a brasa was wonderful. As was the peruvian rice.

Food and service was pretty good! BUT, the prices are a bit insane. $18 for house wine? I recognize it's in the Biltmore resort but it wasn't Michelin rated food either! We ordered the wagyu brisket and to be honest it was a bit over salted and dry. The ceviche was super delicious but tiny portion and $33! Not sure we'd be back.

Drink - too strong for me

We stayed at the Arizona Biltmore for my birthday trip and came here at one point during the trip (it's within the hotel) for a bit upper scale dining! Beautiful decor, lush and dim lighting, it's a vibe! I ordered the octopus as my appetizer and the chicken option for dinner and both were delicious. I knocked off one star because the cocktails are strong as hell lols if you prefer strong drinks then no problem but for me I like a combo of bitter and sweet and I feel like a good balance between the two couldn't be figured out so I just went with water at one point for the rest of my dinner lols.

Wagyu Brisket

For our 3 course meal at Renatta I had the: First course Ceviche- I found the juxtaposition of the traditional sourness of ceviche and smokiness that is more akin to a curry spice from pimenton oil to be interesting and paired well together Second course-Octopus: the octopus was cooked well and had a snappiness when you bite into it and the light tomatoe soup was a nice subtle compliment to the dish. Third course: Wagyu Brisket does taste like a Texas brisket style, very tender and pulled apart easily. The waitress alerted me that this was their specialty, and although the quality was good, my friends and I found that it was a bit too salty and dry. Using minimal ingredients to allow a quality meat to shine on its own is great but I think the flavor could be enhanced. The interior reminded me of a dining hall. service and attention from staff was noted; adding to the experience positively. Their Smokey chips appetizer were also delicious Overall, I would recommend Renata's.

My boyfriend and I seriously loved this dining experience. From the service to the food, absolutely exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a better celebration dinner. We were greeted with a smile from our wonderful server, Drea and from there we were just wowed. Brian was incredible with the wine knowledge and sold us a beautiful Sancerre. The food was amazing, the team service was cohesive, the attention to detail was there. When my boyfriend went to the bathroom Brian folded his napkin and placed it on his plate, the kind of service that makes the food taste better. So grateful for the staff, they curated an experience that will draw us back again soon. (Oh, and the lamb was wonderful too)

The Wagyu beef brisket was AMAZING. The service: excellent, knowing the deep history of the Biltmore and the restaurant. The polenta: excellent. Nice quiet restaurant tucked into the corner of an amazing hotel. The Waygu is worth every penny (and it cost a lot of no-longer-accepted Pennie's). Having tasted wagyu prepared in many places, this place tops them all. OMG. Come try it and then reply to me. I dare you to disagree. Wow.

The vibe here is amazing and the patio seating is worth it! I also appreciate the service, we were in a quiet corner but still were well taken care of. We had the mole enchiladas and sea bass & crab ceviche which was so flavorful and then the panna cotta and cheesecake for dessert. I loved that the panna cotta was topped with meringue and croutons it added such a nice texture difference to the panna cotta. This was a nice place for a special occasion!

Renata's food lives on in my memories. The brisket was incredibly tender served with homemade corn and flour tortillas and three crafted salsas. The fried rice was so delicious that I ordered it twice during my 3 night stay. It's garlicky and packed with fresh ginger.

Great food and great staff! Our server was amazing and accommodated my allergy! I loved mezcal margarita and made my boyfriend and I's 4 year anniversary amazing! I will return!! The tomahawk is to die for and everything was delicious!

I expected more for the price. I made reservations a week in advance and yet it somehow glitched and they didn't see my reservation on file, although I had marked anniversary as the reason for the visit, they put us in a corner near the traffic area of inside/outside and register. Service was good, no complaints there. The food was so lackluster. The octopus was so small and didn't have anything special about it. The $70 brisket was 5-6 slices of brisket and while it was good, it was so salty it was difficult to eat. The desserts were pretty good, probably my favorite part of the meal. For a $255 dinner for two, I feel like it left a lot to be desired

They'll also validate parking at the garage. We came for dinner before a show at the Mortgage Matchup Arena (which is just a quick 0.5 mile walk over). Happened to hit happy hour, which was just a few dollar savings, but nice. We tried the following: -Empanada Pabellon with Pernil: loved the plantains inside mixed the pork! -Empanada Colombiana Beef: good -Pollo and mango tostones: the tostones itself were a bit tough to chew on -Ceviche mixto: I've never had fried calamari with ceviche but it was nice and refreshing mixed with it! -Piña Tiradito: presentation was lovely and tasted just as great! I can never taste the fruit or make out the flavors for ciders and I'm a sucker for anything guava so was excited for the Sazon guava hibiscus cider, and while it was nice, sadly couldn't make out the flavors. Overall, cute space with bites to share and we'll be back as the burritos sounded good as well.

There was no wait on a weekday late morning, and my drink and muffin were prepared very quickly, and brought out to me in the patio area. The strawberry matcha latte definitely had fresh strawberry puree, and a Lot of it, which was so satisfying! They put a good amount matcha powder, and I feel that the ratio of ingredients was perfect. This might be slightly biased because I love banana and chocolate, but the banana chocolate chip muffin might have been one of the best muffins I've ever had in my life! They warmed it up for me so the chocolate was perfectly melty, and the banana flavor was just intense enough. I would come back for that alone. My husband and I both agreed that this was one of the worst meals we've had in a long time, especially considering the quality we expected. The Caesar salad was so heavily seasoned with anchovy that every bite tasted overwhelmingly fishy. The chicken was extremely overcooked and dry, and the pasta was so soupy that we weren't sure if that was intentional. Even our son wouldn't eat the kids' pizza. It was soggy and had a very unusual taste. Unfortunately, dessert didn't redeem the meal either, it had a texture and flavor that reminded us of a bad chocolate jello. Overall, nearly every dish missed the mark, which was especially disappointing given how much we expected from this restaurant. We wanted to share our experience because the quality simply wasn't what we anticipated.
