    Drink Menu - June 2026

I'm glad we finally stopped in here. The food and service were both amazing. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The salsa with the chips and salsa was my favorite. So good. We also got the queso flameado and I lived the extra flavor and texture from the added avocado. I was looking for something spicy so I went with the camarones à la diabla and when it came out I was worried I would still be hungry after. It wasn't very spicy but it had great flavor and I left completely satisfied. I would definitely get it again

I kept driving by this place meaning to check it out and finally got the chance. It did not disappoint. The interior was as colorful as its exterior. Our server was friendly and service was quick. We ordered the queso flamedo for an appetizer. It was rich and cheesy. I got enchiladas as my main which were also delightful. A fun addition to the area.

Came here with my mom cause I saw a tik tok, and it looked great. We walked in- wasn't really greeted just asked how many and sat fast. They gave us water, and chips with salsa right away. They took 5minutes to take our drink order, and then another 10minutes to get our food order which we still didn't get our drinks. I pointed that out and he apologized and went to get them right away. Then it took them 20 minutes for us to get our food. There was only two men servers. I will say the horchata aqua I was good but too much ice for me. My mom got a tamarindo drink barely even tasted like tamarindo. There was no salt or pepper on the tables at all. I will say the food was good and decent.

Fantastic meal with a friend and treated to the warmest hospitality by the owner. My enchiladas were otherworldly good. As was the spicy margarita. Though not on the menu, he made a hibiscus margarita for my friend. She ordered the chile en nogada and was blown away by the amazing and complex flavors. Every time I come here, the owner, Ulises, has added something new to enhance the ambiance. This time, he added a wonderful outdoor fountain with the beautiful sound of water splashing off a copper pipe. He also added a large tile topped family table in the main dining room. Just 3/4 of a mile north is Casa Corazon, run by Ulises' father. Both restaurants are absolute family-run gems. Support your local restaurateurs by stopping in for an unforgettable, personalized dining experience. You will go away with your tastebuds begging for a return and the knowledge that you helped a passionate business owner live their dream!

I met a friend for brunch and loved this place. I was busy catching up so I didn't get many pictures. The restaurant is really cute and I loved the decor. When we got there it wasn't very busy. We got seated right away and got served chips and salsa. The salsa was not spicy but was very flavorful. I ordered huevos rancheros which were really good. I would definitely come back to try some of the other dishes.

Came with a friend for lunch the chips and salsa were good we both got Enchiladas which were delicious. I'm very excited to have this new restaurant in our neighborhood! Their first restaurant, Casa Corazon, catered my friend's wedding. It's great that their opening one so close to my home. The happy hour deal of $6 margaritas is unbeatable- and they're good too! The guacamole, elote, and queso were great too. They were able to make the queso with no meat as well to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Service was friendly and quick. I'll definitely be back, and I hope the quality and happy hour deals continue!

What a Wonderful Visit! The service was great, and the food was amazeballs! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the staff made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant -- perfect for a relaxing evening. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. Highly recommend Casa 16 to anyone looking for great food and genuine hospitality!

Excellent chunky salsa with complex and well blended flavor

Had an excellent lunch of pollo al pastor and carnitas tacos, which came with beans, steamed rice and an excellent green sauce. It was nice to have al pastor with chicken instead of the usual pork and these were very nicely spiced. The carnitas were also excellent. The chips and salsa are excellent, complex and well blended chunky salsa. I have been to this restaurant once before when it was called Cien Fuegos and nothing has changed, still great food, unique menu and nice atmosphere and service.

We stopped in on a whim and were very pleasantly surprised. The hostess Karen greeted us with a beautiful smile. Even though we were in a hurry and we couldn't fully enjoy the atmosphere. The food was amazing. I'll post the pics. We had enchiladas suizas and Jamaica to drink. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. It also has a full bar in case you're interested.

Good food great price Wednesday $.99 tacos little crowded inside the digger fast service so you get your food concrete quick so a little picture of the inside

Sample of the pork green chile.

I met the owner Ulysis and he was so friendly and accommodating. I went there to see the space for my mom's celebration of life. I wanted to try the rice and beans and the red chile cheese enchiladas. They were so good. Then I asked for a sample of the green chile. This green chile was so amazing. My favorite so far! Then I tried the churros and was literally blown away! 100% the best dessert ever. I highly recommend going to Casa 16. I am going to bring my family and friends for the full experience! I can't wait! Lisa Esparza

For a beverage, I had a pre-concert cocktail of a Poblano Escobar (Mexican gin + limoncello + pineapple + lime + basil + poblano). Great bites and great sips! While the blue crab flautas definitely tasted of the sea, my favorite bite was that spicy tuna ceviche. It was so good. I ended up eating the whole bowl with a spoon. Yum. The photo I've attached was actually taken during our visit because I was planning on doing a review of their happy-hour items, so I happened to have a picture of the menu showing exactly what we were looking at. For our last item, I pointed directly to the "Chicharron de Ribeye" on the happy-hour menu, which is clearly listed at $12. I told our server that I didn't know how to pronounce the name, pointed to the item, and she confirmed the order. We ate our food, and when the check came, I noticed we had been charged $60 for a ribeye. I immediately explained that I had ordered from the happy-hour menu and specifically pointed to the $12 Chicharron de Ribeye. The server brought the happy-hour menu over and insisted that wasn't what I ordered and that I had ordered the regular ribeye. This was incredibly frustrating because I literally pointed to the $12 item on the menu when ordering. We had already ordered multiple things from happy hour, so why would I suddenly order a $60 entrée without being told that was what I was ordering? The biggest issue wasn't even the misunderstanding -- it was how it was handled afterward. Rather than acknowledging the obvious confusion and trying to find a reasonable solution, we were told there was nothing they could do and were left paying $60 for something we never intended to order. And honestly, the food wasn't impressive enough to make us want to come back anyway. If you're in the area, I'd honestly recommend going to Blanco around the corner instead. The food and overall experience are much better, and I'd rather spend my money there. After this experience, we definitely won't be making the drive back to Chico Malo. Save yourself the money and go to Blanco instead
