This is so overdue, but let me just say, I am in love with my cut from REG! It is everything I wanted and more! I literally started crying after I got it because I was so pleased. I know that sounds crazy, but I have had so many bad experiences with hairdressers in the past, that I literally gave up on trying to find someone I could stick with. I discovered Regina a few months ago because I wanted someone local and someone who knew what they were doing. I found her through the old salon she worked at and was in awe of every hair color she magically transformed. I was a little nervous at first because my last year of hair had transformed into a blonde I wasn't quite happy with and I wanted to get back to my darker roots, and I wasn't sure she if she'd be able to help me. Well, she worked her magic and she worked it well. Not only did she do an amazing job on my hair (I've decided her to now be the girl I always go to to get my hair done), but she's also the nicest person! The whole time while in the chair as she was doing her magic I felt like I was catching up with an old friend (and this was the first time I got my hair done by her). I've been to stylist where I've asked them a a question and they give me one worded answers (nothing wrong with that), but I enjoy the exchange and getting to know each other. My whole experience was really great from my hair being exactly how I pictured it to being able to get to know Regina who is so cool and so sweet! I've gone to Regina for haircuts twice now and I've been very happy with my hair both times. I keep my hair pretty short and she did a really good job cutting it so that it grew out well in between haircuts, which I've had trouble with in the past. I've brought in pictures to give her an idea of what I want and that seems to work really well. I went on yelp and saw these reviews. I spoke to Regina and she was able to accommodate me! She was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. I wanted a dark purple color. I explained I did not want burgundy, but a almost dark brown/black that has subtle purple. She gave me EXACTLY that. Horrible customer service, very little ethics, which do not out weigh the only pro...her skill in coloring ability. Sure she knows how to color hair but honestly if you have to worry about being harassed by your stylist who you pay to do a job, only to get an attitude as if she's doing you a favor by gracing you with her presence then why bother going to her??? Especially when she goes beyond the professional realm of transgressions and doesn't even think twice about criticising a client as a parent of a special needs child. Hoping to not only cast judgement and shaming me into believing I was at fault for a series of events that allowed her to steal $300.00 from me without so much as a second thought. I called, texted, emailed, contacted her salon, sent messages via her website, on Yelp, and it wasn't until I spoke to the owner of her salon that I finally was told to contact my bank to have them reverse the charges as fraud and her salon would support me if contacted with any necessary statement. It wasn't until then that she started texting me, except at this point to make up reasons why she had cause for keeping the additional amount of money given to her even though it clearly showered in her website that the max amount due could take was only half of what I had given her and to be honest, at this point after the continuous headaches, ongoing criticism about my parenting or my child I'm not ok with her receiving any money from me especially when no services were performed and she took advantage of the situation. I hope others read this and learn before they go to a new stylist bc I'd never have gone to her had I known the ordeal and money she was going to take from me. Shame on you Regina. read more

I've gotten my hair done by Regina several times and have had great experiences overall. She's super friendly and easy going. I especially love the way she cuts hair - I asked for a cut without layers and she did just that but made the ends a bit lighter so it wouldn't be too heavy and it was perfect. She is by far one of the very best stylists, colorist and overall hair care gurus I've had the pleasure of knowing. She's taken me from blonde to honey to RED to chocolate to my current darkest brown (almost black) in hair colors. I am in no way runway model material and am not trying to toot my own horn but to say I get complimented just about daily on how beautiful, thick, shiny and healthy my hair looks is simply just stating a truth! I always give the credit to Kelly knowing without her magic touch, my 100% grey head of hair would look like a used up, dilapidated brillo pad!!! I swear on everything I love and hold true...I have been going grey since my early 20's and now have not a single hair on my head that would be looking like old Mother Hubbard if it weren't for Miss K at Carte Blanche. Her studio is always super clean, modern looking with tunes bumping in the background to keep you humming along without feeling like you have to scream to have a conversation and parking is always easy to find (which is not always the case in Fullerton). She uses fantastic products to make you feel like a million bucks walking out the door and always gives great suggestions when "hair issues" arise.
