I would give this place a 0 if I could. Rude ass employees who will not give you the time of day. These people really know how to waste your fucking time. I went in yesterday and they told me the wait would be 30 mins, I told them I would be back and when I came back the lobby was full and everyone was sat before me. They then proceeded to ignore me until I asked how much longer for a pedicure. When the woman told me 15 mins I decided to make an appointment for the next day. I show up to my appointment today and I'm sitting like a dumbass for 10 mins waiting for someone to acknowledge me, everyone is busy so I don't want to be rude and interrupt but no one bothered to acknowledge the person Who just came in?? Finally someone approaches me and tells me I'd have to wait another 15 mins before I can sit. I get they're busy but what the fuck?? If you can't service me then just say so?? I've been coming to this place for 6 months, I'm a regular and still get treated like shit. Would not recommend, but you decide on your own. read more

I used to love this Place and their prices went up and I came in for my 30th bday and prior to my gender reveal so it was a special day. I traveled four hours to come down here and get them done here! I got gel nails and gel toes. After asking the lady who did my toes to fix my nails since he guy did a terrible job she said "oh my gosh next time I do them he did a bad job" ummm What?! I haven't had my nails on even a week and they all peeled off. It's been five days! They are supposed to last for at least two weeks! They were really expensive too! My neighbors gave me a gift certificate to red persimmon next to Fantastic Same off of La Sierra in Riverside. I called ahead of time to find out what the price is for a medipedi. They said 30.00. My gift certificate was 25.00. First of all they chilled the water warm enough for me to place my feet in the tub. Lily came over and introduce herself and I said I want just a regular medipedi. She tried to show me a list of other services that I was not interested in. I swear to God I almost walked out. Her pedicure was awful. I have problem toe nails and she did not even file down any of my toe nails. Picked at the toes as if she worked hard on them and didn't even push the cuticle back. Then she continued by adding cold handcream to massage my already cold feet. I ask her why didn't you heat up the handcream. She looked over at her co-worker and said something in their native language. I started thinking about my regular girl at a different shop and what a wonderful job she does. My manicure was by a younger girl and was fine. I will never go back to this shop again. Today I'm waiting for the owner to call me back to let him know that the service was poor. I find it very disrespectful for these people to talk about in their native language while u sit there and U know that they talking about you. Run ! Don't walk away from this shop. My mom has been going to this place o and off for a while. The last time she went the tech put gel polish over her SNS dip nails. She decided to try them again and her nails are an awful mess. She was scolded for having long nails, snapped at for asking a question and they spoke to her like she was a child. They are also overpriced. I feel bad as I was the one who encouraged her to start doing SNS. I love mine and get them done in OC and I pay $35.00 every time. Not 40/45 for miscellaneous items. I've been going there for a long time, and one day one of the girls cut my nails to sharp on the sides and I ended up at Urgent care and I experience an ingrown nail, I waited 4 months without getting a pedi and it took me many months to go back to the same place, because of my friend I went back and when I decided to go back I had a new girl doing my pedi and didn't like it so at that time someone there told me to go with Tina and I gave it a try, 5 times I was going with Tina, and she was ok at the beginning and one day I ask her why is my toe nail getting brown and she said oh, it's because your shoes are to small I said I don't where tide shoes, so went another time and she really hurt me I ask her why I'm I hurting so much and she said oh it's because you had an ingrown nail and I ask her why didn't you fix it last time and she didn't said anything, so I kept asking about my nail and NO answer, so I went there on Friday and I try someone else and I saw my nail more brown and I ask the girl why is brown and she call one of the older Lady's really nice and she said I have a fungus and I saw some Lady's looking at each other and then I saw the tools the girl use on me were NOT sanitize, I saw it many times the instruments weren't packaged nor sterilized I didn't said anything I thought I should be ok I NEVER THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GET A NAIL FUNGUS that was the only place I've been going for a long time and now I'm doing everything to cure it. Top coat was totally uneven and there was polish all over my cuticles. I got a pedicure too. She files my nails horribly!! Also left polish around my cuticles. I've been bouncing around nail salons after my nail guy moved, trying to find a new place.My mom met me here and we both got toe and finger french tip polish changes. We asked for gel on our hands. I have had great luck with gel, it strengthens my nails which were constantly breaking and stays on for weeks. The girl who did the toes was quick friendly and did a great job. The guy who did my hands rude & pushy. I can't stand when people are in the customer service industry with a terrible attitude and without care for the quality of their work. He kept insisting I have a full manicure and I told him I didn't want one. You need it he tells me. No thanks again! Finally starts my nails. I was talking to my mom and constantly had to stop because I felt him filing into my skin, ouch! Yeah maybe now I need a manicure after you cut and roughed up all my cuticles! When it was time to put them under the dryer (which was ontop of a pillow on my lap ...classy) I kept moving because It was so hot having all that stuff on me. He gave me dirty looks everytime. lol weirddd When he finished they looked awful. He didn't file the sides of the nail at all so shape wise ..fail. Fine, I think; I can fix that at home. Then there was all sorts of wrinkles in the paint, I thought maybe it was old or something.. i've never seen that before. I insist that he look at them and he says no there beautiful. My mom comes over and has to put her hand on top of mine to compare and says seriously your the professional and your telling us you don't see a difference? Her lady did an excellent job, and put my nails to shame. He says fine i'll fix one, I proceed to tell him it is about 8 fingers not just one. He did redo them but they look just as bad as before. They were lumpy with wrinkles ick. P.S They don't allow refunds. I ended up walking out tipping the girl that did my toes and telling her not to split it with him. I honestly don't believe he has any idea what he is doing and has an awful attitude to boot. Don't get the guy if you go here!! So the guy that did it was really nice. He got my skin sometimes but was good once I told him. He actually spoke to me quite a bit. I wanted almond shaped nails, and they are hardly even shaped correctly. When I mentioned it, he kind of blew it off. About 4 days later, they're not as nice, and they have tons of what looks like air bubbles. It's also quite sloppy (I thought it would wash off, like normal polish does). I spent $45 total, as I do like to tip. I would not have come here if the other two places I went to had been open. This is my second time here and don't have any complaints :) The staff is very friendly and try to get you in as quickly as possible, but never made me feel rushed while I was being helped. They have a great variety of gel colors to choose from and the pedicures are amazing! I got the $33 pedicure with a 10 minute massage and was well worth it. I even brought my husband for a pedicure and he loved it, too. I will definitely be back. read more

I treated my sister to a mani/pedi for her birthday on Tuesday. Fortunately, she got great service. She was presented with a "menu" of options, and the tech did a great job. I was chopped liver...I didn't realize there was a "menu" because I wasn't given one by whom I believe is the owner or manager, and just received basic service. And, she treated me pretty rough. She cut my left thumb cuticle and my right big toe cuticle enough that they are both still very painful three days later. This has been the only salon I've gone to in the Riverside area off and on over the last five years, but I'm going to find a different one now. read more

If I could I would rate 0. I went in for a pedicure, which was $21 because I chose to do french tip. They asked if I wanted my callus removed for an extra of $5, I said yes. So the lady did her thing and when she was finished, she charged me 31 dollars. Do the math, $21 + $5 = $26 . What was the other $5 for??? I didn't notice til I had left, that she had charged me extra. To make it even worse she did a horrible job on removing my callus. $31 dollars down the drain. And when I went to pay she still had the nerve to stand there and expect a tip. So dissapointed. Never again will I return to this nail salon. The pedicure didn't even last me a week. First time here. The pedicure chairs are very comfortable and have a massage feature. I was satisfied with my pedicure but annoyed by the persistent badgering to add more services. No, I don't want my eyebrows waxed. No I don't want a manicure even though my nails are apparently unattractive. And no I don't want to upgrade my pedicure to include hot oils and jazz. The owners definitely have a business attitude. Always focused on the bottom line. Also, no top coat as a previous reviewer mentioned. Where to begin... I called this place beforehand because I had never been here before. A man answered the phone and I asked if he had availability for a mani and pedi in like 5 min for gel, he quoted $45 over the phone. I wanted to verify and asked $45 for both gel mani and pedi he than corrected himself and said $57 which I thought was still reasonable so I decided to go in. I show up and was the only customer there, which is not unusual on a Wednesday morning... I let them know I had just called in and had an appointment for a gel mani and pedi, I immediately get sat down and a nice lady there asked me what Pedicure I wanted from a laminated menu. I chose the lowest price Pedicure at $23 which I thought was a little high for what I thought was their "regular" Pedicur since their wasn't anything lower on the menu indicating another option. I figured that was part of the quote I was given over the phone from the man who answered. So the lady gave me the Pedicure and the guy who had answered the phone 5 minutes earlier was the one working on my manicure... I know this because he was the only guy there... so they proceed to work on my mani and pedi... right away I notice the guy is doing a messy job because he looks like he's rushing... so after he puts on the 1st coat of polish I looked at my nails and notice he has not gotten all the edged on the 1st coat.... so I wait to see if he gets it on the second coat... so when he gets to the second coat he gets the edges a little better but I notice the polish looks raised in some areas and patchy. I kindly asked if he could do another layer to even it out he said ok.... when he finished he started filing the edges to get some of the polish off of my skin. When he did that he scuffed the polish on one of my fingers so I had him add the top coat again to fix it... which seemed to work... when he finish I carefully looked at my nails as I always do if I go to a new location.... and was really not happy with my nails they still looked patchy and ugly because he did a horrible job. I wish I would have said something from the beginning. When I go to pay the girl tells me it's $68 for the service I received! So I asked the guy why if that's not the pricing he gave me over the phone. He tells me its because I chose the deluxe Pedicure instead of the regular one. I looked at him and said the deluxe option is the only option you have on the menu that she showed me and that's the lowest price, no where on there did it have the option for a lower priced "Regular" Pedicure. I had let you know this was my 1st time here so I dont know your prices that's why I called. And all he said was oh sorry.... I didn't make a seen, I decided to pay the $68 they said I owe them and left unhappy and mislead by their hidden prices. I did not tip them for their sloppy service and for not letting me know they had a regular option for pedicure. Which is a 1st I always tip for mani and pedi if you do a great job why not? If you go here make sure you verify pricing before you they do anything and make sure you get a good nail tech. This has been the most expensive gel mani and pedi I've ever gotten and also the worst. read more

This place is terrible!! If there was an option to leave a review less than 1 star I would!! These people were incredibly rude. I walked in and only had 45 mins til I needed to go to work and already had some acrylics on. I asked them if they could finish redoing my nails by then and they said they could. As soon as I sat down, they didn't soak my acrylics that I already had on and literally STARTED RIPPING THEM OFF OF MY FINGERS. I was screaming "ouch!" So much that the other customers there were even getting annoyed. The lady doing my nails was ripping my hands towards her, bending my fingers in ways it couldn't bend, and just kept watching TV and I had to tell her to stop doing them or I would've been late for work. The shape of my nails are horrid. They're crooked and have no curve to them what so ever. And one of my REAL nails are broken now with a crappy acrylic over it. The first time I tried walking into this place, a lady stopped me and told me not to go in there and my roommate even went here and had to cuss them all out for being so rude. Had a very bad experience with Kevin. I got a new set of nails "coffin style". He glued the tips on crooked, and had the nerve to tell me my finger is crooked lol. So he soaked off 3 of the crooked ones & re glued on new ones & they were straight! He really struggled at getting the shape right & all the bails an even length! Towards the end I showed him a nail that was filed crooked & rather then trying to fix it, he decides to cut it off & start over. Keep in mind this new set took 2 hours!!!!! This entire time he was max that I said something about them being wrong in the first place that he & everyone else that works here decide to talk about me in their language! Everyone came over to look & then around to stare at me this whole time. If I had known he wasn't able to do nails properly, they should have stated that from the beginning & I would have just went somewhere else rather then wasting time & money! Extremely disappointed in my experience here today, I went in today for a full set and a pedicure. I got the usual lady who does my pedicure she's very friendly and did a great job. However, Linda, who was doing my full set was disappointing. I showed her a picture of my the nails i wanted, a simple color with glitter at the base. She insisted it was ombré when I've gotten it done before and it's just a base color with glitter. She was trying to overcharge me, so i said i would just get a regular polish, glitter set. She rushed through the entire set, my nails came out clunky, and disproportionate and left glue all over my hands making my skin stuck to my nails. Two days til my birthday and i have to sit here trying to get this glue off of my hands and file down my OWN nails so they look decent. Not a happy customer. read more

I am not sure if the girls are un-properly trained on how to cut toenails or they are not properly sterilizing their instruments. Super disappointing since this salon is so close to my house. I decided to give this place a try. It's close to where I work, and you can't go wrong with a Red Persimmon branch. So, let's begin. I walked in, and I was greeted with such welcoming smiles. Jenny asked me what I wanted, and I asked for a pedicure. She tried to offer me a better service, but I said no. Just the pedicure for me. Jenny made me feel comfortable and was very talkative. Then, she mentioned that my eyebrows have a lot of hair. They only offer wax. So, I kindly declined and said that I am allergic. She still insists and said that they have a chemical that is sensitive to my skin type. Again, I said no. She then asked if I wanted a deluxe or better pedicure. I said no, again. When Jenny was about to finish up, I was reading similar reviews on Yelp. That didn't make me feel good. Before I knew it, my pedicure was over, and she asked if I wanted an eyebrow wax again. She even insisted on letting me see myself in a mirror. Huh.. I know my eyebrows need work. I just don't want a wax! I also noticed that she didn't put a top coat on my pedicure, but she said that she did. Jenny wasn't the only one trying to sell to the customer. The other employees were doing the same. -1 star for insisting that my face needs work -1 star for not putting the needs of the customer first -1 star for the $1 credit card fee.
