I've always been a fan of Red Mango. I haven't been there in a while now. I realized that it's self serve now and by weight. Now you grab a cup and select your favorite soft serve and add all of your favorite toppings. Then you weight it at the register. I enjoyed this much better since I can choose how much or how little of each topping I would like to have. The Pomegranate is my favorite flavor thus far. read more

I'm pretty sure everyone knows what red mango is all about. Self serve frozen yogurt, plenty of flavors and toppings to choose from. This red mango is a little smaller than others with a limited amount of indoor seating and even less outdoor. The atmosphere and cleanliness is just like the others though. The quality of product is just like any other red mango, though the service is slacking as there where only two employees in the shop, both where in the back. I got a medium cup of Nutella ice cream with rice cakes and peanut butter cups. Nutella is probably the best flavor so just stick with that. Stay away from the cereal, it's usually stale. Would recommend for any warm day out when you want a "healthy" alternate to ice cream. Note the surrounding area isn't the best with nothing to do but smell the Hudson River, I'd grab the cup and avoid hanging around. read more

Health is the mindset for this spot. But be warned, a lot of natural sugars are involved. They have self-serve yogurt machines and a lot of fruits, nuts, snacks and sugars to go along with it. The Mango Acai bowl is filling but quite expensive, almost $10. Imagine a sea of mush acai, with granola, bananas, pineapple, mango and coconut shreds right on top. They are clean for the most part and there's a table or two outside to enjoy fresh air. They offer a variety of yogurts which are natural and full of probiotics. This is a good place to splurge and give your body and stomach a rest with all the junk food you may have indulged yourself with. I really need to come back and try their juices, but until then, I will find other juice bars that are cheaper and hopefully fully organic. I don't think this place is quite there yet. read more

It's no pinkberry but it's still good. I am not a total fan of their frozen yogurt I feel like the taste lacks a little something. You walk in and head to the back and they have about 12 flavors to pick from. I stick to the vanilla or the peach they are the only two I can handle the others just taste way too artificial for my taste buds. They have lots of toppings to pick from and secret ones you have to ask for like the cheesecake bits! I ordered them but wasn't too happy with the flavor... I usually stick to fruits and granola here. The best thing about red mango isn't the frozen yogurt! At this location it's the view!!! Really terrible experience today from the blonde girl when I walked in with my girlfriend, there was one other person in there when we walked in and she served them. We literally were standing there for over 5 minutes as the only people in the store and another customer walked in and was helped IMMEDIATELY before us. We weren't even acknowledged or addressed and when I brought it upto her she just said I should have been standing at the register even though we were clearly waiting to be helped in front of the counter. We both felt like we might as well have been invisible because that's how we were treated UNNECESSARILY when we were just trying to get a smoothie. Maybe it was a racial thing? We will never know. This is my go to for a sweet cold treat. Place is a decent size. Outside seating too. I went on a nice day in February - the only one for weeks. It was the best cure for a hangover. The place is clean and topping are always filled. It's sooooo clean actually which is great. Never even a sprinkle on the counter between the different toppings. I've never had a problem with the people who work there. They have always been courteous to me and whoever I'm with. Guess I never caught the mean lady. Alright so about their flavors. The Nutella one might sound perfect but it's not great. The peach is heavenly. Not a huge fan of the pomegranate flavor even though I love raw poms. Peanut butter is great. Vanilla is vanilla. I'm really disappointed in their original tart though... the past few times I've tried it... it was super watery... and not tart and yum! Décor: Clean, modern, only a few seats indoors and outdoor. Service: If you want a taste, you have to tell the cashier and they will personally fill your tasting cup... and make sure you pick 2 or 3 flavors you want to try... cause they'll bounce on you after that! lol Cost: Average weight cost for froyo, filled up small cup is around $5 Overall: I hope they'll be rotating their flavors throughout the summer, and I hope they fix the original tart taste. The frozen yogurt was not good at all. Had a weird taste to it. The fresh strawberries that were displayed were rotten. The excuse given about the weird taste was that the company changed the recipe for the yogurts. Even when I expressed my feedback about the weird taste since I clearly was not going to eat it I was not offered a discount or refund. How can you alter a simple vanilla recipe. I had a horrible experience with an associate who works there. I came in with a BOGO coupon and the associate said that I had to print out the coupon when I know for a fact that other people have come here and have just shown the coupon on theIr phones. So as my two yogurts are melting, I show her another Facebook coupon. This associate proceeds to lie to my face and tells me there is no redemption button. Until I walked in at 940 pm (mind you the door and website say 11pm is when they close) the associates were cleaning and literally denied me of the smoothie bowl I wanted saying they were about to close .
