This is my SPOT! I come here after workouts and love the classic açaí bowl. The tropical pitaya and peanut butter protein bowls are also very good. I've never eaten inside, but it's decent decor (just get to-go). The girls making the bowls are pretty quick and always offer a smile. This is the only place I get my açaís in Jersey!

Bowl Shake is fantastic! Great options: smoothies, bowls and wellness shots. I tried their Mango Aloha shake and added ginger + it was perfect. We also tried their flu shot which I will add to my regular rotation. I tried their nutter butter which isn't typically my type of smoothie and it was aaamazing! The interior is beautiful and comfortable, with wall design by @uncuttart. They have a swinging bench and a few tables, it's very IG-worthy. The staff are super helpful + friendly too. I love this spot and it's definitely a regular stop when I'm in town. Ambience: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5 BowlShake: 5/5

Blueberry Acai Bowl and Tropical Pitaya - good stuff!

My fiancée and I were in the mood for a light dinner when he suddenly suggested acai bowls. Really glad to see there's an acai bowl spot right here, very convenient. We got the Blueberry Acai Bowl and Tropical Pitaya - both were very tasty! Everything was packed freshly onsite. The lady at the counter was kind and efficient. It was very empty on a Tuesday night but no complaints:) Cool vibes inside with a swing set and graffiti.

We were having a LOT of greasy food so we kinda wanted to detox so acai bowls came up and we saw the reviews here so we decided to check it out. Bowl Shake is your typical healthy acai bowl/smoothie/shake place and the interior is not big, but it has a photo op. We visited early on a Thursday morning and the place was empty -- we were the only people there, but there were folks going in and out picking up bowls and such. I got the regular acai bowl (the default one) and my friends ordered some shakes. Acai bowls are good as long as the acai content is good and the fruit is fresh. Luckily -- all those criterion met for us, and I really enjoyed my acai bowl! You can also do agave or honey on top -- I opted for honey which added a sweet kick to the bowl. The strawberries were very fresh and I felt so rejuvenated after eating this bowl! I'm not a person who craves acai bowls 24/7 but I was very satisfied here, and if I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to check this place out again!

Loved it! I usually like very tangy açaí but the creamy sweet açaí with the fresh tangy fruits, coconut and granola was a very well balanced blend. I could eat another bowl :)

This place BY FAR makes one of the best açaí bowls I've ever had! First, the UNIQUE menu pops out. I had somewhat of a tough choice to make, because they all sounded soooo good. The amount of ingredients they put in a bowl is we'll worth the money spent, almost 10 ingredients in total! Second, the bowl is FILLED-UP to the brim. Once I set my bowl down, and tried to go in with my spoon I had some minor spillage. Most places do not fill their bowls to the top, and I leave feeling cheated. NOT this place! Next, is the TASTE. Every ingredient was fresh, and had VIBRANT colors. With each bite I wanted to rush the next spoonful of bursting flavor on my tastebuds. What stood out the most was the açaí. It was SILKY-SMOOTH and CREAMY! There is definitely some technique used here to get it to this texture and flavor. Last, but not least was the FRIENDLY service! I discovered that this was a mother-daughter duo, and who knows how to feed you better than mom. Very hospitable, and kind. In conclusion never before have I had an açaí bowl taste this way. Usually, in most places, they are too cold with frozen chips mixed in, just not blended correctly, bowl is not filled up, ingredients not enough, and too expensive. This place makes these bowls the complete opposite than everyone else. You definitely feel like you've gotten your money's worth, and leaving your tastebuds happy. FYI: They offer more than just açaí bowls. Menu also includes: pitaya bowls, juices, smoothies, protein shakes and wellness shots. NOTE: They give discounts if you are: 1) Teacher 2) Law Enforcement 3) Regular customer (reward points) 4) Member of "Anytime Fitness" gym

I was slightly disappointed that they weren't serving juices because their machine was down, but my second choice (a smoothie) was great! I chose the Green Machine smoothie and loved it; it had a nice subtle sweetness to it and tasted wonderfully refreshing. The walls are cutely decorated, including a graffiti wall with a swinging bench and a checkered wall with pink tiles and fake grass. I'd love to come back to try their juices, so I'm hoping their machine is back up and running again soon!

This place is totally worth the 20 minute drive! I have been here quite a few times and let me tell you I will definitely keep coming back. My favorite time to pay a visit is for breakfast! Every single bowl that I have tried here has been delicious. I love that here you don't feel like you're eating 10 pounds of sugar. The bowls are super refreshing and on the healthier side. The menu ranges from bowls, to smoothies, to wellness shots. Just what you need to get your day started!

I love healthy food, what better than a good bowl of açai, super fresh and delicious, they make it to you at the moment without much waiting, they sell natural juices without sugar (you can add to your liking) I recommend the bowl with banana, raspberry, protein and honey.

Hidden gem in Cliffside Park! Very tasty and fruity pitaya bowl and shake. It tasted really fresh. Staff were welcoming and helpful. She gave me recommendations based on what is popular. Music is great (they played Drake and 6lack). Interior is really cool and instagrammable with the graffiti wall, swing, and quotes all over. Will visit again for a refreshing drink and great atmosphere!

Lol Definitely recommend this place... and don't forget to take your IG pics .. lol perfect place for it.

Food- Mango Aloha (Almond Milk substituted for Orange Juice)

Excellent juice place in the Cliffside Park/Edgewater area. With plenty of street parking and a convenient location, Bowl Shake is a great spot to pick up a freshly made smoothie or an acacia bowl. The interior is well decorated. It has a modern and trendy look to it. The menu has a fair amount of options, but also allows customers to customize their drinks in a pretty easy way. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of their offerings and the area. They seem to be a family owned and operated business. They were very polite and double checked to make sure my order was as I expected. I really appreciated that! Overall, I would definitely return. I've recommended Bowl Shake to a few friends and they all seem to have enjoyed it. A great addition to the area!

I've been enjoying meals here since 2021 and I've never been disappointed. Füdgarten is the ideal spot to grab a healthy bite during a lunch break, after a work out, or for dinner. There's plenty of seating inside if you want to dine in. The interior is modern, clean, and inviting with lots of greenery. Their menu is built on natural ingredients and bold flavors. You can choose from diverse options like salads, bowls, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, protein shakes, etc. They use grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, wild-caught seafood, and locally sourced organic fruits and vegetables. They carefully craft their recipes and every item is made with love and care! Yes, the prices are on the higher end. But I'm happy to pay for higher quality food... because what you put into your body matters A LOT ;) I've tried a little bit of everything and they're all delicious. The food is packed with vibrant flavors and generous portions of protein. My top recommendation would be the Big NY (~$16). It includes steak, onion, mushrooms, romaine, feta, and lemon cilantro vinaigrette. I usually get it on a whole wheat wrap and it is to die forrrrrrrrr!!! The steak is super juicy and tender. All of the ingredients work so well together! One bite and I was in love. I also love getting a side of baked sweet potato fries ($6). Even the ketchup they use is organic and only made with REAL tomatoes. Don't forget to grab a bottled Kombucha ($5) from their fridge - a tangy, fizzy, sweet, and refreshing drink! The owner, Mike, is the man!!! Haha he's very welcoming, personable, and really cares about customer service. He's the type of business owner that will remember your name and order. And the cherry on top... they have their own parking lot. That's a major perk in this area. If you haven't been here before... get to it!

It's where we had our official first date at…read more It's within the park, and there's plenty of ample parking around the park with a short walk down to the Playa Bowls. Bathroom The bathroom is for customers only, and you get the code from within. It's a GORGEOUS bathroom, well-kept. There are public restrooms outside of the establishment that are not that great, but if you don't want to buy something make sure to have some hand sanitizer with you. They're clearly the park's bathrooms and not the establishments responsibility. Seating There is no seating indoors, which is a bummer. I would love to enjoy the atmosphere of this park some more from inside. Especially on a hot summer day, I'm in no mood to get burned by the metal chairs overlooking the lake. Needless to say, the views are stunning even while just waiting for our food to be ready! Park Itself I haven't experienced this park in full depth as much as I want to because like I said, there's no seating inside. There is small walking trails, but whenever we go, weather is not on our side. The first time we came here, it started raining and we created an in-car theatre instead which was lovely! But in general, after that, and since it's been diabolically hot ever since we've always took our meals back into the car. There are cars driving up at the bottom of the park, right next to Playa Bowls. It caught me off-guard, so if you're with kids or pets be sure to keep an eye out for them. Selection I love the fact that there is something so healthy to eat in a gorgeous spot! There is a HUGE selection, and I love being able to try a new bowl each time. My favorite so far has been the Pink Flamingo. It is a cold treat, so it is perfect on a hot summer day! Be mindful that protein powder can give some people an upset stomach or the runs, and if you're sensitive, I suggest trying a bowl that doesn't include that. Each item lists ingredients, and you can customize it to your needs. I have not been able to finish a full bowl myself, and get full off of 3/4 of it. My man has finished his and whatever is left over of mine. It is satisfying for a big burly man like himself though. Other Notable Mentions The establishment also has a bowl of water of dogs walking through the park if they need a quick drink, which I think is the sweetest thing ever! There's also a Cuban coffee shop, Rumbas Cafe, right across from Playa Bowls. I haven't been in it myself yet, but I did try one of the coffees my man ordered himself briefly one day. Overall I hope to see some indoor seating open up soon. There is an upstairs, but supposedly it's locked to the public still. Crossing my fingers that it's in the works! Everyone who works here is really nice, and our food is always done quite quickly. The shop is well-lit and has AC. Great park for photo ops, walking, dates, and/or family-time. Well-thought out location for a great treat!

They sell smoothies, meal replacement shakes, cold-pressed juices, and wellness shots. There's a large variety of fruits, vegetables, and superfood add-ons. In addition to drinks, they also have a limited food/snack menu - smoothie bowls, salad, soup, protein bites, overnight oats, impossible burger, etc. They even sell sea moss! Everything is fresh. There's plenty of vegan options. Service was standard and quick. I wish the employee was more interactive and enthusiastic. I told her it was my first visit, and she didn't really give me too many recommendations or explain the menu/products very well. They have a decent amount of tables and seating inside. Other than froyo, they also serve juices, smoothies, power bowls, and coffee. They have 6 froyo machines with 12 different flavors - a mix of sweet, nutty, tarty, and fruity. There aren't any nutrition facts posted on the machines, so be mindful of dietary restrictions/allergies. You can ask the staff for sample cups. It's all self-serve so you choose your cup, pick your flavors, dispense the handle, and swirl away. Then you can add on as many toppings as you want at the counter. I got the Creamy Taro and Original flavors with strawberries, gummy bears, and mochi. The froyo texture was just right - not too icy and not too watery. It had a smooth, soft-serve like texture. The flavors were true to their names and tasted exactly how they're supposed to. The original was tarty and tangy, just how I like it. My cup was about $9. Service could have been a bit better. There were two employees at the time. They didn't greet customers or tend to them at the machines.
