The decadence of the chocolate was exquisite. I had a great time at the ROYCE' Chocolate tasting event this past weekend. There were so many beautiful and unique chocolate concoctions from talented chocolatiers. I wish I could've been able to test out more of the chocolate varieties, but the ones that I was able to sample were wonderful. The charisma and friendliness when you enter is extremely welcoming. The smell of chocolate is rich and aromatic. The prices can become a little out of your price range if you aren't careful or if you're looking to binge. But that's what I'd expect from premium high quality chocolate! I absolutely recommend coming here if you're in the area!

There's really nothing like royce chocolate. It combines the best flavor and feeling I've ever had with a chocolate. Kind of makes all other chocolate seem worthless.

I visited today ,originally for a special and I couldn't resist all the yummy chocolate. I had to purchase. The store is located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace. There are lots of foods sold in this market, that you can't resist. I was greeted by a wonderful gentleman named Will. He explained thoroughly all the chocolate's to me , I even got samples. I was sold on their white chocolate, it was soft, smooth and sooo good. I also got a discount on the chocolate's I purchased (which I appreciated so much) Thank you Will. It's a small space that can get crowded, just be patient you will be serviced . I will definitely return, and can't wait to eat my chocolate's.

This is my second time here for the Yelp elite event and of course I enjoyed it because we buy chocolate from here often. Everything here is top quality, and reasonably priced. The quality in my opinion rivals any high end chocolatier in the local malls and stores. The chocolate is smooth and not cloyingly sweet which I often find to be the case. It's holiday season and this is our goto hostess gift. We will keep coming back.

Royce is located inside the Mitsuwa Marketplace - when you walk in, make a left toward Kai Sweets and then a right. The space isn't large, but the set up is clean and organized. The sales representative was very nice, and also very knowledgeable. I learned about Royce a while back when one of my good friends gifted me the chocolate covered potato chips - the sales representative said that they were one of their most popular items. They are yummy! Some of their chocolates are seasonal and only available once a year. That being said, I bought one of them - the "Kokutoh Bar Chocolate", which has purple yam and a cookie crunch. They taste so good - 10/10! It did cost me $15.99 for 6 pieces, but the quality of the chocolate was worth it (for once a year lol).

I love Royce chocolates. So glad I got to go back for the Elite event. My family and I shop here not infrequently. Honestly every single thing I have ever tasted here is amazing. The peach white chocolate we sampled tastes just like a peach. Not that fake peach kind of flavor. The dark chocolate is so rich and flavorful without being overly sweet. That's just the samples. I am a huge fan of their matcha bars. And the fruit bars. All so so so good!!!

This place is a "must experience"! Nestled in the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Edgewater, NJ (an attraction on its own), Royce' Chocolate is outstanding. The ambiance is elegant and the service is attentive and knowledgeable. The presentation of these delectable treats is beautiful and make a perfect host/hostess gift or, better yet, treat yourself! I got the Green Tea Nama chocolate and I love it with a hot herbal tea - melts in your mouth Suzanne, the store manager is kind and enthusiastic and treated us so kindly. Thank you!

Immaculate store with excellent services. Their chocolates are delicious, but pricy. We buy very rarely, but every purchase we have made so far has been a satisfying experience. I recommend this place to try. You will not be disappointed.

Best chocolate experience I've ever had, and that's saying a lot because I've eaten a ton of chocolate. This is a must-stop destination inside the shopping center. The staff who gave me the tour were super nice, casual, and welcoming. I never felt like I had to pretend to know what I was talking about. They gave an excellent tour of the space, shared the history behind the chocolates, and described the flavors vividly. Of course I got samples, and their descriptions were spot on. I highly recommend stopping in, asking for a tour and samples, and definitely buying some chocolates. The rum raisin is hands-down the best rum raisin, fruit-chocolate I've ever had.

With all things "Halloween", a quick trip over the bridge to Royce for some artisan chocolates and cookies was the right move. Located inside the Mitsuwa matketplace,, this tiny shop was housing big new flavors for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. The host, friendly and knowledgeable, treated us to an improptu tasting of the new flawors. The white chocolate peach w/peach liquor, Hakutou, was a refreshing bite I could not get enough of. The matcha and hojicha chocolate was silky and smooth with a eathy edge that complimented the other flavors. A new lemon white chocolate flavored potato chip was a tangy surprise and the matcha hazelnut baton cookie was decadent wiithout being too heavy on the pallet. The Yelp swag bag was another " treat" crammed wih merch and an additional assortment of chocolate samples from Royce including a discount on a future in-store purchase. Great experience, see you soon.

I was so excited to see Royce in the Mitsubishi Marketplace. I had a bad experience once before due to my own lack of knowledge about the chocolate. I didn't let that happen this time. I purchased the Nama Chocolate in Stawberry Milk and Au Lait. I did sample the Au Lait in store and it was so rich and creamy. I was able to successfully get them back home to Charlotte. My niece loved them. We shared each box. Savoring each little square. I liked both flavors. The Au Lait has a cocoa dust on them and leave a residue on your fingers. The Strawberry Milk is a good white chocolate taste mixed with the fruity strawberry notes. So yummy. These chocolates make a great gift. I need to start saving now for the next time I visit. At $20 a box they are well worth the price. Royce 595 River Rd Ste 852 Edgewater, NJ 07020 (Review 39 in 2024 and 839 overall)

This was my favorite chocolate; it's crunchy and has a little salt, but it's delicious.
    Patricia S.

I loved the experience; the chocolates are delicious and diferent any others I've tried. I also appreciated the service and the manager's attention.

    What I decided to buy
    Yasmina H.

The manager advised me immediately of what chocolates had liqueur in them and were very kind about it, I didn't even have to ask because she noticed my hijab (Suzanne). I really appreciated that. The chocolate is decadent I was excited to have some chocolate from diff parts of the world like Madagascar and Vietnam as well as sweet and salty combo like chocolate with chips and some chocolate with nuts! The store is cute and organized.

One candy that I see in video reviews (not sure other their name, but they look like skulls) where not in my order. That was a bit of a disappointment. I figure once I go in person, I will try them. I had a really nice mix of both sour and sweet candies. I really enjoyed them. I received some of those soft candies and they were good but, not amazing. I am not a fan of black licorice. There were several types in my bag. That was the major negative about not being able to choose the candy myself. The quantity of candy was larger than I expected.. A yummy experience. I look forward to going to the store and choosing an experiencing with the entire selection.

I thought that was odd but people are weird. She even almost bumped into someone trying to walk in. She then accuses me of stealing the mug. I was confused and said I put it down and continued on my way, but I'm annoyed that a company that I frequented often with my older kids would accuse me of stealing. If you were watching so closely you should have done a better job and watched me place it back down. How outrageously inappropriate it was to try and smile and play with my 10 month old while you were moments away from accusing his mother. As much as my older kids like It's Sugar I'm going to be thinking twice before purchasing anything there ever again. Maybe it's for the best and I should be supporting local businesses. That velvety olive oil richness hits you up front with confidence and elegance, like a well-dressed Italian man offering you espresso and secrets. Sure, the intensity mellows out as you keep eating, but it never disappears--it just evolves. A plot twist in every spoonful. Now, let's talk about the cone. This wasn't your average sad, soggy cone.
