The Old Bay + Parmesan seasonings for the "Crab Your Way" with crispy potatoes, and a side of hush puppies
    Douglas V.

I feel bad I didn't get our server's name but he's early 20s, blonde middle part hair, with a forearm tattoo sleeve. He was a great server for us. He got all of our order correct, made sure we were ok without asking too frequently. We also went to Red Lobster to check out their new service since CEO Damola took over. I gave the new Old Bay + Parmesan seasonings on the Crab Your Way a shot and it didn't disappoint. A little salty but that's what the Tropical White Sangria was for, which was a breathe of island fruity breeze.

My wife and I ate dinner there on August 2nd. We had, I think they call it, Rocket Shrimp as an appetizer. It was very tasty, the sauce was delicious. The cheddar biscuits were delicious as always. She had the baradi crab legs, crispy potatoes, and steamed broccoli. The crab was tender, sweet, delicious. The crispy potatoes were delicious, they needed salt but so nice and crispy. The steamed broccoli was cooked perfectly but also lacked salt. I had the stuffed flounder, Mac and Cheese, Brussel sprouts. The fish was tender, the sauce was delicious. The bacon Mac and Cheese was very tasty. Lots of bacon. Needed a little more sauce but very tasty. The Brussel sprouts are delicious. Perfectly cooked. Just the right amount of balsamic vinegar. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Glad to see Red Lobster is back! The food was wonderful. The hush puppies were better than I even remember. The margarita flight wasn't too good but it may just be that I'm not a huge drinker. The server was attentive and very friendly. The dining area was clean and nice but the female restroom was horrible and smelled like a sewer. I took a star off for cleanliness of the restroom.

I can't tell you the last time I've been to Red Lobster but I was inspired by posts regarding the $20 Tuesday Crab Legs on TikTok so I said let me go on and see what everyone is talking about. I arrived around prime dinner time and was seated immediately. My 1st server Freddie immediately greeted me and I told him I already knew what I wanted because I was here for the Tuesday Crab Leg special to which he said was a good choice. You can opt for traditional steamed legs or garlic butter and I had to go with the garlic butter because why not!!??!!?? The deal also comes with crispy potatoes and your choice of one side. Once upon a time all entrees came with salads if I recall correctly, yet I guess with inflation over the years that wasn't the case anymore and a side salad as a side has an up charge of $2.49.... so I "splurged" lol and ordered the side salad as my side. As I waited Freddie brought a basket of those delicious cheddar bay biscuits and on first bite, they were just as I remembered .... PURE HEAVEN! Once my meal arrived I was excited to dig in! And let me just say that everything was YUMMY! The only critique I have is that the crab leg shells were a little soft which was unusual (I'm used to them being pretty firm and with the cracking device cracking them it being a bit of a SNAP, yet that wasn't the case) but the meat in those legs came out perfectly and there was zero fight in getting it out. I was checked on a few times throughout my meal by a new server, Marvin, and he ensured that I was enjoying everything and that I had everything I needed. I was able to eat all the crab legs and left 75% of the potatoes, not because they were bad (they were actually delicious), but because I was full! So, this Tuesday deal is truly a GREAT ONE because it's delicious and filling and all for just around $20! Needless to say I'll be back Red Lobster and the Endless Shrimp will be next on my list :)

Red Lobster is always hit or miss but this visit was a hit. Food (5/5): Cheddar Bay biscuits were fresh and hot. The food was great. We came for Lobsterfest. We had coconut shrimp- which were large and freshly fried. Hubby got the seafood stuffed flounder and I had the Lobsterfest special of grilled lobster tail and steamed lobster tail (the grilled was the best). We had sides of salad (fresh simple garden salad), broccoli (steamed with butter and garlic- my favorite), cole slaw (just ok), and mashed potatoes with a special lobster cream sauce (5.50 extra and worth it). Overall, we ended taking half of the meals home (other than the lobster tails) so we got another meal from this.). Service (5/5): the servers were kind and attentive. Value (3/5): The food is really overpriced for what you get and I'm always surprised that Red Lobster is still in business.

Totally forgot til we were done eating...

Started with an espresso martini, a smoked Old Fashioned, and the fritto misto to share. Everything was really good. Then we split the lamb burger and the shrimp risotto for lunch. Both were excellent, although I think the risotto edged out the burger. Our server Mike made the whole experience. Before he even brought us water, he showed up with a bowl for Onyx. Come on, that's an instant five stars in my book. We ended up talking wine with him for a good part of the afternoon. He had us sample a few different pours before we landed on a Nebbiolo we loved. Later, after another conversation about wine, he brought over a taste of a white we'd never even heard of because he thought we'd enjoy trying it. It never felt like an upsell. It just felt like talking with someone who genuinely enjoys wine and likes sharing it with people. Relaxing patio, great food, excellent cocktails, and genuinely memorable service. We'll definitely be back, and Onyx probably will too.

The food was beautifully presented and the wine pairing was superb. Definitely recommend having them pair your wines. The grilled shrimp was a great start. The sparkling rose made the shrimp taste even better. The goat cheese ravioli was probably my favorite savory dish of the evening. The sweet sage-maple syrup-tomato sauce was fantastic. The Sancerre was pleasant with it, although I thought the ravioli itself was more impressive than the pairing. I had to order bread so the sauce wouldnt go to waste. I ordered the lamb medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium, and initially it was somewhat underseasoned. After adding salt and pepper and getting some of the thyme from the plate into the bite, the lamb became significantly better and worked better with the Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The creamed spinach underneath was delicious on its own, but I didn't enjoy it with the wine. Interestingly, the absolute highlight of that wine pairing was the braised garlic. The sweet, mellow garlic and Châteauneuf-du-Pape were wonderful together. Dessert was the highlight of the entire pairing. The lavender ice cream was outstanding, the Chantilly surrounding it was light and delicious, and the strawberry sauce wasn't overly sweet. The Sauternes was excellent with the dessert, particularly with the fresh strawberry. This was the pairing where the food and wine truly made each other better. Even though I was one of the last diners of the evening, I never felt rushed. My server was very attentive and social which I love. It was very romantic and yet comfortable enough that dining alone wasnt awkward. I'd happily return.

What a wonderful experience! The restaurant is a very, quite spacious and very welcoming. It's right next to a lake and so the setting was lovely. We had an indoor/outdoor room with doors that opened to the outside. I had a raspberry lemon martini with a sugared glass rim. Very nicely presented. They have a very varied menu and they also have a large gluten-free menu. We both had the lobster bisque as a starter and then we both ordered the fish tacos. The soup was filled with lots of lobster meat and was delicious. The fish tacos were made with cod and the waiter mentioned that the slaw had some habanero chile in it. I asked if it was spicy and he said it might have a slight kick, but was not spicy. He was absolutely correct and in fact, if he hadn't mentioned the habanero I would not have picked up on it at all. It was really good. If you order bread, (and you have choices on type), you are charged I think a dollar per order, but that is donated to help people who are food challenged. We were full from our dinner, but we could not pass up an order of key lime pie for dessert, which we shared. It was a hard choice because they had a special dessert which was chocolate peanut-butter pie. I wish we could have had both. Their other desserts also sounded great. By the way, a portion of their revenues from desserts are also donated to help those who need food assistance. I was very impressed that they do that. I want to mention that the wait staff was also great. Friendly, attentive, but not over-bearing. I can't say enough about Sweetwster Tavern. Nothing exceptional but good quality, good food And a fair amount of steak in mine for $16. I wish I could say the same about the service or lack there of provided by the two young female servers. For starters, they have zero communication skills. They drop things at the table and just stand there without a word. I did not receive the Vietnamese coffee that I ordered until I asked for it nor was I asked whether or not I wanted it with whipped cream - there's was no description on the menu so I wasn't aware it came with whipped cream. When we placed our order we asked for extra cilantro and received no cilantro at all. Once the runner delivered our food no one came over to ask how everything had turned out, if we needed anything else etc. The lack of communication, lack of attention to detail and quite frankly complete lack of personality turned a pleasant afternoon meal into a disappointment. This was basically a pile of veggie fried rice, with stir fry veggies, with teriyaki chicken on top. I was right around 6 bucks. Once you put your order in, a person scoops either fried or white rice into a Styrofoam container, then pushes it down the line. The next person is cooking up the veggies. Once that is done, they put it over the rice, then push it down to the next person. This person is cooking up the meats. Once the meat is done, they put that on top and you are done. They actually have a pretty good production line ready. They don't cook too much up at a time. I guess they want it to be as fresh as it is. When I was in line more and more people started to come up, as it was dinner time. So they had more of everything cooking so the line could go fast. Taste wise, it was pretty good. Nothing fancy, just plain and simple food. They did give you a lot of rice, and to be honest, the box was pretty heavy. Not too bad for 6 bucks and change. For mall food, it met my expectations. Don't expect this to be a 5 star meal, but for the price, it was good enough =)
