The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the staff was very friendly. However, the restaurant was out of salmon, cod, red shrimp, A1 sauce and a number of other items. The broccoli on the menu photo was spiced. The broccoli I was served was plain. We waited 15 minutes for a server to talk to us, and another 15 minutes for the check. In a 1 hour dinner we spent 30 minutes just waiting for the server. read more

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 51st anniversary by having lunch at the Red Lobster in Spokane, Washington. I ordered a seafood platter with lobster tail, shrimp and scallops. What I got was very overcooked lobster tail that was tough, I couldn't even chew it and undercooked shrimp with tasteless scallops. My husband tried to order halibut, then coho salmon from the "Fresh List", none available and settled for sockeye, broccoli and mashed potatoes and what he got was a whole bunch of broccoli, dry mashed potatoes (no butter) and a small piece of salmon. Waitress was told lobster was tough, no reaction. Gave us the bill and quick to explain joining their loyalty program (must be a small club). Needless to say, it ruined our lunch and part of our day and that will be the last time I try to eat at Red Lobster! read more

I think this restaurant is good but not special. We went there because of the lobsterfest. The food was decent, but everything was the same as in other red lobsters. read more

Haven't been to red lobster in years... The food was OK, the server was terrible... How many times are you going to say you're blonde because I personally, don't care. She brought out our mushrooms then before putting them down, said to us, in the most awkward way possible, that our dish was dirty... She swapped it out and came back quickly with still a dirty dish. We didn't care about the plate it was on, only the plate the mushrooms were in.. The entire experience from then on was awkward and misplaced and I couldn't tell you how many times I heard the word blonde. She needs some serious training and a bit of confidence. As a server and bartender for years, I still tipped the 20%, though it was not deserved. Train your people so I can enjoy my food without feeling awkward in the process. Shes sweet and bubbly but wow. read more

Party of seven for dinner. Cold and under cooked food for all of us. Way over priced. Checked this off restaurants we eat at, never again. Under cooked steak, sent back they cooked it more instead of a fresh one. Who does that? Red Lobster does. read more

Terrible service, understaffed, missing entrée off our plates ordered an appetizer also and it came with no plates to eat on I asked one server for plates and she ignored our request and when we asked our server again for plates we had a party of four and she came back with two plates and said there was no other clean plates in the restaurant read more

We were told we would have a 15 minute wait for a table. It took over 30 minutes and they weren't busy. That's fine. However, once we finally got seated we prompltly got biscuits and drinks and placed our order. Another 30 minutes go by with no food. This is not ok. It was officially past my kids bedtime and still no food. Some lady came to our table and said she noticed our 30 minute food ticket and asked if we wanted to talk to a manager. I said no,I just want to pay my bill and leave. After another 5 minutes wait still no bill. I just got up and left without paying. Never done that before but I had wasted my dinner night with my family. My kids were starving and crying. Thanks Red Lobster for ruining my families night with your insanly pathetic service. read more

Food was really bad! Went there for my birthday since it was lobster fest My lobster and my husband's lobster was rawish even though prepared different ways His steak was raw too, inedible! Will not be going back Yuck read more

Really an excellent restaurant. Great wait staff and wonderful atmosphere. I try to go at least three or four times a months just because my family and I love this place so much. read more

Good food. I love the rolls but the prices are so expensive I can't ever afford to go there.

I have never left a review before but our family had such a negative experience dining last night it had to be done. The server was so focused on upselling, she was borderline deceptive. Management more or less argued with me when I questioned the bill and the way upgrades were sold to me without my knowledge of ridiculous prices and he only slightly adjusted my bill which took him 30 minutes. The food was mediocre but not that far away from Skippers, definitely not $80 worth for two adults and two children. read more

The only nice thing I can say is that the biscuits are good... it seemed everything was already under a hot lamp for an hour or more...I paid extra for asparagus that was dehydrated... the seafood in my dish was rubbery... the manager said it was because we did not have the Maine lobster... I should not have to order a display lobster for decient food at 5 star prices... this just tells me that the staff is lazy and full of excuses... got my money back and I'm never going back... they offered a gift card but I was so repulsed by the food and service I refused.... read more

This was the best restaurant ever till they sold it. Tables can be empty and you have to wait 20 to 30 minutes to be seated. The Clam Chowder taste like can and is more milk than chowder. The salad is much less than before the Business was sold. The main dish is good, but prices are to high for what you get. We had all you can eat Shrimp and we asked for a refill and waited 20 minutes to get more Shrimp. The waiters don't seem to like their job there anymore. We do not go there any longer. read more

I called ahead to the Red Lobster on North Division in Spokane (509 489 2777) and got the automated message. The message stated, and I quote, "Did you know you can join our wait list in advance?" There followed directions on how to enter your name on the wait list online. I followed the directions and received a text message as follows: "Thanks for joining the Waitlist-can't wait to see you." A 40 minute wait was quoted. We drive down and arrived 14 minutes later, then waited for our name to be called. After about 15 minutes my wife suggested that I double check to make sure my name was on the list. The hostess then informed me that she was not honoring the online waitlist. I told her that was not fair. She brazenly replied that it wouldn't be fair to all the other online reservations that she had turned away that day to change her policy and honor mine. I told her, no, what is not fair is to implement an online waitlist system, encourage people to use it when they call, and then inform them later that you have arbitrarily decided that you will not honor your own system. This is absolutely unacceptable for a business. You cannot operate that way. We left because I refuse to patronize a restaurant that treats its customers this way. read more

The service sucked but the food was amazing. If you get a server name Jeff he's and ass. Ask to be switched to a different server. Nothing against red lobster. Their foods amazing. read more

Not a memorable night out. We usually arrive early 4 pm kind of our senior hour. This seems to be the shift change time we had two different servers doing a tag team but still were not properly attended. My wife ordered a shrimp style 20 minutes into the wait our server brought the menu over and asked us to point that out on the menu. When we did so he took the menu in to the kitchen to prove we were not making it up. There were no biscuits cooked we waited 20 minutes for those. My ice tea was refilled at their own good time despite the empty glass being pushed to the edge of the table for good viewing. The food quality was as always good I paused eating my coconut shrimp for a 20 minutes for the twice requested Pina Colada sauce. Previously on our last trip I got the all you can eat shrimp after a 20 minute wait for teriyaki shrimp I was brought a skewer of four shrimp at that point it was clear it would take hours to receive all you can eat shrimp at Red Lobster read more

Tonight I ordered the all you could eat shrimp. The Parmesan crusted, garlic butter, and coconut shrimp were very good. The saracha shrimp was just OK. My wife ordered the sockeye salmon but they were out. Instead she got the Atlantic Salmon which she enjoyed. Service was very friendly and prompt. read more

We were sat right away and then got to stare at our menus for 30 mins. Our waitress kept walking by saying she would be back... 30 mins. Then we get the endless shrimp and didn't even finish the first plate. Shrimp was either over seasoned past edible or cold. Rice was undercooked. Mash potatoes were so salty I only had one bite. Alfredo is lacking flavor. We paid 50 dollars to be hungry still. We wanted to complain to our waitress, but we only saw her when she dropped off the check. The manager I believe was bussing tables and we tried to flag him down when our waitress was no where to be seen and we were told to wait a moment and he would be back... never came back. It was not busy enough for a Thursday afternoon and more staff than waiters. Can't believe this used to be the "fancy" place. Saving the money and buying shrimp for home. read more

i love the red lobster. they are an excellent in their food, service and prices. i can not get enough of red lobster. their staff is wonderful. i personally like going into the bar and having a bite to eat along with a drink or few and watch the sports. in fact i would like to give kudos to one of their bar tenders by the name of scott. he is exceptionally quick, friendly, and has great service. i do wish they would bring back the stuffed tilapia... one of my favorites... but the lobster nachos is always a treat too... read more

This is a restaurant that I would definitely come back to. It was quite a long wait for me to get a table, but they were very good at recognizing that it took long and gave me a free appetizer. I didn't need it but it was nice of them to do. The service was very good and our waitress was excellent. The food was enjoyable and was cooked nicely. Also they put these biscuits on your table which are so good. Five Stars read more

Why oh why did I go back to Red Lobster, I gave up on it about 10 years ago when I lacked the pallet of a 6 year old. I gave it a whirl with my husband because it's been so many years since we're been and I immediately regret it. If I wanted microwaved food I could have had a child make a better seafood dinner at my house for a quarter of the price. The staff is nice so that's a great benefit, plus the biscuits are always okay. I should have known better on this one. Pleas don't waste your time or money! Shop and eat local! Support the local businesses that actually have good food versus the crappy chains! I was forced to give this a minimum of one star..it really deserves a negative 5 star. read more

I had an awful experience at the Division Red Lobster. The kitchen manager was extremely rude to me and my family, I will not be back.

As others have said Overpriced and not so good food, atmosphere and wait staff ok.My wife and I both grew up on the east coast and love good seafood,so we may be a bit opionated and higher expectations.Ive been to red lobsters before and knew what too expect. In a nutshell my wifes bloody mary was very weak, they were out of horseradish for oysters(are you kidding me!),snow crab legs were very salty, fried calamari and veggies was too lean on the squid and too heavy on the broccoli, stuffed mushrooms were small and too rich and buttery and also seemed devoid of much actual seafood(lobster looked suspiciously like logansteenos),shrimp with crab sauce were also too rich and buttery. And on the bright side the biscuits are pretty good.I was also surprised to see only one tiny lobster in the tank in the lobby. For a live lobster dinner in spokane i will stick with "Blues at the bend",good qulity meal and good bang for the buck, plus live music or comedy. read more

Had a date night with my wife last night after watching Captain America 3D. The meal was much better than the movie. Service (by Jessica) was outstanding even at 8:30 pm. We expected they might be out of a few things, but just the talapia and salmon, which we were not interested in. We started with an appetizer of a variety of seafood. Each was fantastic. Then came the biscuits. We ate the whole basket!! We shared the Dueling Lobsters. Each side was stuffed with crab or shrimp and each was excellent. The four stars instead of five was for the salad, which was swimming in dressing and the asparagus, which had a odd taste. Jessica took great care of us, service was prompt, when splitting the dish, we each got our own salad bowl and plate of course. Will definitely go back. read more

Christmas Eve 6:30 p.m. I ordered 3 NY strip steak and rock lobster to go from the Spokane WA Red Lobster. $150.00 and a $30,00 tip and icy roads later at home I discovered there were no biscuits included. (Adults are big crybabies about no biscuits.) I called and told them the problem and was offered no solution except to drive the icy roads back and get there before 8:00 when they closed. I couldn't do that. January 10th I ordered one steak & lobster to go and told them about my previous experience. When I got ready to leave I looked in the bag and told them there was no salad included. So I waited...and waited and finally got a salad. No apology, no offer of any compensation. I won't be back. read more

This Red Lobster just opened in Spokane and is a hot spot. I hadn't been to Red Lobster since I was younger and figured I would try it. Since when did Red Lobster become so pricey? Anyways, because it just opened and it is so popular, my friend and I waited for at least 30 minutes for a table which I would usually not complain about because this just means I can go to the bar and enjoy a drink while I wait. Well, we did this and order a Mango Mai Tai which tasted like juice and which I seriously doubt there was any alcohol inside. When we finally got seated, our waitress was a little slow at getting out salads and taking orders. In her defense, it was extremely busy. I ordered the choose two combo and got seafood stuffed sole and snow crab legs. The snow crab legs were great but the I couldn't even force down the seafood stuffed sole. The cheddar biscuits were really good though. I would go back for crab legs and a non-mixed drink and hope that I got a different server and that the wait would be shorter...For now I am just going to stay away until things settle down there. read more

Service was good. But for a overly expensive Seafood dinner I was completely disappointed in quality and quantity. Red Lobster has become just another fast food chain restaurant. Food was served right after we got our salad - we felt rushed. Biscuits are even smaller then last year. Again service great - But it is best to go to Anthony's and pay the same for a fresher seafood dinner. Will not stop in again :( read more

Took my wife and daughter the other day for endless shrimp. While we were seated quickly, we were repeatedly passed by several of the wait staff. When our waitress finally came over it seemed as though we were hassling her. We ordered a two sodas and water and this is where the problems started. The waitress forgot the soda and to take our order. We had to ask for the Cheddar Bay biscuits and about 10 minutes later 4 came out and we had to ask to order. Eventually we ordered and about 20 minutes later our shrimp came out cold. Not able to eat most of the food, we let the waitress know it was cold and tried to order more. Apparently this was a huge undertaking as it took another 15-20 minutes and the food was completely inedible. Thank goodness for these biscuits, but nearly an hour in, we needed more biscuits and were never brought any more. Eventually, I went to talk to the manager and she must have said something to the waitress as her attitude went to 11. I could go on and on, but the gist... stay away. Bad food and worse service. Too bad, too. We used to love Red Lobster and now even the commercials make my skin crawl. read more

Went to Red Lobster (Northtown) last night hoping to enjoy a wonderful birthday dinner for our daughter ~ WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Took minimum 20-25 minutes to get a drink. Ordered appetizers & meals. AFTER we finally received our appetizers, it took minimum 50 minutes to get our main dishes, which were cold, and we had to ask for! I asked for a manager, but no manager on premises. A cook finally came to our table to indicate that they were short staffed, which he did say was not an excuse and not our problem. I informed him that tables around us had been seated after us, had their meals, already left, with the tables then being refilled with new customers, who had already their meals. While they did deduct half of our bill for our "inconvenience", we decided to not leave a tip! That is an earned benefit! WILL. NEVER. RETURN. read more

Horrible experience. Our waitress forgot our order and the manager was putting out fires left and right with other customers. The floors were disgusting. We paid extra for a side of sweet potatoes that came out looking like baby vomit. Do not come here for anything special. read more

Well, if it was only for food, I would 'be rated it 5 stars, because the food was excellent and portions were more than enough. But I reduced one star because the girl who was taking our order misleads do us toward adding extra food. The other missing star was also because of the same girl, who was not acting courteously, and she was ignoring my child whenever he tried to ask her about the food and menus. Hope she'll change her attitude in the future. read more

Just thought I would take a moment since everyone is so quick to always write a review on negativity. our family has visited red lobster on North division probably close to once per month for the last six months every time we have dined there, there has been a gentleman I guess his name is Bo ? I took the time to ask tonight, he is so quick friendly and helpful looks like he is a man wearing many capes quick to fetch refills extra plates bus tables help seat expedite food, shorter gentleman with a goatee hopefully I have the right name he deserves kudos. Food was OK service was all right I find it a little rude when the server is pushing your check presenter in front of you before your dessert even hit your table pleasantly lol reminding you here's this when you're ready it would be nice if they would wait till you were done eating before they asked for their tip. This location has really gone down hill. Our family had been to both North Spokane and CdAlene locations, feeling that the CdAlene location was not worth going back to; however, the North Spokane location had always been good enough for a return visit. This is no longer the case. We went on a Wednesday at 6:30 pm and shortly after ordering our meals we were told they just sold out of the salmon - of which both my husband and I ordered. So we got new menus to try again, choosing between different sides because the original meal came with two but the new choices only had one. It was nutty. The food came, it was ok but not the quality I expect for the price and one of our side dishes was forgotten. The service was lacking. The hostesses (3 upon entry) were all too busy talking with each other to greet us upon entering. They noticed us, we were the only three in the lobby, they just weren't quite ready for the interruption. One went to look for a table for us, apparently the perfect table because it took a good deal of time and there were several empty tables. Upon her return, another host asked if we were "ready yet?" Our server was friendly, but we sat for awhile with empty glasses. We chose this restaurant for our daughter's 14th birthday dinner before a game at the arena because it is moderately priced, we wouldn't have to mess with downtown parking, and they're food had always been satisfactory. With our previous experiences at the CdAlene location and this recent experience, this will no longer be a choice to be considered. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. This was my first time here although I have lived in Spokane for over a year now. The service was good and pleasant, from the hostess, person who took us to our seats to server. The food prompt, hot and good from Caesar salad to main course. The Pina Colada was the best I had in a while. It was not too crowded and very clean, and a pleasant atmosphere. Overall one of my new favorite places. Thank you! read more

Had to share our experience from today. We sat there for 15 minutes no one ever came and offered us drinks, two or three people walked by and said nothing, I got up to go to the front area to ask for someone to help us I came back to the table and the waitress was telling my friend that she was to busy chit chatting with another customer and was sorry.. My friend had a few things to say to her and she said she go and get someone to help us and after another 5 minutes no one ever showed up... After that we decided to leave then a another waitress was coming towards us and said you leaving, well of course we're leaving. Went to the front desk asked for the manager and he took 5 more minutes to get up there and they weren't busy. He finally came up and apologize for the waitresses actions and offered us a gift card and then we left so I don't know if I'm ever going to go back because one of the number one things is customer service!!!! #notahappycustomer #poorservice read more
