World famous cheddar bay biscuits-been awhile since I've eaten at a Red Lobster, but have these bad boys shrunk!?
Shanna F.

I had a weird experience lol I ordered to go on their website, got the text telling me what time the food will be ready at. My son and I pulled in and they only have 2 to-go parking spaces. We drove a loop around the parking spaces while I decided what we were going to do lol I parked and we went in the restaurant. Both of the to go parking spaces with the cars in them were empty I noticed as we walked in. The hostess asked how many & I told her we were picking up a Togo order. She told me that to pick up I needed to go over to the bar under the "ToGo" sign. So we go 5 steps over there. There was a guy standing at the bar under the sign so I kind of stood off to the side behind him? The 2 bartenders were messing around with ice or something? Paying no attention to anyone. The hostess set a table in the bar. Finally a lady came out from the back and asked if I had a pick up? I said yes & she asked for a receipt? I pulled out my phone and she said "just show me something that shows you bought something" The whole thing just felt odd. Anyway, food wasn't very warm when we got home. I feel like our food possibly was done earlier than the time it said and they don't alert you? I understand it's To Go though and it will never be as good as fresh, but I was not impressed and I WON'T be doing that again.

We had a tasty lunchtime at the Spokane location. Everything was very fresh and done right! Generous portions. Good attentive service! Will be back soon!

Crispy Brussels Sprouts

I used to love this place as a kid, but either their food changed or my palette changed. I found the Brussels sprouts quite greasy and felt like they gave me almost immediate indigestion , the coconut shrimp sauce was way too sweet and milky, and the shrimp was just a little tough. However, the cheddar bay biscuits continue to be delicious and their peach lemonade was good, too. And the staff was very kind! No bad reflection on them at all.

It's a short walk from the Parkade and they had a small outdoor seating area and I took a seat and I waited outside for my friend. The inside looks clean and inviting as well but in nice weather who can resist sitting outside? We both partook of one of their unique cocktails and our waitress was helpful in questions about menu items. My friend had the beet salad and I had the wedge salad with grilled chicken. Both salads were delectable! We sat outside chatting well after they closed between their lunch and dinner crowd and our waitress told us to take all the time we wanted which I appreciated. I will be back if the opportunity arises (without the hubby!).

They are like overly fancy, to the max pickle. I'm not saying it's a pickle, because they are not "pickled", but, but, how do I say it....fresh, crunchy, tasty, with a good "kick". Have to look good for my new lady. BTW- great ambiance. Large hole-in-wall. Dimly lit. People talking. Not loud. Good energy. Lots of different kind of whiskey. I ordered the hanging tenderloin medium rare based on her recommendation, and she was also more than happy to add some greens on the side when I asked. I really appreciate that Mizuna makes a point of using vegetables from local farms. The dish almost reminded me of something you might get at a traditional Lyonnaise restaurant, but with a more modern and refined touch. The beet salad, though, was a piece of art. I would honestly come back just for this dish. The beets had an almost candied quality without being overly sweet, and they worked beautifully with the freshness of the mint and the creamy chèvre mousse. Fantastic balance of flavors and textures. Great atmosphere, genuinely warm hospitality, and food that feels thoughtful without being overly complicated. Mizuna was a really enjoyable surprise.
