Red lobster has always been my favorite chain Restaurant. I will say it has had its ups and downs and this specific location can be hit or miss. Luckily this time that we went we had a pretty good experience there was no wait time, we were sat right away, and our server was really friendly and attentive. One down side was that they only had one cook and he was new according to our waiter. So our food took a longer than expected but the taste and quality was still good. I will say we don't come as often for Ed lobster mainly because the prices have gotten a little expensive and i usually prefer local spots instead. Everything we ordered was really good with the lobster dip appetizer being amazing and i also really Enjoyed my crab your way plate. However the potatoes were a little to greasy and burnt for my liking. Overall are experience went well and i would return again. read more

Was looking forward to going to Red Lobster until this one. Arrived around 2:15 PM. No one greeted us. Service was exceptionally slow. Didn't get our order taken until 2:50 PM. They quickly brought out our drink order to avoid the Happy Hour price. Would have been a nice recovery. The food was good though although upgrading to the roasted asparagus as a side for $4 for 5 spears was a bit of a stretch. A typical Red Lobster but lacking the attention to customer service. The drinks were overpriced for what you got, the silverware was nasty; it definitely wasnt washed from the previous user, the food wasn't overly enticing (probably the worst prepared lobster I've ever had) and the service was only so so. Haven't been to a Red Lobster in 10++ years, and Roberto provided excellent service. Came to try the Surf and Turf Wednesday deal and Happy Hour. Lobster was great, and while the steak was cooked to my preference, it was extremely tough and hard to cut and eat. Some pieces could not be swallowed. The biscuits were warm and fresh but it seemed like they put additional salt on top of the biscuits, which I don't remember, and was not needed. The Happy Hour Margaritas were good size but I'm not even sure if you get a shot of tequila?? They were extremely light on the alcohol. Came to the restaurant around 6:30pm on a Friday and waited about 45 minutes to be seated. The place seemed pretty understaffed, which might explain why everything was moving slowly. Our table came specifically to try the seafood boil, so we ordered right away since we already had our eyes on the Mariners Boil. We ordered two, and were told the wait for seafood boils was long -- our food ended up coming out about 40 minutes later. The seafood boil itself was not bad. The shrimp were juicy, the crab legs were okay, and the lobster tail was pretty good. I do wish the corn was cooked a bit softer. The bag also came with potatoes, which was nice. Overall, I'd rate the seafood boil a 7.5/10. Not bad, but I'm not sure I'd come back specifically for it again. read more

We went to Red Lobster last Thursday afternoon after a Doctor's appointment for a late lunch, and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. Like, when you know when you leave an appointment a little drained and just want something comforting? That was us. They were having their Lobsterfest going on, which felt like a fun little bonus. Delicious seafood!! I absolutely love this spot -- especially the seafood boil they're offering now! Everything was super fresh, seasoned perfectly, and came out piping hot. Sunday, around noon, we decided to have seafood at Red Lobster in Riverside. It was not crowded. As my friend and I walked in, there was a man holding the door for us. My friend is disabled and was walking with a cane. Took us awhile to enter but the gentleman, with great patience, still held the door open. Our waitress was Tammy. I wound up having a peach Long Island iced tea, which was fantastic. We ordered calamari which was done OK. My friend had crab legs. Outstanding! The general manager came over and showed her how to crack the crab two different ways. Imagine to our surprise that man was the person that held the door open for us. I had the grilled lobster, shrimp, salmon. What impressed me the most, the lobster and shrimp were not overcooked. Both were moist. Had great seasoning on them. Salmon was cooked to perfection, also. It had been quite a long period of time since I had been to that specific Red Lobster Outstanding service and dinner. My friend went to Red Lobster in Torrance two days later. The Manager Alejandra was exceptional in handling a situation that was very difficult. My son has Autism and loves Red Lobster for many reasons. The kind staff, the wonderful clean ambiance and exceptional shrimp. But the compassion they show him is always above and beyond. But on this day I used the Red Lobster app and had his food delivered. ( yes, Red Lobster Delivers) the purchase was confirmed to be drop off at 12:33pm at 12:56 no food. My son was pacing back and fourth waiting for his food. I called to find out what happened and immediately the staff went into action to find out why I had not received it as the remember sending it out. Alejandra was so compassionate to the situation. We have come to this location several times. In general, the service is terrible so I'm not fully sure why we have kept trying. The food is ok. The biscuits are great. Yesterday was definitely the last visit. When we walked in, almost in unison, we both ask each other, what is that smell? I thought it was rain mixed with perfume and my husband thought it was just prefume. The manager was there and said she sprayed air freshener to "cover up the fish smell". Instantly I thought that was weird because it never smells like fish in there. Not bad fish and this was when they first opened at 11. Before we were done, about 15 minutes before we left, I began to develop what I thought was a rash on my lower calf. It was itching. I was in a summer dress. By the time we got to the car I had another spot on the same leg that began to itch when I realized I had been bitten 6 times by something. I would say mosquitoes but these are much worse then the normal mosquito bite. We decided what we were smelling must have been the perfume she was spraying to cover up the insect killer that they were using to kill whatever infestation they had. I think it's horrible that they would open up anyway and not even warn anyone. Technically they shouldn't have opened but money is more important? I'm guessing so. This is only the next day and my hand to God I haven't scratched them. I'm on Benadryl and Quitch. The way they are swelling, I'm questioning if they are mosquitoes or not. Probably gong to urgent care soon. If management decides to respond here, please do not bother with your form letter that is a carbon copy to every dissatisfied customer in Yelp. Fishing for people to go to your Facebook with a special code is tacky and shows how little you care about each complaint. When you hear Lobsterfest, you expect something special, but that was not the case here. The restaurant felt outdated and poorly managed, and the kitchen was clearly struggling. The staff was friendly but overwhelmed and undertrained. It was Valentines Day so long waits were expected, but what was not acceptable was the lack of communication. The oven was down, yet guests were still being seated and allowed to order items that could not be prepared. No one told customers this when orders were taken. Instead, food runners dropped off partial meals, and people had to flag someone down to ask where their missing items were. Only then were they told the oven was down and asked if they wanted something different. By the time replacement sides were ordered, many guests were already finished eating or sitting with cold food while waiting. The servers acted as if receiving only part of a meal was not a big deal. Tables around us were missing drinks, sides, and even entire dishes. I ordered a medium rare steak and it arrived medium well. My broccoli was cold and almost raw. I never received my baked potato or a proper replacement. My glass of wine and basic condiments never arrived. The manager did remove a few items from the bill and apologized, but by that point the experience was already ruined. With so many dining choices available, this is not a place I would return to. read more

Also we had all the essentials napkins, drinks, hot biscuits and sides brought to us promptly. She made sure the plates were collected in a timely manner. She also stated that she remembered us from the last time we were at the restaurant. Her services were the best we've had at any restaurant in a long time. Our waitress (a short Hispanic girl with black hair) was friendly at first, but throughout the evening she kept forgetting items I specifically asked for. I had made simple requests for a couple of accommodations on the side, and she failed to bring them out or even check back in about them. Meanwhile, she managed to get all of my boyfriend's requests correct without issue. It honestly felt like she was only catering to him while completely overlooking me. The most uncomfortable part was when she walked by and actually touched my boyfriend's shoulder in passing. On top of already making me feel ignored and dismissed, that gesture crossed a line and made the whole dinner awkward for me. On July 3rd 2025 my wife and I went to the red lobster located off of law Sierra in riverside California we have always been big fans of the restaurant in its menu was without question one of the best. However our current visit the soups were watery and the Alfredo sauce was watered down as well. The menu had been cut toy they were very little options for the customer even the biscuits had changed and they were not as well done as they. Were before big kudos to our server who was so kind and you tried everything within his power To Do his best to make our restaurant experience great? A group of ten of us went here on a Saturday night. We made reservations ahead of time to limit our wait time. We arrived on time and were greeted by Brandi. She greeted us in the front waiting area and took us to our table in the back. The restaurant wasn't very busy but had several other groups there. Brandi did a fantastic job with our party. Our group can be a bit rambunctious and she handled it great. We like to have fun and crack jokes and Brandi didn't skip a beat and joined in like one of the family. She could have pulled up a chair and been part of the family that night. She checked up on us regularly and made sure everyone had everything they needed. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and Brandi did an excellent job throughout the experience. The food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal but we probably had more conversations about how nice Brandi was than about how the food was.
