Anytime I've ever been to a red lobster, I've never had a problem. All the food that I get is good. There's only one thing I think that I didn't like but their salads are good. There are seafood is good. Their soups are good. I even got a steak there once and it was decent, but I go there mainly for seafood. Scallops, especially I love them, and I've never had a problem. The waiters and waitresses are very speedy and take care of their customers, and everything's always good. Equality is good. I never had bad seafood or anything that ever made me sick or anything. I never leave negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so disappointing that I feel it needs to be mentioned. My server, Alex, was extremely rude from the moment I sat down. When I politely asked about the wait time for my food, Alex actually told me to "go to McDonald's if I wanted my food fast. To make things worse, my order came out completely wrong. When I told Alex, instead of helping fix it, he acted annoyed and refused to do anything to correct it. No apology, no effort, nothing. I ended up sitting there with food I didn't order and a server who clearly didn't care. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Management seriously needs to address this kind of behavior. I will not be returning. read more

Mother's day weekend. Seated quickly. Restaurant was busy yet pleasant. The staff were nice but clearly busy. Took 3 attempts to get the correct drink order. Fish was two store quality small fillets and one was uneatable. Other locations serve a full freshly battered and plate sized fillet. Crispy Brussels sprouts were soggy. For the food you get the prices are too high. I would recommend they improve the food quality or lower prices. I would really like to see this location succeed. We never go to Red Lobster and never thought we would like it. Sat at the bar on the 4th. Happy hour 3 to 6. Travis the bartender made our night really nice. Had happy hour drinks and a happy hour appetizer. He made good drinks and about 7 or 8 beers on tap. Dinner the 1 lb crab legs were great along with the excellent potatoes. The fish special and salad was also excellent. We will return to sit at the very nice bar when Travis works. Happy hour and dinner with excellent service pretty good combo. Can't go wrong with endless shrimp! Sat at the bar and not many other people here. Great service and food came out fast each time. Hot in temperature, great in flavor. Only $25 on Mondays. Coconut have always been my favorite. I did like the new dragon shrimp, they were sweet and spicy. My new go to is the garlic scampi. Not too heavy and cooked just right. Waitress was nice but this steak was so gross! Full of tight gristle and looked like they poured watery cottage cheese all over it. Nothing like the picture on menu. I ate maybe 2 bites. Yucky! Ok red lobster sent me an email to try them again and I am very glad I did. This time I got the bairdi crab legs with potatoes and Cesar salad. I come once a year for endless shrimp. I know it's a chain and don't go into it anymore with super high hopes. It's kind of a childhood memory coming to red lobster but really over the last 5 years or so I sense each time it going down in quality. Shrinkflation for sure. $25 for endless shrimp without the salad where places like penn Ave fish co do fresh endless seafood tacos endless for just $16. The scampi has been rather consistent. The rotating "new" is seemingly always a base + one ingredient (this time it was essentially salt and vinegar popcorn powder). Coconut shrimp fine. Skewer rubbery and bland. But the big disappointment is the pasta. The sauce and quality seemingly dips every year as it used to be one of my favorite things growing up. Now served with 5 shrimps with tails instead of the many salad shrimps. And 5-7 in an order rather than 10. Bartender super friendly but reload wait times varied from 5 mins to 20 mins. read more

For this updated review, I must say that this Red Lobster restaurant is SOLIDLY GOOD! On a Saturday late afternoon, my husband and I visited this restaurant for dinner. The seating host promptly and courteously greeted us and told us that our table would be available soon. After about a two-minute wait, another friendly employee walked us to our table. Soon, our smiley waitress introduced herself and gave us menus. After a brief wait, she took our order. Throughout the service, she gave us refills of biscuits and beverages. At the end of the service, she thanked us and wished us a good rest of our weekend. Here are my reviews for the foods: Cheddar biscuits - free - 5 stars - These biscuits were fresh, warm, and tasty. Crab-stuffed shrimp rangoon - ~$12 - 4 stars - I had mistakenly expected Chinese-style rangoons! Instead, these rangoons were mostly shrimp that contained a small amount of crab and had a crispy outside. A sweet chili sauce was on the side. Lobster bisque - ~$7 for a cup - 5 stars - I feel thankful that in my review from a few years ago, I wrote that this lobster bisque was some of the best that I have ever tasted in my life, so I knew to order it again. I still agree that this lobster bisque tastes delicious. Create-your-own-combination - ~$23 for two proteins plus two sides - 4.5 stars - I ordered roasted flounder (4 stars) that had a mild flavor as well as grilled Atlantic salmon (5 stars) that tasted very good. I chose sides of mashed potatoes (4 stars) and broccoli (5 stars). Crab linguini alfredo - ~$22 - 4 stars - My husband ate this entree, and he described it as "good." My grandparents gave my wife and I a gift card to red lobster last year for Christmas and we just got around to using it. Neither one of us had been to red lobster before and aren't particularly in to chain restaurants, but given the gift card, we went. The wait was about 15 minutes, but not too bad for a Friday night. Our waitress was friendly, got us our drinks right away and let us peruse the menu, since we mentioned it was our first time, before taking our order. She brought out some piping hot biscuits that were pretty tasty and we gobbled them up while looking over the menu. The menu is massive and somewhat overwhelming. We were disappointed at the prices since we only had $25 on our gift card and we were trying to not spend much on dinner (being after the holidays and budgets are tight). We finally settled on the dragon shrimp and the tilapia tacos. These menu items weren't quite as expensive as the others. The shrimp was pretty good, though some pieces didn't seem to be fried quite as well as others and were mildly mushy. A little spicy, but bearable. The broccoli was not steamed as much as we would have liked--more on the raw side than on the cooked side. The brown rice and quinoa was nice and gave it a nice healthy touch. The tilapia tacos weren't great. The tortillas were cold and didn't seem all that fresh. The coleslaw didn't have any sauce on it and therefore was a little boring. Just fresh coleslaw out of a bag. The fish was cooked well and the sauce was good, just wish the whole thing would have had a little more sauce to make each bite a little more interesting. Our side salads were as we would have expected. No complaints. The fries were just ok, nothing special. As mentioned, our server was attentive and kind for the most part but never asked to fill our drinks until we were leaving. Maybe we just don't like red lobster as much as the next guy, but overall we were underwhelmed with the price and the taste. It ended up being about $15/plate for food that wasn't very good. THIS LOCATION IS OPEN! Our family went here last night to celebrate my Grandma's 102nd birthday, we had ten people total and the experience could not have been better! Our server was Julia, she was so efficient and patient and personable. They located us in a room away from other tables so we didn't have to struggle to talk over noise (I appreciate this as we have some who don't hear well). I had the salmon with shrimp. It was supposed to be blackened but it tasted pretty bland to me. It was not a high quality piece of salmon and tasted kind of fishy. The cheesy biscuits that I used to love were not nearly as good as I remember them. I think my tastes have changed over the years. The service was good, but I am not a fan of the food. I'm updating my review because this time around service and food was so much better. We arrived right before a rush, line out the door kind of rush, and I'm so glad we did. The waitresses seemed frazzled when it starting getting busy. Which might be why our service was bad last time. Our waiter was awesome, friendly, attentive, sociable, and fast! We had 6 in our party. He immediately brought out two baskets of cheddar biscuits. The crab cakes were so much better and I ordered something called dragon broccoli and it was so delicious! The kids all loved the kids meal lobster, which was the same size as the adult portion by the way, and a side of snow crab legs each. One of the kids got chicken tenders and fries, so they have non seafood options as well. Maybe the trick is to go early enough when they aren't as busy to get good service and meals. read more

Stopped in for the Lobsterfest that is being promoted. The only real sign I saw relating to Lobsterfest was the huge, live, lobster-filled tank set up in the waiting area of the lobby. Kind of sent second thoughts on the lobster choice. Poor things were all huddled together trying not be chosen as someone's next meal. The lobster fest menu was not as exciting as I expected. The commercials that lured me in for a love affair with lobsters fell short. Not sure if I had higher expectations, but I did not see page after page of selections. Red Lobster is always a good place to go for seafood. We were greeted at the door and gave our information to the manager. He asked that we wait in our car until our table was ready. Once notified, we went in and were promptly seated and our waiter was there to meet and greet us. He gave us a few minutes to decide on our meals and drinks. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp and I ordered the shrimp trios. Both meals and drinks were served promptly. Our waiter was very nice and we enjoyed our meals. My family and I always come to Red Lobster if we don't feel like picking anything else. It's not too far from our house plus we receive great service at this location. We always get a bag of the biscuits to take home with us and the food is pretty good. I always get the shrimp or lobster Alfredo when I go there. I really should go outside the box, but every time I do I just switch right back to my comfort zone. The workers are very polite and friendly. The place is clean, and the drinks are good (expensive but good). We will continue to come here for many more visits ;-) read more

If I could give it no stars I would. Three people in my group got sick and my dad found larva in his rice. When he called to tell them about it (wasnt asking for anything because we are never going back) the manager made it seem like he was making it up and it was SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THAT. The food was okay but the restaurant stinks. Literally, it smells. Upon entering, the bathrooms are immediately to the left of the entrance and they stink up the whole front section of the restaurant. During my wait to be seated, the strong smell of cleaning chemicals and human waste almost ruined my appetite. Luckily, my husband and I were seated in the back so this wasn't much of a problem during our meal. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. However, I couldn't help but notice that there wasn't much of a concern for cleanliness in any of the employees. When our waitress brought out our napkins, there were crumbs all in the napkins. Instead of replacing them, she said, "that's from the biscuits." Ok, but for all I know, that could be from someone else's old biscuit basket. Another employee brought out our plates and there were items hanging off the plates, touching the trays. This was served to us without any hesitation. Other unsanitary incidents occurred that I won't go into detail. I understand that this is a little nit-picky, but my husband ended up getting sick after this dinner and we can't help but wonder the reason why. For food, he ordered coconut shrimp and I ordered crab legs. It all tasted alright, but you can't really go wrong with steaming crab legs and refrying frozen coconut shrimp. I've had better experiences at other Red Lobsters so I'm not totally against this seafood chain. This location, however, I am not a fan. read more
