When I first came to the U.S., Red Lobster felt like a fairly upscale chain restaurant, well known for its premium seafood dishes. I still clearly remember my parents taking me there years ago to try their lobster combo--it left a lasting impression on me. In recent years, especially after the pandemic, I've heard from friends that many Red Lobster locations have closed. This time, thanks to an NBA50 delivery coupon, I finally had the chance to revisit Red Lobster through takeout and tried their Ultimate Tri Shrimp combo, which lets you choose three different shrimp preparations. I personally really enjoyed the shrimp pasta--the rich, creamy white sauce paired perfectly with the pasta and was very satisfying. The Garlic Shrimp Scampi was full of garlicky flavor and tasted great as well. The Walt's Favorite Shrimp, served as crispy fried shrimp with cocktail sauce, was refreshing and delicious. The only downside is the price--it's still on the expensive side... or maybe I'm just broke . Overall, though, it was a pleasant and nostalgic experience.

It's a Sunday late afternoon and there's hardly anyone here.... 3ppl at the hostess stand one acknowledges us, one gets menus and utensils and mumbles follow me, and the other ignores us. Once seated after about 10 minutes a young man after giving the only other table in this dining their food says he'll be right with us. 5 minutes later a different young guy appeared to be our server. He could've used more training but he was tolerable. The bartender did excellent on our drinks! Because the place was basically empty it was eerily quiet which gave off a weird vibe but it was super clean. My friend had the shrimp special for $15.99 (normally $23 on the menu) she cleaned her plate so I'm thinking she enjoyed it! I had the Admiral feast with house salad (addl 1.99 use to be a choice) and baked potato. Something about a Red Lobster baked potato bc they are consistently the smallest baked potatoes of any restaurant BUT they are flavorful because of the salt crust. My flounder and shrimp were perfect, the bay scallops slightly over cooked and chewy but the clams were decimated and not edible. Of course, the cheddar biscuits were hot fluffy and scrumptious. Did I think what we received was worth the $78 b4 tip? I don't think so .....

Our family came in for dinner on Saturday. It was not busy at all. The restaurant was at about 60% capacity around 6:30pm. As mentioned at other reviews, the service was not up to par at all. Food was actually not too bad. Seasoning was ok, except for the salad which was kinda stale. The server didn't bring us any utensils when appetizers came out. Our server simply disappeared. We had to wave down a random server walking by to get some utensils. Drink came in a broken glass, which was crazy. Since our server was missing in action, so we just sucked it up and drank through the straw. And apple juice with our kid menu never came. Again, our server just dropped off food and disappeared. We didn't even bother to ask for the apple juice again.

Great food. Fresh seafood, love the cheddar biscuits, definitely nice ambiance. Service is always great. Stuff mushroom, garlic snow crab legs, and their broccoli is some of my favorites.

Clean and inviting with ample seating. The host and server was good and attentive. The food was fresh and flavorful. There is free open parking. The restaurant plays a variety of music for all ages.

Had a great experience dining here with my mom and sister. The service was fantastic - from the time we walked in, the host was extremely welcoming and our table waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The food came out fairly quickly after ordering and everything was hot and fresh! The cheddar bay biscuits (not pictured) were on point and I had to force myself not to over indulge! I ordered the lobster pizza as my meal and I found it to be slightly over done, just an inch away from being too over done to enjoy. There were no other complaints from anyone else - this was the best Red Lobster dining experience I've had in years!

Social distancing and face masks are required. I dined in with my husband today, since he went and got his Covid-19 shot down the street at Gwinnett Mall. I can't remember our waiter's name, and I looked on the receipt and it's not on there. But anyway we had lobster artichoke dip for our appetizer, Caesar salad and I had a virgin Pina colada and my Husband had a draft beet. Once the waiter brought the appetizer, drinks, and cheese biscuits, we ordered our entree. I ordered the create your own. I had waltz shrimp, fish, and broccoli. My husband ordered the seafood trio. After a couple of biscuits, I wasn't that hungry and neither was my husband. The waiter brought us our food and we packed it up for home. We have 2 full entrees that wasn't touched to go. :-) I had a really nice time here, since I haven't dined at Red Lobster in a long time. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely visit this location again and not order any appetizers. :-)

Walt's favorite shrimp, shrimp scampi, shrimp bacon scampi, shrimp pasta

This review is purely for the Endless Shrimp experience that they've brought back. It's $22 and you can order as many of the 5 entrees as you like. The waiter was really nice and food came out in reasonable time during dinner. Purely food based review: Walt's favorite shrimp - Not a whole lot but I'd personally get a couple portions of this. Nice, fried shrimp served with cocktail sauce. Shrimp scampi - no noodles, just shrimp dunked in garlic butter. A bit too oily. Shrimp bacon scampi - Same concept except with bacon bits Shrimp pasta - Good portion of noodles, not a lot of shrimp, good to only get one order of. Argentina Red Shrimp - Took long to arrive but pretty tasty grilled shrimp over a bed of rice. Chocolate Wave - Not part of the deal but we got a dessert and it was so good with the vanilla ice cream. Overall if you're a shrimp lover go for it but don't expect consistent quality.

I had gotten here around 4:30PM and went to the pool table, I had been waiting close to 15-20 minutes to be served. I just went to the bartender with a slicked back bun and wearing a burgundy shirt named "T" to ask for a drink since my friend had gotten there before me and said she had taken his order prior to me getting there. After waiting about 3 minutes at the bar, she approached me and rudely asked if I had been sitting by the pool tables. I replied and said "yes I'm sitting near the pool tables" and she responded rudely again and said she couldn't take my order and the server sitting in my section would take it. I had told her "okay, well I have been sitting here for a while waiting to be served and I wanted to order a drink" and she responded and said "well we didn't see you over there, go back to your table and I'll get your server" The server named Dom, took my order and I asked him for her name since he either saw/heard what happened. Bless his heart for trying to rectify the situation by bringing the food out quickly and being more pleasant. What makes the story worse, is that this bartender (after she yelled at me) went back to the pool tables where we were sitting to take away plates for another table she had already served and they were sitting one table over from us. So she served them (males) and my friend (another male) and felt like she refused to help or serve me. Overall, I would come back but definitely steering clear of that rude bartender that was very sarcastic and had a nasty attitude. Definitely go there on weekend nights when different bartenders are working and aren't as rude.

The food and drink prices were pretty reasonable. Food quality is pretty average for bar food. You know how it is. Nothing of the extreme spectrum of gross or amazing, just right in the middle. I have a receipt from three years ago because I wanted to remember certain drinks that was ordered. Well... The Irish car bombs for instance has not increased in price: $7.50. I can't believe some of their prices haven't changed in years. But their drink selection has all sort of types and prices. I used to frequent the Peachtree Corners location, but that location has since closed down. This newer location is pretty spacious inside.

The food took about 20 minutes to come out, which is a little long for fast-casual when they aren't busy. We ordered the Connecticut lobster roll, the special salmon BLT, a side of lobster bisque, and fries. The salmon grilled cheese was completely inedible. Neither of us could eat it; we took one bite each and threw it away. It had way too much special sauce, making it unbearable. The fries were okay, and it was nice that they have a house dipping sauce. The lobster roll was decent and had a good amount of meat. I wish it had been a bit more buttery, but it was still okay. The lobster bisque was really good and easily my favorite item. My only minor complaint is that it lacked a splash of sherry on top, but it was still delicious overall. As someone who has spent many years on the New England coast, I know a good lobster roll. This is an okay spot to get your fix, but it ultimately gets 3 stars because that salmon grilled cheese was just that bad.

Tonight I had the MISFORTUNE of spending money, time, and gas for THE MOST unprofessional fast food…read moreservice ever in my life. In this age of going viral, the opportunity almost presented itself. I went into the Whataburger at 1695 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth. Yeah, first mistake, I know. The instructions on a mobile order states to go Into the store, to the counter, and let them know I have an order to pick up. While waiting and observing a well-kept and seemingly clean restaurant, there was no one at the counter, but a loud and boisterous voice was barking from the cooking area. The conversation was coming from a person who sounds new to management because what was being said wasn't for customers to hear. Then I heard "the voice" talking to an employee about getting clocked in at the front counter. Finally, this will be my chance to let someone know I was waiting patiently. That thought didn't age well. When I initiated conversation, I was abruptly told "let me get him clocked in THEN I will be right with you!" WTF?! I then heard her chastise an employee for leaving for the evening without letting anyone know they were leaving. Again, a conversation not for the public. I'll call the manager "Catherine B. Lewis", only because when I tried to get her name, she turned away to keep me from reading it. I bet you can guess why the initial "B" comes to mind for a middle name. The first young man she walked to the front initially, showed concern for my patience and offered me a drink. I hesitated because I wasn't there too long, but hey, he offered. A minute later, I heard "B" say "see if this order is for anyone out there!" Um, that would be me. ‍ When the young man she had chastised came out with the food, he did just as she asked and gave me my order. However, she didn't remind him I had two drinks. How could she? She didn't read the complete order herself. I know, because when I pointed out I was to have two drinks, her defenses went up? But why? A simple oversight, I felt. Not with this one though. Instead of acknowledging the common mistake on her part, she says "two drinks? You got one already!" I told her the employee offered me a drink while I waited. She then accused me of "stealing it" because it was supposed to be water, instead of the orange drink I selected. And I would know this why? Then she threatened to not give me cups for my PAID FOR drinks because I "stole one" already. What ensued was my desire to act on my intrusive thoughts and launch the gifted free orange soda against the wall. But I thought better, and chose not meet ignorance with a misdemeanor. So I used my words instead, after I showed my frustration by snatching one of the cups for my paid for drinks from her hand. Then she went on to become more insulting. With that said, I began to inform her of what I felt the "B" stood for. She then let me know that she and my deceased mother were twinning in that regard. Of course, since I had my food, and my free drink, I was playing with house money and let her know what other adjectives my deceased mother taught me, as I hurled everyone I could muster at her. Who knew I would be recording the last time I EVER go to a Whataburger, while encouraging others to avoid this poorly represented franchise location. Yet, here we are.
