They used to have a DJ or saxophonist but now no entertainment and prepare to be there 3-4 hours They have all new staff now and food has kinda gone down quality wise . Several weeks ago we decided to try out Bonefish as it had been a very long while since we had been. It was a Wednesday evening and the dining area was not very busy. We had a great server who was very attentive. We knew we had to get the Bang Bang shrimp as we liked it the last time we visited. We decided to split a meal and we decided on the grouper and crab cake. Instead of bringing us an extra plate, they split the meal in the kitchen which was awesome and appreciated. Next time I hope to get dessert as I heard people near us raving about what they got. My first time attending an elevated brunch...3 course (really 4) with a cocktail that compliments each dish for $45. They have done dinners but this was their 1st brunch. The 1st was a crostini with goat cheese, bacon, balsamic with a hibiscus bloom sparkling wine. The actual toast was too hard to cut and pretty difficult to bite. But the flavor was there and the drink went very well with it. Of course I ate my flower and it was delicious. Next was shrimp n grits 3 perfectly cooked shrimp with creamy grits and a very tasty sauce along with a cucumber spritz both were very good, then crab cake Benedict with a Hugo spritz..crab cake delicious egg perfect hollandase sauce yummy BUT the English muffin that all that yumminess was on was hard as a brick! The Hugo spritz = yuck the added sparkling water did nothing for it or maybe I don't like elderberry liquor but neither did the other 3ppl sitting at my booth bc no one drank it. Those 3 also asked that their eggs be hard poached so I think they were microwaved and those ladies couldn't even cut them while I ate my beautiful egg and crab cake. The finishing touch was creme brule French toast with a cherry sauce with a strawberry aperol spritz both were outstanding! Was it all worth $55 (45+10 tip) IMHO no but it was fun and I met some new friends so maybe it was worth it. We were serviced by several different ppl... dirty dishes weren't cleared before new courses were brought so that was kinda a clustered mess. This is my favorite Bonefish location but I think I'll stick with my blueberry lemon drop martinis and bang bang shrimp. Let's start w/appetizer. The Imperial dip is rich but oh so DELICIOUS! As I said it's very rich with Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese, crab meat, and shrimp. So far it's my favorite appetizer here. The bread was freshly baked with a side of olive oil and chives. For the main entree, I ordered Grilled Shrimp & Scallops with jasmine rice and corn. A side of mango sauce The shrimp & scallops were grilled to perfection. Very tender. I won't ever go to Bonefish again. The only thing that we liked were the crab cakes. I ordered 2 things to be shared with my mom. The salmon was way overcooked and dry. The white fish tasted and felt like it was undercooked and tasteless. They were short on servers so we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Mom liked the sweet tea. So when the server finally came back to the table, I told her that mom liked the sweet tea. She said, "OH would you like 1 to go?" I said yes. Have lived in the area for nearly 20 years, but this was my first experience with this oddly-named place. I got curbside, so it wasn't until I got home that I got to check out the food. The Great (the ONLY great): The Mexican corn. Just give me an order of that, and we're good! The Don't Bother: The mashed potatoes. Not only were they NOT creamy, they had no taste. Looks nothing like the pic on the menu. It was scooped like ice cream. In order for ice cream to be scoopable, it has to be hard, stiff, devoid of liquid... just like these mashed potatoes! The Absolutely NOT: The grilled chicken breast must have been prepared by a junior cook. Again, nothing like how the menu depicts it, with checkered sear marks. What's worse is that the breast was covered in flecks of pure ash. On top and bottom. As someone who has grilled out, I know that for meat to be covered in ash, the meat sat directly on top of the flames with juices causing sparks, instead of being placed NEAR the heat. Those billions of flecks were not pepper. There was barely any flavor at all (which is why I guess they want you to pick a sauce for the chicken). To make the chicken edible (as most of us know that eating ash is carcinogenic), I spent 30 minutes washing and scrubbing the breast clean. I then re-cooked the chicken and gave it cooked-in flavor. What's more is that I never received a text notification that my order was ready for pickup, so I sat waiting until I called and was told that the food "must be ready" and to pull into the designated spot and follow the instructions. Well, the instructions on the parking sign said to "click the link" in the 'order ready' text that was sent--but I wasn't sent such a text! Soooo, I had to call back and explain. Sigh. A nice lady came out with my order. My food had been ready for nearly 30 minutes! Good thing I called twice, but they need to fix their curbside procedures! Overall, not the best experience. At this point, the Mexican corn is the only reason to place an order. Hopefully, they'll keep it on the menu and teach the junior cook how to grill! read more

We had an amazing experience at Bonefish Grill. We joined their 4-Course Pairing Dinner. For each course, it comes with a nice pairing of Wine. First course is Salad, then appetizer, main course then dessert. I love the Shrimp Sauté with the Josh white wine; excellent pairing. The main course is the bourbon glazed Salmon which is paired with Meiomi Pinot Noir which is a good pairing. The 4th course; the desert. It's a Drunken Coconut Pie paired with the Key Lime Martini. This pairing is awesome! The sweetness of the pine match well with the sweet and sour taste of the Martini The service is incredible. So many servers helping out to please everyone. First let me praise this organization. I have visited many Bonefish nationwide and as a whole, they are always exceptional. Perfectly conceived dishes served in a captivating atmosphere. This location appeared to be no different. It started with our approached to the Hostess stand. We were greeted by two pleasant young ladies who quickly confirmed my parties' requirements and seated us fairly promptly in a cozy, scarcely populated corner. When given the menu, our hostess realizing she had forgot to provide for the children present, quickly returned with kid's menus. The next person that greeted us was our server, Crystal F. From the gate, she was friendly, engaging and extremely obliging. In a short time, it was clear she was obviously very familiar with the menu. She walked us through her preferences from appetizers to main courses, answering questions along the way. This young lady handled the menu like an expert, assuring us she had tried everything and building our anticipation with each word. While we were still engaged in menu selections with Crystal, another server appeared with our recently requested cocktails. Talk about prompt service. The experience had begun. We finally settled on several appetizers and two chef selections as main courses. The food begin to arrive quickly and before long we barely had room on the table for anything additional. The portions were generous and it appeared we were in for a feast. The Shimp toast selection was cooked to perfection. The ahi tuna wonton crisps were a new taste for our palettes and Crystal's personal recommendation. The challenge came with the Ocean Mixed Grill Meal. Great Concept - A varied selection of perfectly conceived fish selections. Sadly, in this case, half the proteins (Halibut/Salmon) were severely overcooked. They looked great on the platter at first glance, but upon closer examination with a fork to mouth.... all you have is dry hard fish draped in a sauce as a camouflage. This is by far not a critique or assumption on the restaurant as a whole. Just an experience from one eager group of patrons who profess a long-time acquaintance and fondness with the establishment. Perhaps the chef was having an off night. Perhaps the crew was distracted by an influx of orders at one time. In any event, this dish left a lot to be desired. This restaurant is a favorite of mine. I went for lunch in a Saturday during their happy hour which is everyday 3:00-6:00pm. I got my favorite cocktail the blueberry lemondrop which never disappoints. I also got the calamari 1/2 order happy hour special. It was a good portion size perfect for one, served hot and crispy with a remoulade type sauce on the side. For my entree i tried the bonefish pasta with salmon. The salmon was delicious seasoned well and tender not dried out. The sausce for the pasta was however a bit thin so the bartender ended up bringing me some more to add to my dish. Our lovely server today was amazing for my mom's birthday. But during my dinner with my sister, mom, dad, and grandma , an older lady with a cane who happens to be an hourly employee per manager , had approached my family's table as we were on our phones , and she says "Oh, everyone is texting on their phones". We thought maybe she was just coming to bring light into the moment because she happened to see us on our phones . But even if we were in that moment she walked by us, what is her position in that? We weren't sure who she was or what her intention were. Actually thought she was a customer like us because she wasn't dressed in employee clothing. Anyways, my grandma and family laugh nervously because we were just confused by the encounter period . My grandma was trying to say "I don't text" in an accent but what she was trying to tell that woman that she wasn't texting like the rest of us were . The lady with the cane says to my grandma "Oh, you don't speak any English ." My entire family speaks English , as me , my sister and father went to college in the US, but my mom and grandma did not and have an accent. I didn't appreciate that being said to us during my mom's birthday dinner as it will be something I will always remember. I was completely disgusted after she said that and just wanted to leave . My family didn't even want to speak to the manager about it and wanted me to settle down about it . But I refused to walk out of there without letting it be known what was said . I thank our server for amazing service , it was her birthday today as well and I hope she has an amazing birthday. But I told my parents that I knew that woman wasn't coming to our table with good intentions . Will be my absolute last time coming to Bonefish Grill . We come here every year for my mom's birthday . I may try a main entree again, maybe the cook I had that night wasn't feeling it and skipped the seasoning on the crab cakes & steak. Bec the crab cake that I had this time was seasoned & delicious! I opted to get a redelivery. I wasn't sure if I'd just get my missing items or a complete order. It was a little of both.
